Your wedding day will move fast and the moments that matter most will happen when no one's looking. That's exactly what I'm there for. With 400+ weddings behind me, I've spent years perfecting the art of capturing the real thing: the laugh you didn't know was caught, the tear your dad tried to hide, the quiet moment between just the two of you. Based at the edge of the Adirondacks, I'll follow your story wherever it takes us across New York State and Vermont, wherever your day unfolds.

Where to even begin. Erin was amazing right from the start! Communication was so easy and he got back to me within a business day! Come day of and we had some rain, but Erin was so quick to shift gears and use the rain as a supporting actor. Even with the weather, he was still able to get the pictures we requested and ones that are so unique! Erin captured our day PERFECTLY and we could not be any happier! Erin was able to get our pictures back super quickly which is a huge plus and deserves all the bonus points! We also hired a videographer for the day and he worked super well with him! The flash drive was delivered in a personalized wood box with one of our pictures printed on the top. I honestly forgot about that, so it was a lovely surprise! I would include every single picture he took of our day to include in my review if I could. So, if you’re hesitating on booking Erin, don’t hesitate any longer. He’s the man for you!

My husband Sean and I got married at the Blue Water Manor in June 2024. We are from northern NJ and took a chance on each of our vendors through their portfolios and online reviews. Jason went above and beyond what we could have ever expected from our photographer. Since we were from out of the area we had multiple phone calls to discuss timelines and specifics really helping us think of everything. Even met with us the week of to walk through the venue and other places we wanted to take photos, just rolling with it and helping us get exactly what we wanted. Nothing could have prepared us for the crappy weather we had the day of the wedding but Jason put a smile on with us and braved it. Never complained about how soaked he probably got and just did everything possible to help us have the best day. And we did. Every single one of our guests commented on lucky we were to have a photographer like him watching him in action and our photos speak to that. Even though our wedding day has come and gone we would still book Jason time and time again.

Photography for people who dread being photographed. With 15+ years specializing in camera-shy couples, I've learned that your wedding is not a generic fantasy from the interne, it's a legacy. The industry pushes couples to perform for the camera, but when you already feel awkward being photographed, that pressure can erase the real, unscripted story of your people. My approach is built for humans who hate being photographed. I create an experience that melts stiffness and anxiety so the raw, honest truth of your connection shows up and the story of everyone who matters is protected.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the amazing opportunity to work alongside Cass as a videographer at a backyard wedding on Lyon Mountain back in August. She was incredibly chill, so kind, and was extremely respectful of what I was trying to capture from the day too. Unprecedented to any photographer I have worked with in the past, she allowed me exclusive time with the bride and groom to get more of the movement shots I was looking for and I was able to get! Never have I ever had a photographer give me the opportunity to work one on one with the couple. Hire her for your wedding, you'll get STUNNING photos and she's a blast to work with!

Welcome! And Congratulations! I am a Wedding & Family Photographer based in Plattsburgh, NY. I grew up in Charlotte, VT where I fell in love with Lake Champlain and all the beauty that Vermont has to offer. I now live in Rouses Point, NY and continue to be drawn by Lake Champlain and its charm. When I am not behind the camera capturing the authenticity of my clients moments I am spending quality time with my husband, his two beautiful children and our two dogs. We spend our summers on Lake Champlain and our winters inside the hockey rink. My love of photography started the moment I held my first camera. I hope to share that passion with you!

Awarded Best of Zola
We were very pleased with Kyla! She was so willing to adapt to our changes as the weather dictated. As an older couple , we didn’t feel the need to have every traditional shot .. we wanted candid shots of our family enjoying themselves along with our tiny ceremony. She blended into the background to accomplish just that and thought quickly on her feet to notice a break in the weather to get outdoor group shots and some of us by our boat . We were definitely too involved in the enjoyment of the day to look for those opportunities and we are so glad she was on it ! We love the photo memories she has created for us and would absolutely recommend her to anyone considering a photographer for their event!

I'm here to serve + empower all the introverted, awkward in-front-of-the-lens, adventure(ish) couples who want to have an authentic, non-traditional wedding experience across upstate and northern New York. We are a husband and wife team who love, love. We are stoked to see others find their true mate and want to capture your unique love story, wherever that may take place. We are based in the Adirondack Mountains in Lake Pleasant and love capturing nature's beauty. We are your typical new age couple, who love trying new foods, drinking craft beer and espresso, shopping at Trader Joe's, watching The Office, Fixer Upper and Game of Thrones. Ya know, Netflix and eat snacks. We have a daughter, Harper who is our IVF FET miracle, five cats and three pups, 35 chickens, two goats and a bunny so we know how to wrangle your family for pictures.

Brain was such a joy to work with for our Wedding in August! He made everyone laugh and relax during photos! The preview photos were amazing and we can't wait to see the rest :)

We were the lucky ones, hiring this dynamic duo! Jeremy and Jenn were extremely efficient, fun, and caught all of the moments that were truly special to us. Wedding day, they came in and literally handled it all. Jenn even sewed my nieces dress so it fit her properly. She was the master of all things. The day went amazing from 1st look to the cutting of our cake. They made it all so easy for us. I was a ball of nerves and Jenn made it all ok. Haha. Both of our families were telling us both, how wonderful they were. Jack and I knew from the moment we spoke to them, they would not only do a wonderful job, but we would become friends after. We cannot thank you both enough for the stellar job you've done.

Christopher Duggan Photography

In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Awarded Best of Zola
We chose Christopher to photograph and videograph our sangeet celebration rather last minute as we were busy planning everything else, so it was quite a relief and so helpful to see how swiftly he communicated with us and delivered on such wonderful memories. Christopher was amazing to work with - as we had wanted, the posed photos were quick (yet came out incredible). We asked him to focus on the celebration and dancing and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We highly recommend Christopher -- thank you for making our evening so special!!

Some of those captures from that night are treasured gems and we love looking back on them. Immediately I knew I’d want to hire her again for a future family photoshoot if she was back in California! Fast forward to May 2025, Dani so graciously helped us with family pictures in Lands End. We had 9 people total and the entire experience was SO enjoyable. Hiring Jess was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, period! From the first time we met, Jess showed genuine care, attention, and excitement about who we are and our special day. Our work kicked off together during an engagement shoot at Coney Island. She went above and beyond-driving 5 hours from the Hudson Valley to meet us at our dream location. We spent the night together, and she never made us feel like we were on the clock. Jess is truly so generous with her time. Our wedding day was of course, even more special. Taking photos with my husband, Jess, and her brilliant second shooter were some of the best moments of our day. Jess went above and beyond her role of photographer - making sure our special people looked tidy, keeping us all on schedule, and ensuring we were well fed and hydrated throughout the day. What really stood out is the care she showed for my loved ones: a family member with autism, and my 97-year-old grandma; having adjusted the schedule to accommodate them. We received a highlights gallery within days of our wedding, and the full album within 2 months (gratefully before Thanksgiving so we could reminisce over the holiday with our loved ones). Before our wedding, I walked through my Pinterest board with Jess. I see so much of what we discussed shine through in our photos. I am so impressed with Jess' attention to detail and diversity in portfolio - from documentary style to editorial shots. Finally, Jess has great knowledge of our venue, Bear Mountain Inn and the accompanying state park. She took us to incredible hidden pockets in the woods, and navigated to the more heavily trafficked viewpoints with expertise. We are so grateful to Jess for capturing our day with so much warmth and love. Hiring Jess is the best decision you'll make in wedding planning! 3

My name is Ali Cushing; a NY-based photographer working in a blended documentary and editorial approach, emphasized with a cinematic method, and a personalized, true to life editing style. I am honored to be entrusted with depicting genuine love, authentic characters, and immortalizing precious memories. I see beauty in the subtle details as much as the wide, epic scene, while I see glory in the mundane in-between moments as much as the heart thudding highs. I am adamant that everyone, of all genders and orientations, any ethnicity, culture, or faith, all shapes, ages, and abilities, are welcome and I’d be delighted to work with you.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the most amazing time working with Ali! We had kind of a long engagement and we initially started working with Ali over a year and a half before our wedding to get our engagement photos done. Not only were the photos beautiful, but Ali made us feel super comfortable and at ease throughout our session. Leading up to our wedding day, Ali was amazing at coordinating the day of timeline with our coordinator and making sure that all the elements that were important to us were included so that we had enough time to capture the moments. One of my favorite things about working with Ali is her calm presence. Every time I was stressed about something in the planning process about the timeline I would talk to Ali and she would immediately make me feel at ease. She was constantly reminding me that the most important thing on my wedding day was to be present with our friends and family (and as a type A bride this was a much-needed reminder!) Ali also came to take photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which was great because she got to know our families and our family dynamics before our big day which was a huge help! On the wedding day Ali and the second shooter Scottie were rockstars! They went above and beyond at every opportunity from helping the boys tie a bow tie, climbing out on my fire escape to get a crazy photo that I had in mind, moving locations at last minute, dealing with rain, helping bustle my dress, and of course capturing all the beauty of our perfect day. I will not hesitate to work with Ali and her team again! She’s amazing, a true professional, and I hope we have the chance to have her capture our big milestones in the years to come.

It is difficult not to write this review entirely in all glowing all caps because Thalia's artistry truly gave us a gift of a lifetime. Thalia is an absolutely lovely person and a PHENOMENAL photographer. We could not love our wedding (and engagement) photos more! My husband and I could tell from our first introductory meeting that Thalia's energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism were precisely what we were looking for, but boy oh boy, did her pictures exceed these expectations. We wanted both editorial and documentary style shots, and we received a perfect blend of both. Thalia knows how and when to provide styling guidance as well as when to hang back in order to snap up all the organic moments too. So grateful that the best day of our life was captured with such care. Thank you, Thalia!!

Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. I aim to capture the little details and authentic moments that make your day uniquely yours.

Awarded Best of Zola
From our very first email exchange to the moment we received our photos, every step of working with Rich was an incredible experience. He always responded quickly, answered every question with patience, and offered thoughtful suggestions I hadn’t even considered. His preparation before the wedding gave us confidence that everything would run smoothly, and it truly did. Richard was exceptionally professional, respectful, kind, and understanding. On our wedding day, he brought a sense of calm amid the chaos. He blended seamlessly into the flow of events—always present when needed, but never intrusive—and coordinated effortlessly with our families, bridal party, and other vendors. He was also incredibly organized with the shots we needed, keeping us on track without ever making us feel rushed. Richard delivered our full gallery exactly one month after our wedding and just before Thanksgiving so we could share the photos with our families over the holiday. It meant so much to us and we were thrilled to receive our pictures so quickly. Looking through the gallery felt like reliving the entire day, moment by moment. He captured the vibe and essence of our wedding perfectly. I especially appreciated his ideas and direction, and his artistic eye genuinely blew us away. He noticed angles, lighting, and emotional moments, capturing everything from the big highlights to the smallest in-between moments. The pictures he took of us, our families, and our venue were stunning—so much so that multiple friends texted us saying the photos looked like they belonged in Vogue. That is entirely to Richard’s credit. Choosing Richard as our wedding photographer was, without question, one of the best decisions I made in the entire wedding process. I am endlessly grateful to have these photos to cherish forever. Choose Rich as your wedding photographer - you will not regret it!!!!

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

When searching for a photographer, I was overwhelmed by the number of options available. Dominique didn’t make me feel pressured. She provided us with her wedding guide, which gave us insight into who she is. When we met remotely, I instantly knew she was the one. She was enthusiastic, listened attentively, and asked us questions about what is important to us leading up to the wedding and beyond. She was great to work with, and I knew what to expect. She drafted our timeline, offered recommendations, and helped us design it based on what was important to my husband and me. She curated a family shot list, and let me tell you, she did not disappoint. Her and her team were amazing.
