“My husband and I got married at Disney's Grand Californian this year and we are beyond grateful that Kimberly was a big part of our wedding. We found out during the planning stages that Disney does not handle personal items and décor and we would have to reach out to an outside vendor. I heard about Kimberly's Ever After Planning in the Disneyland Wedding Community and I reached out to her when I realized that we would have quite a few personal items. She responded swiftly and we were able to discuss Outside Coordination services. She is absolutely so kind, very responsive, and is on top of it. As a former Disney bride herself, she knows how Disney Weddings work and understands how stressful the wedding planning process is. After we received our BEO, Kimberly was able to arrange a meeting promptly and we went over great detail on the BEO, including which items do we DIY and items we pay Disney to provide. My husband was unsure at first if we needed an outside coordinator, but after our first meeting, he was 100% on board that we needed an outside coordinator. I wish we did this earlier, but we realized the planning stress was a little too much, so we hired Kimberly as a partial planner on top of outside coordination. She made a personalized custom planning package and was able to help take a good chunk of wedding planning stress off of us. We were in constant contact until the big day and had bi-weekly or monthly meetings on various topics in wedding, including signage, floral, and personal item décor. On the day of, Kimberly and Travis were just absolutely amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing! We had our personal items in boxes and we gave them creative freedom to arrange our personal items. They were able to set up all of our personal items so beautifully and were able to move everything to reception on time. They were so attentive and helped us throughout the night. One of my aunts lost her earrings in the Dressing Room, and Kimberly was able to hold onto and return it to her after it was found. Additionally, Travis noticed my husband's boutonniere was starting to fall off during the reception, and he stepped in and reattached his boutonniere. Kimberly and Travis offered and were able to get me our signature drinks while I was getting touch-ups. I'm so glad they did because I did not have a chance to try our signature drinks. They were able to get all of the items in both the reception room and the dressing room and returned everything back to us before the night ended! :) If it was not for them, our wedding would have been 30x more stressful. We absolutely cannot recommend Kimberly's Ever After Planning enough for planning and coordination services!”

“DJ Dominiq was THE highlight of our wedding. My husband first met Dominiq at a friend’s wedding, and he came home saying he found our DJ. We feel so lucky his schedule was open on our date. My husband and I couldn’t narrow down our list of songs we wanted to hear, and somehow Dominiq managed to get every single one in, plus some other bangers not on our list during the reception. He was so great with the guests and the wedding party. At one point, one of our groomsmen was a bit drunk and didn’t have it together for the grand entrance, and Dominiq got him in shape. We’ve recommended him to anyone we know who is getting married, and if we ever need a DJ for another event, he will be our first call. He’s fun, engaging, and very attentive to what the bride and groom want. Book him. You won’t regret it.”

“I first contacted Jenny from JenEvents as a preferred vendor of my wedding venue at Coyote Hills Golf Course about 8 or 9 months before our date. She brought this warm energy and excitement to wedding planning that drew us to her. I was planning a western church wedding that still preserved elements of traditional Vietnamese culture so I really wanted a wedding planner who could anticipate those needs and felt that Jenny was our perfect fit! Our venue already provided catering and bar services so we elected to do the day-of-wedding planning package. We were planning from NorCal which made it challenging in many ways. Jen had several check in’s with us over the months and was extremely responsive via e-mail when we requested assistance, such as needed recommendations for late night snacks. She knew all the best vendors in the area so we felt reassured with our vendor line up with her green light. We were also grateful that she was flexible with our tight schedules when we drove down to SoCal. I was a cricut bride and I had A LOT of DIY decor and activity ideas. Jenny was always encouraging yet realistic. She knew or would figure out how to best execute my vision and always had a back up plan which made me feel so secure about trusting her with creating our vision for our big day. For example, I really wanted to create a warm, rustic look over the dance floor with a ceiling of rattan pendant lights with greenery, which the venue had never done before. She really delivered on working with our venue and thinking thoroughly of all the details for execution! It turned out SO AMAZING, just perfect. We received SO many compliments on the decor from our guests! We couldn’t be more grateful to Jenny and her team for carefully making every detail look perfect. Jenny was very thoughtful about details of the wedding that we would have never personally considered and asked clarifying questions to intently understand what we wanted. Her communication was responsive and clear, and it was just an absolute joy working with her. We HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding planning needs!”

“Our daughter had her dream wedding at this exquisite resort! We worked with Ms. Kaitlyn and she was the most outstanding wedding event coordinator from the resort! She was the most patient, knowledgeable and helpful coordinator we have ever worked with! Her help and support made the vent flawless. The hotel is incredible in how modern it is and how clean it is. In fact, as soon as you step into the hotel, you get this premises, you get this wonderful smell throughout. The premises are incredibly clean and well laid out. If you have an opportunity, you should look online for our daughter's wedding pictures and videos. Look for "Tahsir and Farina". I am sure you will agree it was one incredible event. The Sidenote @ Love & Laughter Studios

“This location was perfect!!!! I honestly couldn't have been more pleased with how easy the owners made my planning. Loved that we were able to bring outside vendors for food. They are family owned and let me tell you they make you feel like family. That was one of my favorite things about this venue. Karis was amazing. She is one of the owners and was so welcoming. I loved that they had all the things I needed and had connections if they didn't. This made planning stress-free. I didn't have to call around to find chairs/tables/linen/heaters etc. My guests were all amazed with how unique and beautiful the venue was. Hopefully in the near future we can have our baby shower there.”

The Colony House

“We had an amazing experience with this venue. The team was incredibly helpful, flexible, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. The venue itself is beautiful, and the catering was excellent—high-quality food with a wide variety of options. Portions were generous, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food. A special thank you to Shane and Cameron, who went above and beyond. They allowed us to stop by before the rehearsal to drop off items and practice our dance, which made everything much less stressful. On the wedding day, there was a miscommunication between vendors that led to an additional fee, and the venue was kind enough to help accommodate it. “The Grand Theater was a beautiful wedding venue, with a stunning space and amazing food. The staff was awesome and very attentive to our needs. However, we did have some issues with their communication and payment processes. There were a few instances where payments failed to go through due to their system having an error and they didn't tell us until days later. Towards the end, they also tried to overcharge us but we were able to catch these errors by referencing our contract. They quickly fixed the issues, but it was a bit frustrating to have to double-check and get everything sorted. Overall, the venue and staff were great, but be sure to carefully review your contract and keep on top of all payments to avoid any problems. I don't think any of the issues we had were malicious or done intentionally so I would recommend them!”
