With an educated photojournalist's eye and a passion for real, unscripted moments, I've had the privilege of telling the stories of over 400 couples each one entirely their own. My background in multimedia storytelling means I don't just photograph your wedding day; I preserve the feeling of it. Based in the heart of the Adirondacks, I frequently service couples throughout New York State and often venture into the picturesque landscapes of Vermont. No matter where you're planning your celebration, my dedication to capturing the unique essence of your love story shines through.

    Our Photos Exceeded Every Expectation

    We cannot say enough wonderful things about Erin! From the very beginning, he was so easy to work with and communicate with, and he made the entire process feel completely seamless. He was organized and effective without ever making us feel pressured or overwhelmed. On our wedding day, he was extremely punctual and actually arrived way earlier than expected, which gave us so much peace of mind. Most importantly, the photos completely exceeded our expectations. We really wanted less staged photos and more candid photos that showed us naturally interacting and enjoying the day, and Erin absolutely nailed it. Our portraits feel so natural and genuinely capture us as we are, and he did the same throughout the entire night with us and all of our guests. He somehow managed to capture so many little moments that we didn’t even realize were happening, and looking through our photos brought back exactly how the day felt. We are so grateful to have those memories forever. After we received the photos, my mom kept saying, “You for sure got the right photographer,” and we couldn’t agree more! Thank you so much, Erin, for being such a wonderful part of our wedding day and for giving us such beautiful memories that we will cherish forever.     The perfect wedding photographer

    From our first conversation with Erin at Gallery Nine North, we knew we had found our photographer. He has this easy going, funny energy that made us feel at ease from start to finish, and he was incredibly helpful answering all our questions along the way. What really impressed us was how organized he was and managed to capture candid moments we didn't even know he was photographing. The quality of his work is top notch, and his timeless style is exactly what we were looking for. He gave us way more photos than we expected, and every single one exceeded what we had imagined. He suggested a beautiful second location for our first look, and it ended up being one of our absolute favorite parts of the day. Even during the busiest wedding season of the year, he delivered our full gallery in about a month, which completely blew us away. The photos are stunning! Erin captured every moment we hoped for and more, and truly brought the beauty of our fall wedding in upstate NY to life. Reaching out as soon as possible, even if you're unsure of all the details, will significantly increase your chances of connecting with the perfect professional. Typically, couples begin their search for a wedding photographer well in advance, often around 13 months before their wedding date. This allows ample time to research different photographers, review their portfolios, schedule consultations, and ensure they book someone whose style and personality align with their own.
In all honesty, I've never missed a wedding due to illness or personal reasons. It's a record I'm incredibly proud of, fueled by a deep sense of responsibility to the couples who entrust me with such an important task. I understand the weight of this responsibility, the months (sometimes years!) of planning that culminate in this single, incredible day. You deserve the peace of mind knowing your photographer will be there to capture it all. My promise to you is this: in the extremely unlikely event I'm unable to photograph your wedding, I will make sure you are in good hands with another photographer I have a personal relationship with.

At a larger, more complex weddings, a second photographer becomes invaluable, enabling simultaneous coverage of pre-ceremony preparations, multiple perspectives during the ceremony and reception, and a more comprehensive documentation of your entire celebration. Let's discuss your wedding day vision and determine if having an extra set of helping hands is the right decision for you. After all, capturing your dream day perfectly is my top priority.
Final files will be edited for color, saturation and exposure to ensure they look natural with basic retouching at no additional charge. This dedication to detail highlights the importance of photo editing in delivering exceptional results. It's a commitment to providing clients with photographs that are not only captured naturally but also meticulously crafted to perfection. It's worth noting that while retouching can enhance an image, the goal is always to maintain a natural and authentic appearance. Over-retouching can lead to unrealistic and artificial results, which can be detrimental to the overall impact of the photograph.
No, at this time, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
While it's tempting to fixate on the number of photos you'll receive, remember that the true value of wedding photography lies in capturing the essence of your special day. Focus on hiring a talented, experienced photographer whose style resonates with you and who prioritizes telling your unique story through beautiful, high-quality images. And with the flexibility of both color and black & white versions, you'll have a truly comprehensive and timeless collection of memories to cherish for years to come. I don't limit the amount of images you will receive... everything is dependant on your wedding day which is strictly unique to only you.
Yes! I understand that some venues may have specific insurance requirements. If your chosen location requests a higher coverage amount that I carry or requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI), I am happy to accommodate. I can easily increase my policy to meet their stipulations and have the COI sent directly to the venue, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Protecting my clients and myself is a responsibility I take seriously. It's always wise to ask your photographer about their insurance coverage. A professional photographer should be happy to discuss their policy and provide proof of insurance.
