    ★☆☆☆☆ — Disappointing service and an absurd rooftop experience If you’re looking for a rooftop experience in Chelsea, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. We visited Puttery on a Monday evening and were genuinely baffled by the service. Despite the venue still being open, our waiter, Anthony, informed us that the outdoor cushions had already been put away at 8 p.m. and apparently couldn’t be brought back out for paying guests. Why advertise a rooftop experience if you’re unwilling to provide comfortable seating during operating hours? If the rooftop is effectively shutting down at 8 p.m., communicate that to customers rather than making them feel like an inconvenience. To make matters worse, the bartender was outright rude, turning an already disappointing visit into an unpleasant one. Chelsea has no shortage of excellent bars with better atmospheres and far more attentive service. There’s absolutely no reason to spend your money somewhere that treats basic hospitality like an unreasonable request. A rooftop without hospitality is just an overpriced place to sit outside.

    I stopped at Rory’s Rooftop with some friends for a drink, we had a great time! The nachos are an absolute must. Our server Cory was great, very friendly, super fast and attentive service. Would go back!

    We had a great experience! Even though it was absolutely busy, Corey did a great job taking care of us! He went above and beyond. Fries with all the sauces were fab!

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
Our building is located 12 miles away from LaGuardia Airport in Queens, New York. You can reach our venue by public transportation via the subway or train, or by private car or taxi.
