“We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!”

“Justing was a fantastic DJ! We gave him a short list of must-plays then let him do the rest, and he was great at reading the room and playing what the people wanted. He took requests from guests if they fit the vibe and was totally okay saying no too which is exactly what we wanted. We even had some guests asking for his playlist before the night was over. He brought tons of speakers and lights, and even some wireless speakers to play the same music in multiple rooms, including outside on the deck for cocktail hour. Everything went off without a hitch. We also got the photo booth add-on which ended up getting a ton of use and people loved it. Sawyer was manning the booth and 5 stars to him as well!”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“If we could give DJ Chamber Guy more than five stars, we would. He was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the beginning of the planning process through the last song of the night, Kyle was INSANELY AMAZING. Working with him leading up to the wedding was fun and easy. He uses an app called VIBO, which made the planning process simple. We could add all of our song choices, select the exact versions we wanted, record important details, and add songs to our playlist from our phones whenever inspiration struck. It was incredibly convenient and made communicating what we wanted so easy. Kyle also handled the lighting for our ceremony space, and it looked incredible. At one point we got nervous that we hadn’t ordered enough lighting, and Kyle and his team were able to easily add additional lighting to our package for a very reasonable cost. The extra lighting they recommended was PERFECT and made such a difference. He also provided sound for our outdoor ceremony, which was far away from the reception space. He had everything needed to make that work flawlessly, and we didn’t experience a single glitch or hiccup. He made sure our ceremony exit was perfectly timed and synced with our song choice, our reception introductions were AMAZING and perfectly timed, and he edited our first dance and parent dance songs down to the absolute perfect moments of each song. Every transition felt intentional and seamless. Kyle didn’t just DJ our wedding, he guided our guests through the entire day. He knew exactly when to make an announcement, how to keep things moving, and how to create the right energy without ever taking over the moment. Then we got to the reception and saw his setup. HOLY. SH*T. It looked like we had hired a real-life club DJ. The turntables, sound system, equipment, the entire setup was SO impressive. Then we noticed the digital display he had customized specifically for our wedding with our Harry Potter theme incorporated into it. It was such a thoughtful, personal surprise and blew us away. THEN came the dancing. Our guests were simply not worthy of the talent Kyle brought to that dance floor. He played banger after banger all night! Not just the songs we requested, but incredible mixes that he had created himself. At one point, he dropped a mix featuring the Bill Nye the Science Guy theme song, and suddenly every millennial in the room was transported back in time. People were jumping, fist-pumping, and screaming “BILL! BILL! BILL!” Then he pulled out a Law & Order: SVU theme song mix and the entire room absolutely LOST IT. We HAVE to mention the Harry Potter dubstep mix he made. We went completely NUTS for it. It was everything we could have wanted for our Harry Potter wedding and even better than we imagined. This was the third wedding in our family this year, and Kyle was EASILY the best DJ. His talent, professionalism, creativity, communication, attention to detail, and ability to read a room are on another level. We cannot thank Kyle and his team enough for making our wedding so much fun and giving us a night we will never forget. If you’re getting married and considering DJ Chamber Guy, BOOK HIM. Kyle — thank you for absolutely CRUSHING IT. You were incredible, amazing, phenomenal, outstanding… honestly, we’ve run out of adjectives. 10/10. 5 stars. No notes.”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “DJ Motiv was extraordinary. I was so impressed by his professionalism, communication, and willingness to make sure our night was perfect. I was skeptical at first with some reviews mentioning that the DJ’s weren’t playing the songs they chose. I immediately reached out and that was informed that it would not be an issue. ALL of our chosen music was played, with some song requests of guests (with bride’s approval, per DJ motiv - loved that). DJ Motiv checked in with us constantly, even to make sure our food was at our table, if we needed drinks, if the music was going well, and if there was anything he could do. He was going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I even threw in special requests during my wedding, including him stopping my parent dance half way (on purpose) as if the music turned off, to take the mic and give a short speech. He did it phenomenally. I had a game request, with him being the commentator and director of, and he took that role and ran with it. The wedding guests LOVED him. I have nothing negative to say about his services. Even the photobooth was done great! I also had a custom sign made, with our new last name, and it was perfect! Such a great item to be able keep, and you get a year warranty on it. Anyway, I highly recommend this DJ!! He MADE our wedding perfect. Everyone loved him.”

“We had the Golden Scroll Soloists perform for our ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding at OceanCliff this past April, and they were absolutely incredible! From the very beginning, Kevin was so responsive and made the entire process seamless. He provided curated playlists to make things easy, but also gave us the option to customize by selecting individual songs and listening to clips right on their website which we really appreciated. “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). Such a great time. We received so many compliments on our music and the dance floor was busy all night long! He was always very responsive and quick to work with any last minute changes (we had a rainy day).”

“Business Time was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding! From our very first call, their communication was easy, quick, and personable. They really took the time to understand our vision and preferences. On the day of, they fed off the energy of the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night with their fun, musically talented performance that spanned all generations. One of the highlights was when they split my father-daughter dance, playing a sweet song for the first half and then transitioning into our favorite upbeat song "All Star" by Smashmouth, which got the whole wedding up and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our special day so memorable.The morning after so many guests came up to us raving about how fun they had dancing and singing. From the B52’s Love Shack, Zombie by Cranberries, to Chapelle Roan Pink Pony club- Business Time absolutely rocked it. Not to mention the acoustics for the ceremony made my husband cry. They truly have such talent on all ends. Cannot not recommend them enough, they made our wedding so memorable.”
