“Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

On the day of, Nelson and his team eased right in without a hitch bouncing from one location to the next and corralling us and family seamlessly while staying on time. “So many great things to say about this venue! *Gorgeous venue & perfect location* Every other venue we looked at had these ugly-colored, outdated carpets covering the entire reception hall. What's unique to Greentree is the beautiful large tiles and chandeliers. Not only is it breathtaking to look at, but all of your photos will sparkle and it makes for a perfect blank palette for any color scheme! The rooms are spacious enough for all of your needs, yet so intimate. Since everything is in one area, the guests are always together and it never feels like people are separated. There was plenty of room for all of our vendors to set up successfully. The location is perfect - on the water with beautiful views. We had guests from all over so New Rochelle was the perfect middle ground! Not too far from the city folks but also not too far from those living further north. *All-inclusive is the way to go* We booked Greentree the moment we got home from our initial appointment! From day 1, Kristina was BEYOND helpful with everything from wedding details, to suggestions & words of advice. We planned and pulled off an incredible, full-on wedding in only 3 months and I don't think we could have done it without Greentree. Everyone was shocked! She made everything so easy for us and low-stress. This venue has a great reputation and whenever I mentioned it, everyone was so excited and surprised I was able to book in such short timing. There are SO many benefits to an all-inclusive venue. As a bride there are a million and one things to worry about - but this venue takes care of it all. No need to worry about booking all of the details like catering and a cake decorator. Didn't need a wedding planner either because of their amazing team! The cake the baker made was STUNNING. The cocktail hour had a huge, incredible variety of food and guests were shocked to find out we still had all of our actual meal courses to follow! They were so flexible and accommodated us bringing our own cultural traditional cookies to put out as well. *Super attentive & flexible* Bradford is AMAZING and helped us with our final decisions and decor! We also received a day-of bridal attendant and maitre d' who were beyond accommodating. My bridal attendant was with me the entire night fixing my dress, holding my bouquet, asking me if I would like a drink, and helping me with anything I needed. Our maitre d' Gonzalo is a GEM. I somehow spilled an absurd amount of chocolate from the fountain smack in the middle of my dress. Gonzalo sat with me for minutes miraculously scrubbing it off until it was gone. It was an impossible task but he did not give up until the problem was fixed. He also checked in with us repeatedly throughout the night, guided us to where we had to go at certain times, and made sure we were taken care of. As all weddings, unforeseen things happen. This team is super quick on their feet! Our wedding was in October and was blue skies just about every day of the month. Of course, our weekend there was an impromptu Nor'easter. I'll admit I was bummed as I was looking forward to the gorgeous outdoor setting and photos on the water. However, when I saw how beautiful everything was inside, I was moved to tears. For a venue to successfully pull off a change like that last minute and do such a beautiful job that I was so happy & grateful to have the wedding inside, speaks volumes. It was a perfect day and I wish we could do it all over again. Thank you all SO much!!!”

“If I could do my wedding all over again, I would just so that I can re-live how amazing my flowers were at my wedding!!! I was introduced to Karina from Dean Street Daisies by a colleague at work after I mentioned to him how anxious I was about my flowers for the wedding. I emailed Karina, and in less than 24 hours she scheduled a consultation meeting with me and had been nothing but a delight to work with since then. We bonded on the fact that we are both architects, so I knew how responsible, detail oriented, and design focused she would be. I was not too sure what I wanted in the beginning, so during our consultation, she helped guide me through specific questions about my vision, what colors I'm attracted to, what type of flowers I typically like, etc. Her consultation helped me do a more thorough research, so after I sent her a general moodboard, Karina quickly built and shared with me a design presentation along with a detailed cost analysis that was perfectly within my budget. Karina was honest and upfront from the beginning about how much things would cost, and helped me find the right balance of number of arrangements/ types of flowers that would be around my budget and still fit my vision. And let me tell you... I went from not prioritizing flowers on my wedding day, to the flowers becoming the most important feature of the day! They were absolutely MAGICAL. Everyone was raving about them, and two months later, I still go through all my pictures and daydream about how beautiful my arrangements and bouquets were. If I could give 10 stars for Karina's artistry, professionalism, and commitment to her important role in my wedding I would. Thank you again!!”

“When my husband and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding, we determined early on that we wanted someone who was professional, down-to-earth, easy to work with, and great at what they do. We also specifically wanted timeless, effortless, and natural photos. After speaking to about 5 photographers and not feeling like we found our match, we came across Rich’s work. We immediately fell in love with his photojournalistic approach, his timeless work, and the way in which he captured the raw, authentic, and genuine parts of a wedding day. After our first conversation with Rich, it was clear that we found the photographer we were hoping to find! Rich is not only incredible at what he does behind the camera, but he is also a wonderful person to the core. It was clear that Rich genuinely cares about his couples and wants to do everything he can to make them feel beautiful, comfortable, and happy. Communicating with Rich was easy and stress free. He responded to each email with enthusiasm and professionalism. He never made me feel like I was a bother or that I was asking too many questions, which meant so much to me as a bride. He helped us plan everything from our wedding day to our engagement shoot, offered his opinions on locations, and followed up with us the week leading up to our engagement shoot it as the weather was not looking great! Rich greeted us with a big smile, and made us feel comfortable immediately. It was as if we were catching up with a lifelong friend even though we had just met. I’ll never forget driving away from our engagement shoot and saying to my husband, “I am so grateful that we have Rich as our photographer!”. He made the experience fun and effortless, which only made us more confident in our decision to have him as our wedding photographer. About a month leading up to our wedding, Rich communicated with us often and scheduled phone calls with us so that we could go over the flow of the day. This saved us a great deal of time and stress the day of the wedding, and allowed him to do what he does, which is capture the organic, raw, beautiful moments. Rich took the time to ask us which shots we wanted specifically, and he was sure to capture them. He and Greg both brought such a sense of calm the day of our wedding which was so appreciated. They reassured us that everything was going well, and directed us in a way that made it feel natural. They captured all of the moments we wanted, but never made us feel like we were following a script or “plan”. My husband and I could not believe how beautifully they captured our wedding day! Led by singer, songwriter, and recording artist Melody Rodriguez, the band can be heard in numerous styles such as Latin Pop, Boy Bands and 90’s nostalgia, while authentically performing standards and classics with powerhouse vocals.

“When looking for a band for a multicultural wedding, we knew they had to be special. Just the Melody was the first band we reached out to and it was clear from the onset that we didn’t have to look any further because we knew they were the ones. Throughout the entire experience, Melody and Edvin were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and took the planning process seriously while also keeping it fun. We were able to have multiple planning meetings where they clearly listened to our vision and more specifically the energy we were hoping to bring to the entire evening. Our wedding included multiple different musical moments that Just the Melody was able to provide with aplomb. The ceremony was romantic instrumental music that transitioned to modern pop instrumentals during the first half of the cocktail hour. Then a Mariachi band took over the second half of the cocktail hour with Melody providing gorgeous vocals for a few songs before the 12-piece band took over the magic for the rest of the night. The band with Edvin as MC matched the energy of our guests the entire night in a way we never expected. After our first dance, a beautiful rendition of Luis Miguel’s”Por Debajo De La Mesa”, the band moved right into a wondrous lineup of Latin music including Cumbia, Bachata, and Salsa that got our guests up and on their feet. From that point forward the dancing was nonstop with both American and Latin music filling the air. They also helped us celebrate the joining of our Jewish and Latino cultures by playing the Hora followed by La Vibora De La Mar. Edvin and Melody worked well with our venue to time our fathers’ speeches when our guests paused for a moment to eat and they were thoughtful with the tempo of the night by pairing this with our father/bride and mother/groom dances. After dinner they brought the energy right back up and we even got to see some of Edvin’s unreal dance moves when the 90s/2000s pop music started up. We could absolutely not believe it when they allowed us to come on stage and belt out one of our favorite songs (Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle”). It was a living dream (especially for the bride). We cannot say enough how much both of us and all of our guests absolutely adored Just the Melody. We have been told multiple times by our guests that they didn't expect to go to a concert along with our wedding and that they loved every minute of it. And we did too. The music the entire evening was exceptional and better than anything we could have come up with in our wildest dreams for the evening. Thank you Melody, Edvin and the entire Just the Melody crew - we could not have chosen better for our wedding!!”

“We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. There are so many things that make this venue special. The service, the scenery, the food, and the run of show were all spectacular. The service. We received attentive and detailed service throughout the entire planning process. The director of events, Bob, answered all of our emails promptly and with detail. He is a wonderful man who goes above and beyond to make sure that we were thoroughly satisfied and feeling well taken care of. Bob was so fantastic at helping us come up with solutions to challenges that emerged at different stages of the planning process, and we couldn’t have pulled off the party we wanted without his patience, thoughtfulness, and support. On the day of, we were made to feel so special by all the staff at MBYC. We were given a personal “bridal attendant” who followed us around all day and attended to any needs we had that came up- like holding my bouquet during photos, getting us fresh drinks, grabbing some items from the bridal suite. All of our guests were telling us how impressed they were by the level of service and consideration they received from all the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and in great spirits. The scenery. The venue space at MB&YC is truly RIGHT on the water! It is so incredibly gorgeous. The cocktail hour is on a beautiful deck over the water. The reception is in a ballroom with giant windows facing the water. The space does not need much more decoration to feel special. It is elegant and special, yet practical, home-y, and not at all stuffy. The food. We were so impressed by the food. Typically wedding food is basic and mass produced, but every dish at MB&YC felt special. We had so many friends after the wedding recounting their favorite bites throughout the night. The mac and cheese bites as well as the New York Strip Steak were definitely crowd pleasers. Not only was the food plentiful, but it was all also incredibly tasty. Bob and his staff also made sure to take care of our guests with dietary restrictions. Everyone ate well at our wedding. The run of show. Bob and his team were working very hard the evening of our wedding to ensure the schedule was kept and everything went as planned. Leading up to the event, Bob heard all of our concerns and desires, and he was able to execute a fabulous event the evening of our wedding. I was never once concerned that something was missing or forgotten, I trusted Bob and I knew he was going to make sure we had a perfect night. Overall, definitely book your wedding here at MB&YC! We can’t speak highly enough about our special day here!”

Though she has done hundreds (or maybe even thousands?) of weddings, she took the time to personalize my look for ME, and to encourage me to be honest if I wanted any tweaks. Her energy is so calm and positive- the exact thing you need in a hectic bridal suite. She worked FAST and even kept us ahead of schedule- which I believe is unheard of for the wedding day! Her assistant Riley made skin prep a total dream, and many of my bridesmaids said it was the best professional makeup they've ever received. However, Essie became more than a makeup artist throughout my planning process. When our photographer needed to cancel, she saw my post in a bridal FB group and immediately texted me to send about 25 photography recs- following up to be sure I'd found someone. When I posted in that same group asking for help finding a sponsor for our country club venue, Essie jumped in to help. She went WAY above and beyond what a vendor does for a client, and instead acted as a genuine friend. It's hard to fully put into words how wonderful she is, but booking with Essie is a no-brainer.”
