I cannot say enough great things about working with Jaime! She truly made the stressful experience so easy. From the time I met her at a bridal show, up until even now after wedding day, Jaime has been a pleasure to work with. Abigail was INCREDIBLE. I think of the entire wedding, hiring her was the best decision my (now) husband and I made. Neither of us had ever been to a wedding - and she explained/assisted with what decisions needed to be made, what we may have forgotten, and provided recommendations based on her experience. There were a few meetings prior to the day of the wedding, and I’ll be honest, I forgot to put 2 of them in my calendar. She didn’t treat me differently, and she was quite understanding and flexible - which meant a lot. She helped make my day the perfect day. I namely wanted a day-of coordinator to take the pressure off myself as well as my mom - and she did just that. She encouraged my mom to enjoy the day, she kept all logistical stuff out of my hands on the day. My mom told me after the fact that there was an issue with the table numbers, and Abigail was already working on a backup plan while they were still looking for the table numbers. It ended up working out - but I didn’t know anything about it till after. Her and her sister, Bree, provided a sense of calm and collected on the wedding day and stayed throughout the entire wedding. Abigail was there the night before at our rehearsal - and truly helped make it super smooth. Her and Bree were there as soon as the venue opened and left after they loaded all the decor in the car. Our card box was in our room, and the room was more made up than previously. It was magical. They truly were above and beyond. I am so grateful I hired Abigail and would recommend her to anyone looking for a day of coordinator. You will not be disappointed!!

She went above and beyond as a day of coordinator by having multiple meetings prior to our wedding day to ensure that we thought about every detail to make our day just as we envisioned it. As an out of state couple, Connie and her team were flexible to meet with us based on our busy schedule. Additionally, she perfectly executed her job the day of our wedding by doing all the behind the scenes work that would have caused us stress. She did things like ensure set up/ take down of decorations, coordinated with other vendors to ensure they were ready on time, ensured we had tried all of our hor’durves during cocktail hour while we socialized, and much more. Emily was amazing! We worked with her for planning, starting from about 15 months before the wedding date, as well as day-of coordinating, and she was an incredible help time after time. Whenever we were stuck trying to figure out vendors or even basic things like the color scheme, Emily was able to help us make progress and stayed really kind and patient throughout, even with what were probably fairly dumb questions at least some of the time. (After all, I don't think either of us ever planned a party for more than a dozen people at a time, so it was invaluable to have help from someone so experienced as Emily!) Emily was great at keeping track of timelines and helped focus us on which decisions needed to be made sooner and what we could leave for later. When we decided to add a tea ceremony as part of the wedding, Emily didn't bat an eye and was so helpful with getting those extra details sorted. There can be so many times while planning a wedding where it’s hard to know how to even approach an important decision, including just communicating w/ guests & family and her expertise, advice, and care kept us from getting stuck more times than we can count! Even though you would expect an event planner to be very rigid in saying how things should go, Emily is not robotic at all and we loved how spontaneous and open to brainstorming different options she always was! The night before and morning of the wedding, we were a bit stressed, but once we were at our venue and Emily was back involved, things went incredibly smoothly and we had a day filled with joy and love. One of Emily's assistants, Alaina, was also there to help w/ day-of details and she was also so nice, calm and capable! Emily even stepped in as an emergency emcee for us when our previous plans fell through 2 weeks before the wedding & our guests loved her humor & warmth during the reception too!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Michelle (Bustle & Lace) as our wedding coordinator at Sarabande Chicago, and I can't imagine our day without her support. Our wedding was a bit complex, it included a Hindu ceremony in the morning, followed by a break, then a traditional American-style cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Michelle handled every piece with grace and precision. Having had an Indian-fusion wedding herself, she was especially knowledgeable about many of the cultural details involved, which made us feel even more confident and understood throughout the process. One of the things that drew us to her was her unique coordination model, where we met with her every few months for a year leading up to the wedding. My husband and I knew that we wanted to stay very involved in the decision-making that went into wedding planning, and her package was the perfect fit for that. Even though we did a lot ourselves, Michelle’s expertise, thoughtful feedback, and vendor connections made the entire process feel guided and manageable. We actually enjoyed wedding planning more than we expected—largely because of her insight and support. She offered incredibly helpful input on our choices and timeline, and provided so much value long before the wedding day was even close. As we entered the final month, her coordination ramped up. She took the lead with our vendors, helped us stay on top of all our final tasks, and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. She also led our venue walkthrough with the full vendor team, helped with setup the day before, and made sure we felt confident heading into the big day. On the wedding day itself, Michelle was a calm, steady, behind-the-scenes presence. If anything went wrong, we never knew—she handled it all. She checked in with us the perfect amount to make sure we were eating, feeling good, and truly enjoying ourselves. Thanks to her, I was able to feel fully present and at ease, soaking in every moment of the day. I’m so deeply grateful for the peace of mind Michelle gave us—not just on the wedding day, but throughout the entire process. She’s a true professional, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a thoughtful, supportive, and experienced coordinator.

I cannot recommend 1945 Event Co. enough! Brittany and Sandy were absolutely amazing as our day-of coordinators and design team. They attended our rehearsal dinner to ensure everything was planned and organized, and on the wedding day, they flawlessly set up and tore down all of the décor. The fact that they provided decor rentals made things so convenient! They brought my vision to life by setting up our centerpieces, memorial table, and all other decorations perfectly. Everything looked stunning and exactly as I imagined. Beyond that, they kept the entire day running smoothly, ensuring that everything flowed effortlessly and stress-free. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to making sure we had a perfect day were incredible. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, and it made such a difference in allowing us to fully enjoy our wedding day.

April could change her title to 'wedding-saver' and it would be just as accurate. The night before our wedding, we learned that the venue had removed one of our tables and we had to redo our seating chart - April sprang into gear, helping us to get a new print-out of seating arrangements as well as verifying their accuracy the morning of the big day. She ensured all of our vendors were on time, kept me from having to deal with day-of difficulties (last-minute cancellations, timing issues, overzealous family members, etc.), and helped us clean up at the end of the night. We would have been lost without her!

Breasia did an excellent job catching up and staying organized with our large wedding (220 guests, 20 person bridal party). She was fantastic from first communication until after our wedding! Everything was executed as planned on her part!

Hiring Ohana and working with Sonya was easily the best decision we made while wedding planning. I was hesitant to hire an outside coordinator because we had a venue coordinator, but the venue coordinator does not do nearly the amount that Ohana does. Hiring Ohana is a NEED. I was first introduced to Danielle and we instantly connected. I felt she understood my vision and wanted to help create our dream wedding. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Sonya for the 90-day coordination package and she was the kindest, most patient, and organized planner. She responded quickly to emails and answered all of my questions, she took over communication with vendors and relieved much of the planning stress, she provided detailed checklists and kept me on track. She also created a detailed by the minute itinerary for the entire weekend for us, our vendors, and a shorthand version for our bridal party which was extremely helpful. Our wedding day was seamless with no hiccups and I can honestly thank Sonya for that. She made sure to keep the day moving on schedule, communicated with all of the vendors, and made sure to check in with me often. Even wedding guests and our parents gave raving reviews for Sonya. My husband and I agree that hiring Ohana and being able to work with Sonya was the best investment we would do all over again, and we recommend them to everyone. I wish I had hired Sonya sooner! Best wedding coordinator of all time. It is true, Ohana means family, and that is exactly how the team treats you.
