“Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

“The Briarcliff Manor allowed for our wedding and lead up to the day one of the most amazing times in our lives! Kelsey allowed the process of planning to be seamless, answering any questions we emailed quickly and giving appreciated feedback on any decisions we were unsure about. Alex, the bridal attendant, was attentive to our needs the day of and solved issues even before they occurred. The atmosphere was perfect, and the guests complimented the venue and service not only throughout the night but in the days and weeks that followed. My family and friends are still talking about the food! Kelsey and Alex also made sure that my husband and I had time to relax, reflect and enjoy the day as a couple, providing cocktail hour food in the bridal suite as guests were heading to the reception. “Rich was an incredible wedding photographer and we cannot recommend him highly enough! We had the pleasure of working with Rich for our engagement shoot and then again during our wedding. Both he and his collaborator Greg were amazingly professional, kind, and talented. Rich helped us plan out the timetable for our wedding day and made sure that we got every shot that we had dreamed of (and many more!). Rich helped direct us when we weren’t sure how/whether to pose, and he made sure to get a wide variety of candid and portrait shots. He and Greg moved quickly and efficiently so that we could get beautiful pictures and also have time to enjoy our wedding. Many of our guests told us how friendly both photographers were, and also how they were amazed at how Rich and Greg were able to capture every special moment without drawing attention. After the wedding, we were so impressed at how quickly and beautifully he edited 4,000 photos. “I would give 10 stars if I could! Finertouch was just amazing! They provided music, entertainment and our photobooth. From the beginning, they were organized, communicative, and professional. They spend time getting to know each couple to ensure that they are providing the absolute best service. Their website is easy to use and easy to submit all of your requested music. I had special traditional indian music that I wanted to play in honor of my father and they were able to find it and play it (because the link I submitted initially did not work!). I don't know how they found the music, but they did and it was so special. The photobooth services were great. We also asked if the photo attendant could direct guests to stick their photo into a photobook with special words and it is truly one of my favorite mementos from our wedding day. Harold was a great MC! All of the guests loved him and they are all still raving about the DJ services. He kept the party rocking all night and played music that satisfied our large and very diverse guest list.”

Hi there, I'm Nel. I started Nelstudios because I truly love telling stories through photos. My 15-year career has been dedicated to the visual and storytelling field, and I'm a former graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Photography. Currently, I'm working toward getting my master's from Marist University. I want to give you photos & videos that feel like you, that bring you right back to that day and all the beautiful feelings that came with it. That’s why wedding photography feels so right. I'm not here to create a story, I'm here to document yours.

“Nelson and his team photographed our May wedding in Plattekill, NY and the experience was absolutely extraordinary! They were professional while also personable making the experience very relaxed and natural. Prior to the big day, Nelson was very communicative and helped design a schedule meeting my interests of different shots and perfected the timing. On the day of, Nelson and his team eased right in without a hitch bouncing from one location to the next and corralling us and family seamlessly while staying on time. There wasn't a single moment of concern or stress during photos! Now to gush about the product!! Nelson and his team caught the most PERFECT moments. My husband and I expressed early on that we preferred candid or organic shots and not so much the typical couple poses. And I must say, Nelson got it right! It brought us right back to the day when we were looking through the huge inventory of shots. Brought tears of joy and gratitude. Lets not forget the video!! My GOD!! It was truly an emotionally provoking video and definitely a fan favorite with family. To Nelson and his team, Dave and I couldn't be happier with all your hard work. We will cherish the moments you captured for a lifetime!”

“Keagan did a wonderful job taking care of drinks and our guests at our wedding banquet!! His team was phenomenal and after talking to a few bar service vendors, I knew I had a home-run with Keagan who provided an all-inclusive package (minus liquor). His packages included different size/shape cupware for the different drinks, all the syrups and adornments for cocktails - I felt like I hired a true professional and could leave the details in his hands. Keagan gave such great attention to detail for the specialty cocktails! The cucumber slices were beautiful and generous, and they even cut fresh jalapeños for my spicy mezcalita signature drink. They were made exactly how I had hoped and even tastier than expected. Do not hesitate to book Keagan - his team delivers and as a bride, the bar being one less thing to think about is priceless.”

Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club

“We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. There are so many things that make this venue special. The service, the scenery, the food, and the run of show were all spectacular. The service. We received attentive and detailed service throughout the entire planning process. The director of events, Bob, answered all of our emails promptly and with detail. He is a wonderful man who goes above and beyond to make sure that we were thoroughly satisfied and feeling well taken care of. Bob was so fantastic at helping us come up with solutions to challenges that emerged at different stages of the planning process, and we couldn’t have pulled off the party we wanted without his patience, thoughtfulness, and support. On the day of, we were made to feel so special by all the staff at MBYC. We were given a personal “bridal attendant” who followed us around all day and attended to any needs we had that came up- like holding my bouquet during photos, getting us fresh drinks, grabbing some items from the bridal suite. All of our guests were telling us how impressed they were by the level of service and consideration they received from all the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and in great spirits. The scenery. The venue space at MB&YC is truly RIGHT on the water! It is so incredibly gorgeous. The cocktail hour is on a beautiful deck over the water. The reception is in a ballroom with giant windows facing the water. The space does not need much more decoration to feel special. It is elegant and special, yet practical, home-y, and not at all stuffy. The food. We were so impressed by the food. Typically wedding food is basic and mass produced, but every dish at MB&YC felt special. We had so many friends after the wedding recounting their favorite bites throughout the night. The mac and cheese bites as well as the New York Strip Steak were definitely crowd pleasers. Not only was the food plentiful, but it was all also incredibly tasty. Bob and his staff also made sure to take care of our guests with dietary restrictions. Everyone ate well at our wedding. The run of show. Bob and his team were working very hard the evening of our wedding to ensure the schedule was kept and everything went as planned. Leading up to the event, Bob heard all of our concerns and desires, and he was able to execute a fabulous event the evening of our wedding. I was never once concerned that something was missing or forgotten, I trusted Bob and I knew he was going to make sure we had a perfect night. Overall, definitely book your wedding here at MB&YC! We can’t speak highly enough about our special day here!”
