Hi there, I'm Nel. I started Nelstudios because I truly love telling stories through photos. My 15-year career has been dedicated to the visual and storytelling field, and I'm a former graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Photography. Currently, I'm working toward getting my master's from Marist University. I want to give you photos & videos that feel like you, that bring you right back to that day and all the beautiful feelings that came with it. That’s why wedding photography feels so right. I'm not here to create a story, I'm here to document yours.

    Nelson and his team were amazing to work with. From the start, Nelson made everything easy and stress-free. He was always happy to hop on a call, communicated notably very clearly and honestly, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors, which meant we didn’t have to worry about video at all on the day of. Nelson went above and beyond to accommodate a last-minute request, and after the wedding he turned everything around quickly and was always easy to reach, responding to emails right away. He also provides his clients with all raw footage, which isn’t always a guarantee, and a huge plus. We couldn’t recommend Nelson and his team more.

    I spent so much time researching engagement photographers for our save the dates and wedding website, and Nelson immediately stood out. His portfolio is filled with couples who looked genuinely happy, never stiff or overly posed, which was exactly the vibe I wanted. He was so kind and easy to communicate with, even hopping on a call to help us plan everything. Finding a time and location was seamless. When we got our photos back, I was obsessed — they look like joyful, candid moments rather than staged shots. I truly couldn’t recommend Nelson enough. His work is incredible, and his pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to others.

    My husband and I booked Nelstudios for both our engagement photos and our wedding. Nelson was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was knowledgeable and personable. He was more than happy to hear our wishes on specific poses, and he even captured a perfect photo with our fur-babies! Nelson did a wonderful job working around hectic hotel rooms to ensure we received memorable photos from our special day. He also presents with a calm and kind demeanor that truly helps an anxious bride on her wedding day! We received our sneak peek photo’s within just a few days after our wedding and they exceeded our expectations. We will cherish these pictures for the rest of our lives.

    Nelson was our photographer for our wedding and rehearsal dinner and we had a great experience!
