Sedicah is a freelance makeup artist from the NYC/Westchester area. Sedicah has been doing makeup professionally for over 4 years. Her passion for makeup and beauty started almost a decade ago while she was a student at Penn State University. Sedicah quickly learned the techniques of shade matching, brow sculpting, and contouring. Her signature look is natural to soft glam makeup. Sedicah offers travel makeup services, bridal packages, as well as makeup classes.

I specialize in natural glam that enhances your natural beauty! No need to fear looking differently than your natural self on your wedding day. Curating a look that is perfect for you is part of my specialty and i pride myself on helping you look and feel your best.

The One to Trust!
From the very beginning, Sedicah made me feel completely at ease on one of the most important days of my life. She was patient, kind, attentive, and so willing to make adjustments in the moment to ensure I felt my absolute most beautiful. My makeup looked flawless and elevated while still feeling completely like me, which was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. As a dark-skinned woman, finding a makeup artist who truly understands complexion, undertones, and how to enhance natural beauty is so important, and I knew I was in the best hands with Sedicah. She also did my mother’s makeup, and my mom almost never wears makeup, but Sedicah made her feel so confident and beautiful. Watching my mom light up when she saw herself was such a special moment for me. Every detail was done with care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. I absolutely adored my look and would recommend Sedicah to anyone looking for a talented artist who truly sees and celebrates her clients’ beauty.

Sedicah from SP Beauty was very attentive and caring to me throughout the whole time. She did an amazing job with my makeup - I've never been made up like that before. Bridal Makeup
Sedicah is not only a great makeup artist but such a great person! I had originally met her at a Bridal Expo, as I was seeking a diverse makeup artist. Sedicah’s work truly speaks for herself. She took her time to understand me, my skin type and general preferences. I’ve had my bridal trials leading up to my big day and she did not disappoint! Everything came out flawless! I will be definitely having her do my makeup and will be recommending her!

Beautiful Makeup
Sedicah Powell and her team were very professional from day 1. Sedicah explained her bridal packages which were well priced. We did a make-up trail before my big day and she listened to my desired looks and brought everything together on my big day. They did the entire bridal party they were on time, professional, and attentive to our makeup needs. Sedicah knew how to create the perfect look for an African American bride, not all makeup artist can achieve that, which is why I chose her as my make up artist. I wanted to look natural but glamorous at the same time. I wanted a look that made me look like myself but gave a pop in pictures. Sedicah achieved that for me! She gave me a glam look that was appropriately for an Apostlic Church wedding. Overall, I would recommend her for your big day and on a daily basis.
