My name is Dominiq and I have been in the wedding industry since 2006. I absolutely LOVE what I do. My middle name is Jakob so my name is literally DJ, I was born for this. I have 6 sisters so not only do I love what I do, but I believe in it as a hopeless romantic at heart. I enjoy bringing together families and friends to forget about their problems for a day and just enjoy life and celebrate.
What makes me different, I would say, is that I love challenging myself with different blends with different genres so my mixes never become stale. I enjoy reading the crowd and that "oohhhhhhhh" moment is what I strive for with dance floors. Challenge me with 2 genre's that shouldn't work and I will show you how to make them work, bringing together 2 different cultures.

Exactly what we wanted!
Dominiq was such an important part of making our wedding day feel like our day. From our very first interview, we knew we were working with someone who genuinely cared about creating a personal experience. During our interview, he was actually live mixing for us, which immediately showed us how much thought and artistry he brings to what he does. He also challenged us to think beyond the music we assumed our guests would want to hear and instead really focus on the music that felt like us. That was such a meaningful part of the process because it encouraged us to bring our personalities, our tastes, and our story into the soundtrack of our wedding. Throughout the planning process, Dominiq was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and collaborative. He took the time to understand what we wanted, answered all of our questions, and made us feel like we were truly creating the experience together. We never felt like we were simply handing over a playlist and letting someone else take it from there. He really partnered with us to understand the energy and feeling we wanted for the day. On the wedding day, he completely understood the atmosphere we wanted to create. The music, transitions, announcements, and overall flow felt seamless and intentional. He knew when to keep the energy going and when to let a moment breathe. Most importantly, the music felt like us. It wasn't simply music that was chosen because it was expected at a wedding, it was a reflection of who we are and what we love. Our guests had an incredible time, and the dance floor was exactly what we hoped it would be. Looking back, we are especially grateful that he pushed us to trust our own taste and not worry so much about what we thought everyone else wanted. That made the music feel so much more authentic and personal, and it became such a special part of our day. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! He was incredibly well prepared, and his song choices were perfect throughout the entire night. He also did an amazing job keeping us on track, working seamlessly with our planner and timeline to make sure everything ran smoothly. We had a great experience and would absolutely recommend him!

Pop-Punk Hero
DJ Dominic is the best! He DJ’d for our wedding earlier this month. My husband and I have a deep love of emo/pop-punk music and we’re having a rough time finding someone who would play those genres, until we found Dominic. He passionately agreed to our request. Day of he played all our requests and then some. Additionally he went above and beyond his job scope by helping keep our schedule on track and making sure to check in on us to see if we needed anything. If you’re looking for someone fun who’s gonna play the baggers and also take great care of you, I highly recommend DJ Dominic.

Best DJ ever !!!!!
DJ Dominiq was truly the best DJ ever which is more important than you might realize for a wedding or any big event! I had to hunt him down from a previous wedding I had been to five years ago, but wow was he worth it. The amount of people who came up to me at my wedding to tell me how much they loved him tells you everything! He led the crowd and read the room perfectly, which made such a huge difference from weddings I’ve been to previously where they didn’t do that. I can’t say enough great things about DJ Dominiq, trust me you NEED him at your event!!!!

Fantastic DJ
