You know that all encompassing feeling when you’re revisiting a vivid memory? You can smell the fresh air, feel the way the sun hits your face just so, hear the voice of the loved one next to you, remember the joke that they delivered and instantly you’re laughing all over again. That magic is what I hope to capture as your photographer. It’s my job to hold those moments in time so that they don’t have to fade. You’ll forever be able to revisit the moment, see the exact way they smiled, revisit that incredible sunset, relive the memory and turn back time.
As a shy human myself, it’s important to me to foster a safe space for ALL of your humanity. Whether you struggle to feel comfy in front of a camera or just aren’t sure how to talk to a stranger, I’ll do my best to help lighten the mood and maybe, just maybe, we’ll both make a new friend.

The Wendovers
Where do we even begin. From the moment Jess was recommended to us to our first Zoom meeting to our big day, everything felt so meant to be. Jess was so energetic and genuinely excited to work with us, we absolutely felt it through the screen and the feeling was mutual. She understood our vision, made us feel comfortable, answered all of our questions and even provided helpful suggestions to make sure our day feel even more special. She never let us forget that the day was about us and celebrating our love and that she would be there to guide us. Her presence alone helped us feel so at ease. Jess was communicative throughout the entire process and so very well organized in every aspect. The day of, she took charge. She was able to wrangle all of us and capture the most beautiful, precious, intimate moments of our wedding. Needless to say, the day would not have gone as smoothly as it did if it wasn't for Jess and her take charge attitude as she sprinkled in some dad jokes to get everyone laughing so that the expressions were organic. Not only was she our wedding photographer but has now become a friend and we are so grateful for that initial recommendation. In conclusion, I wish there were more than 5 stars to give her, she is the absolute best and everyone should get the chance to work with her!

Kind, Professional, and Talented!
We worked with Jessica for our wedding and she was first and foremost the sweetest human ever, and very genuine. She was very calm and excellent with her direction to everyone being photographed. We had a small wedding and big memories thanks to the photos Jessica captured. Beautiful quality, and very natural. She came highly recommended by our venue coordinator and it’s obvious why. I would recommend her to anyone having an event or special moment.

Hands Down Our Best Decision!!!
If I could give Jessica 10/5 stars I would. From the communication, the warmth and friendliness, and her ability to see a couple as they are and capture that magic - Jessica was our absolute best decision during the wedding planning process. Our engagement photo shoot absolutely blew us away and she treated us like friends (and supermodels). Jessica helped us write our entire wedding day - of timeline (minus the DJ stuff) the month prior. Then came the day of the wedding - Jessica acted as an expert photographer, coordinator, delegator to the bridal party (our party needed wrangling at times!!), and absolutely stood up for us and our wishes every single step of the way. She saw my face get a little overwhelmed at one point when our family arrived for early photos, and she whisked me away and got me a drink of ice water and checked in. She knew just from a glance that that’s what I needed. We just got our sneak peek photos from her and I am again amazed by Jessica. These photos well exceed all expectations and we feel like royalty looking at them. If you are looking for not only an incredible photographer, but the coolest person to work with (who will also go to bat for you on your most important day), choose Jessica Yurko!!

From your engagement session to planning the day together and finally seeing everything come to life on your wedding day, it was so special being part of it all.
