If I could give these guys a million stars, I would! As a fellow wedding vendor, I do a happy dance when I see that we're working together because I know I'm not going to have any trouble getting some killer dancing shots! On a technical side of things, they are super accommodating for my needs (I do video and they allow me to get a clean audio feed out from their soundboard with no hesitation) and they always sound great! If you're hoping to get grandma up & dancing before the salad course comes out, this is your band. Their dedication to keeping the party alive all night is unlike any other band I've worked with, as they bring along their own DJ to cover when they are taking a much-needed break. They are worth every penny, and your guests will be talking about your wedding band for years to come if you bring them on to your wedding team!

If you're considering booking this band, stop thinking about it and just do it. From the very first meeting, Emily was incredibly organized, responsive, and professional. She made the entire planning process seamless and was on top of every detail from start to finish. The level of customer service and coordination was absolutely outstanding. As for the music... wow. About 90% of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. At one point, one of my friends looked around and realized every single guest was out on the dance floor. That's not luck, that's talent. This band knows exactly how to read a crowd, keep the energy high, and create an unforgettable party. We also booked the ceremony DJ and the jazz duo for cocktail hour, and they were equally phenomenal. Emily has an incredible voice, and every musician in the band, from the guitarists and drummers to the other vocalists, is exceptionally talented. The transitions were flawless, the sound was perfect, and every performance felt polished and professional. Even after the wedding, guests kept asking us for the playlist because they loved the music so much. That's probably the biggest compliment you can give a wedding band. Yes, they are a higher tier investment, but you absolutely get what you pay for: exceptional customer service, flawless execution, outstanding musicianship, and an unforgettable experience that your guests will be talking about long after the wedding is over. Boston Common played for our wedding in late May 2026, and they were all-around exceptional!! From the start, Emily was communicative, easy to talk to, organized and charismatic. The musicians (we did cocktail hour + 9-piece for our reception) are all talented and have broad palettes and abilities. BC's portal for planning and song selection made the process easy and kept everyone on the same page. Emily was a fantastic MC for the night and went above and beyond to make sure we were on schedule and feeling good. So many of our guests commented on how great and fun our band was and were asking for BC's contact. We had some scheduling changes given rain and yet they rolled with changes seamlessly. I think we also were possibly among the more particular couples concerning our music choices and requests (especially speaking for myself), and Emily and BC were accommodating and met all of this with enthusiasm. This really made a big difference to us. Consider them for your events!

Boston Common Band was amazing at my son and his husband’s wedding !!!! The dance floor was full all night! Amazing energy and talent ! We also had a guitarist and vocalist from the band for the ceremony and cocktail hour which was also amazing. You will not be disappointed with this band at your event !!!!!! We received MANY compliments from our guests on the band! Also impressive was the band lead finding me at the end of the reception thanking me as I reached out to her for event.
