We got married in October 2025 at Deity Events in downtown Brooklyn, and our experience was nothing short of magical. From the very first moment we toured the space in spring 2024, we knew it was the one. The venue is stunning — modern yet warm, with gorgeous architectural details and an effortlessly chic vibe that feels both elevated and welcoming. Deity is truly a dream for couples planning a wedding in NYC. They host weddings from 50 to 150 guests, and we chose their 50-person micro wedding package. Their pricing is transparent and incredibly reasonable for NYC — packages range from 12K–18K, and we added their breathtaking bridal suite for an additional 3,000, which was worth every penny. The suite is spectacular: two bathrooms, a shower, a full kitchen, a balcony, incredible photography space, a huge sleigh bed, a stunning tub, luxe velvet and leather furniture, exposed brick, and access to a rooftop with a hot tub and cold plunge. It made our wedding morning feel like a luxury retreat and gave us the most beautiful getting-ready photos. What really sets Deity apart is that they are fully all-inclusive and tip-free, which made planning so much less stressful. They handled coat check, bartenders, staffing, a day-of coordinator, DJ/MC, room transitions between floors, passed appetizers, a excellent, generous family style seated dinner, and a full bar with fantastic food and drinks. They also offer beautiful decor basics including a gorgeous hexagon arch, candles, mirrors, table numbers, linens, chairs, and all flatware. This allowed us to personalize the day with our own invites, florals, attire, officiant, dessert, and additional vendors without feeling overwhelmed. Our coordinator was absolutely phenomenal — calm, organized, and truly invested in making our day perfect. The owner, Caio, was lovely, warm, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. We had several planning meetings, a detailed walk-through, and many email exchanges, and we always felt supported and at ease. We also loved the group tasting experience they offered with other couples getting married that month — it was such a thoughtful and fun touch. All in, we were able to have our entire wedding in downtown Brooklyn for around 35K — about 20K to the venue and 15K for extras — which felt like an incredible value for the level of service, quality, and beauty we received. Location-wise, Deity is unbeatable. Being so close to Barclays Center meant there were at least seven hotels within a seven-minute walk, making it super convenient for our out-of-town guests. The flexibility to bring in our own vendors (outside of food and alcohol) made the entire process smooth, creative, and joyful. Truly, the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. I would choose Deity Events a thousand times over and can only highly recommend for other couples to choose Deity so they can have an equally incredible experience.

We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at Brooklyn Winery, and I can’t rave enough about how perfect everything was! From the moment we stepped into the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our big day. The ambiance at Brooklyn Winery is absolutely stunning—charming, intimate, and full of character, with its rustic yet elegant vibe that made our wedding feel truly special. The space itself is beautiful, and we received countless compliments from our guests on how unique and unforgettable the venue was. It set the most perfect tone for the celebration. A huge shout-out to Miranda, our event manager, who was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire planning process. From our first meeting to the wedding day itself, Miranda was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. She was there every step of the way, taking care of all the little things and answering all our questions with patience and professionalism. She made sure our vision came to life seamlessly, and we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. The food was another highlight that our guests cannot stop talking about. Brooklyn Winery's culinary team knocked it out of the park, and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and truly elevated the overall experience. The pairing of food and wine was just perfect, and it felt so fitting for the venue itself. One of the things that truly sets Brooklyn Winery apart is how they take care of every detail—big and small. They made the entire planning process easy and stress-free, from the initial consultation to the final execution. Miranda and the team ensured that everything was coordinated perfectly, so we could focus on enjoying our day rather than worrying about logistics. We honestly can’t recommend Brooklyn Winery enough! Our wedding was a dream come true, and we’ve had so many guests tell us it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended. If you’re looking for a venue with amazing food, beautiful ambiance, and a team that goes above and beyond, look no further. We had a wonderful wedding at The Garrison in August in 2024- from the minute we saw this breathtaking venue, we knew it was a special place where we could see ourselves spending one of the most important days of our life. I immediately got in touch with Bridget, who from day one was super accessible, transparent, kind and willing to work with us. Bridget walked us through the entire planning process, from a tasting where we were made to feel super special by the wonderful Fatima (who ended up being our day of attendant and was AWESOME) to every last detail of our special day. The venue itself is gorgeous, the sunset over the mountains, the floor to ceiling windows, the beautifully maintained grounds - our guests were in AWE. The staff was wonderful, they made sure to treat our wedding party extra special and gave great service to our guests. My morning getting ready in the bridal suite was peaceful and easy and Bridget and Fatima kept things on task. We knew our day was in great hands with Bridget and the team at The Garrison and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding such a memorable and beautiful day.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Threes Brewing in Gowanus. From the very beginning, Angie and Dave, the coordinators, were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and proactive, thinking of every detail so we didn't have to (Angie even kept an eye on the Doppler for us!). They likened themselves to built in Planner, and they delivered! On the night of the wedding, the amazing staff, including Fletcher, Sarah, and countless others, made sure we were fed and taken care of far beyond closing time. They were not only professional but also genuinely fun, leaning into our theme and even dancing along with us. The space itself was exactly what we envisioned. The backyard was a beautiful, intimate setting for our ceremony with its gorgeous greenery, while the main bar provided a perfect, open yet cozy aesthetic for our welcome drinks and dancing. The flow between the two spaces felt seamless and comfortable for all our guests. And the food! Our guests are still raving about the delicious meal from Grand Army. The mac and cheese, chicken, and mapo tofu were all incredible, and they easily accommodated every dietary need we had. If you're looking for a unique, all-inclusive, and genuinely fun wedding venue in Brooklyn with an expert team, look no further than Threes Brewing. We highly recommend them!

I had my wedding reception at Hamilton Loft and I am happy to say that this venue is perfect and we loved every minute of our wedding! The owner, Steve, is kind and attentive, ready to answer any questions and was willing to show us around the space multiple times. I had some details that I really wanted and sent Steve a neurotically long email about them and he graciously took care of everything I asked— all was perfect day of. Hamilton Loft has beautiful lounge furniture that was perfect for our cocktail hour, and a chic main space with room for dinner and dancing, as well as buffet tables. The drinks packages include some incredible cocktails and bartenders— everyone loved our bar and was very impressed by our options. There is also a manned coat room and lounges for the married couple, which was nice to take a break from the festivities when needed. All in all we had a stellar experience in this beautiful space. I would recommend Hamilton Loft as an event space for anyone!

This was the most amazing experience ever! We had our wedding at Threes Brewing at their Greenpoint location and from start to finish, Angie was exceptional and so, so, SO kind and helpful to us. She was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns, and always made the effort to respond as soon as possible. The wedding industry and wedding planning process is so tough and stressful, but Angie went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and she accommodated every concern and change we had. Not to mention, the food & drinks were amazing! Our guests still rave about the food and cocktails they were served, and every person says that the food and drinks were the best they've ever had at a wedding, which is super high praise! We could not have done this without Angie and the team at Threes Brewing, and would really suggest either of their locations as a perfect wedding venue for a couple looking for something that's intimate and cozy, and have amazing food and drinks!

We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!

The venue itself was perfect for our big day. It’s a rustic raw space, but the wood and brick finishes make it warm and inviting. I docked a star because they tried to pull one over on us. When we first booked, they sent a brochure that clearly stated the venue included chiavari chairs, however, when we checked in to confirm the furniture inventory, we were told they never had chiavari chairs and I must be mistaken. When I sent the screenshot and the email with the brochure, they had no explanation. So, I will say this— it’s a nice space, but beware of false advertising.

Our wedding day was the best day of our lives. So much of that sentiment is due to the amazing setting we had, but more importantly all the people who made it possible. From day one, Eman stood out as a trusted advisor and throughout the process turned into a friend. The staff on the day of our wedding was unbelievable. Everyone made us feel like royalty, especially our bridal assistant, Jadelyn. The views, the FOOD, the service... ALL incredible. We chose Ravel because we planned our wedding from LA and needed as much help as we could get. Eman was an incredible partner throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Ravel enough for anyone's wedding or celebration. We just might have to do it again next year..

The personal attention given to the couple throughout the reception was greatly appreciated. The attention to detail day of was a wonderful contrast to their more hands-off approach to the pre-planning. Rochester, NY

Kin is the hot spot for bashes big and small. Situated in a former shipping warehouse at the edge of Rochester’s historic NOTA district, our event space is open and modern, with intriguing hints of its industrial past. We welcome parties of all sizes, for any occasion. To accommodate all styles, the space isn’t overly “designed.” We’ve intentionally left it a blank canvas, so to speak. We offer the opportunity to customize everything on your big day from seating to sips and snacks. We work closely with the area’s leading rental companies to provide the most beautiful table settings and our bar manager will design a signature drink or pair the perfect beverage service with your meal.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Private area for the wedding party

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • On-site parking not available
  • Does not allow pets
We held our wedding at Kin this past October, and our experience was exceptional. Kate, our coordinator, was so fantastic—attentive and ensured the day ran seamlessly. She was so good at communicating leading up to the wedding as well. Kin isn't your typical wedding venue; they prioritize individuality, listening to your vision and bringing it to life. The space is a beautiful blank canvas and the location is ideal as it’s right off East Ave and very close to hotels. Both Kin and Root, owned by Kristen, excel in quality and service. Kristen's holistic approach to food was evident, making it a highlight of our day. Honestly, the staff was just beyond incredible. They made the day by bringing positive energy and ensuring everything was perfect. Would highly recommend!!

  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze. At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our 395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed. We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!

We had our wedding on the rooftop of Greats of Craft in September. We COULD NOT be happier with how the event turned out!!! First and foremost, Joe & Stella are awesome to work with - such friendly and genuine people. They made the planning process as stress-free as it could be, by being communicative, dependable, and accommodating. We already loved the venue, but meeting with them made it an easy decision to choose GoC. We held a mini-ceremony and the reception on the rooftop for 60 people. We wanted it to be less formal (like an “elevated party”) but still trendy, and GoC checked all the boxes. The vibes and setting were PERFECTION: the backdrop of the Queensboro Bridge at dusk for our ceremony; cute string lights with a brick wall and large screen for our slideshow, perfect weather, plenty of room for people to mingle, sit down to eat, and dance. The ENTIRE GoC team/staff were amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and took great care of us and all of our guests. Shout out to Trey and Eddie!! We went with in-house catering for the food - Chef Chris is the best and everything tasted delicious!!! We got SO many compliments on the food from our guests. We still continue to rave about GoC being such a gem of an event space. Trying to find a reasonably-priced, high-quality wedding venue in NYC is difficult and sometimes discouraging. We feel so fortunate that we were able to have our wedding celebration here, it felt like a complete DREAM!!! Thank you, Joe & Stella and the whole GoC crew!!

The space is fantastic and the service is great. we had a couple issues like my name was printed wrong on the menu, some food selections werent prepared the way we discussed with the coordinator, and they were setting up cocktail hour during the ceremony which created some noise. Otherwise, we were very happy and felt the venue was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. The food was phenomenal, they have people eager to help you and take care of you, and the space is just breath-taking. They really throw a phenomenal wedding. Wouldn’t change it for anything!

I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Houston Hall. Carlita and Isabel made sure our entire wedding day went flawlessly. From the start, Carlita worked closely with us during the tasting to ensure all our guests’ dietary needs were accommodated. With several family members living with celiac disease, including my dad, this was incredibly important to us, and she handled it with so much care and attention. The food and drinks were outstanding. We chose a few specialty cocktails that were a huge hit, and our guests ravedabout the food. At most weddings, the food is forgettable, but Houston Hall completely exceeded our expectations, everything was truly delicious. Beyond that, Carlita and Isabel made the planning process so seamless and stress-free. They ensured we had everything we needed, coordinated with all of our vendors, kept the schedule perfectly on track, and made my wedding day feel effortless. I knew everything was being expertly handled and that we were in the best hands. The venue is such a unique and amazing place, and everyone felt so welcomed. Additionally, they provided a list of vendors they work with regularly, which was phenomenal. They went above and beyond in every way and delivered the most perfect day. I am endlessly grateful and couldn’t recommend Houston Hall more highly.

I hosted my fiancé's surprise birthday party at the Olio Lighthouse, and I honestly couldn't have picked a better space. From the moment you walk in, it feels incredibly cozy yet sophisticated. The bar area right at the entrance immediately sets the tone- it gives you that "it's party time!" feeling before you've even fully stepped inside. The space is full of charming, eclectic details that make it feel so unique. One of my favorite features was the upper loft deck with a ladder, where a few people could sit cross-legged and hang out. The lounge area is comfortable with cozy sofas, shelves of interesting books, and thoughtfully curated pieces throughout. There was even a beautiful farmhouse-style sink that somehow became a conversation piece! The dance floor/DJ/projector area was another highlight, especially with the disco ball adding the perfect touch of fun and atmosphere. The hosts were just as amazing as the space itself. Communication was always open, quick, and effortless. On top of that, they were incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. They even helped us set up before the party and assisted with cleanup afterward. While guests should absolutely do their part, those thoughtful gestures really went above and beyond and made us feel so supported. Every single guest was blown away by the space. More than one person jokingly asked if it was available to rent as an apartment because they loved it that much! Everyone had the same expression walking in - that mix of surprise and excitement you get when you discover a space that's truly one of a kind. In a world where so many spaces lean toward the same minimalist aesthetic, this place has so much warmth, personality, and character. It made the celebration feel even more special, and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again!

Weddings can be incredibly stressful and sometimes not go as you planned, but I can guarantee The Edison Downtown staff will make your special day the best wedding or event you’ve ever had. Jena, our wedding coordinator and Bylinda, the owner, truly went above and beyond any of my expectations for my wedding day. The attention to care to not only myself but all family members and party members was impeccable. The organization and leadership day of from Jena highly attributes to the perfection and smoothness of our wedding. She was there late the night before and there bright and early the day of to make sure everything we wanted was done correctly and done timely. She made sure to keep to our schedule and even if there were any bumps in our timeline, she handed it for us. She paid incredible attention to detail to both our wedding and after party, as we had a completely different themed event also at the venue slightly after our wedding ended. I’m sure this made it more difficult than usual for the staff, but Jena handled the organization of all of our decor and organization of the staff and people involved like a seasoned professional. The food from Season’s Catering was divine and some of the best food we can recall having at a wedding or other event in a very, very long time. Our guests cannot stop talking about how absolutely delicious all of the food was, how gorgeous and unique the venue was, and how it was one of the best weddings they have attended. From the bartender to the servers, everyone was so sweet and seemed so excited to be working our wedding day. I didn’t know exactly what to expect planning my first wedding, but was so thankful for having Bylinda and having Jena from the venue to handle everything. Any event at The Edison Downtown is worth every penny. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the effort they put into our special day.
