We purchased the 104-acre farm property in 2016, as a place to begin our future and pursue our passion and love of farming. Since purchasing the farm, several guests found our property to be so serene, fell in love with its natural beauty, and persuaded us to open our family farm for others to experience. We are a family that genuinely cares about you and the details of your big day, and a venue that will consistently go above and beyond. We believe firmly you aren't a "number" or a "package". We host celebrations because we love sharing our farm with couples and families who love it too. Black Walnut Farm is a 34-acre historic estate in Saugerties, NY, where the Catskills meet the Hudson Valley and where weddings become full weekends of revelry. Settle in, welcome your favorite people, throw one hell of a party, and actually enjoy it all! Celebrate in our temperature-controlled 1891 barn with a four-foot disco ball, gather around the bonfire, and stay onsite in our 1747 farmhouse. 2027 Wedding Weekend Venue Fees are $13,500 off-season (Nov-April + July) and $16,500 prime season (May-June and Aug-Oct). A two-night farmhouse stay ($1,200/night) and 15% service fee apply; your welcome event has no additional site fee. Most couples plan for an overall wedding budget (including all outside vendors and services) of approximately $55,000–$100,000+. Our hospitality team is here throughout the weekend, taking care of the details so you can spend your time with your guests. We believe in great food, seriously good drinks, packed dance floors, and one more song.
