We were incredibly specific with our music preferences and DJ personality (including needing someone bilingual in Spanish for our multicultural crowd). Rob was amazing — he sent us five DJs who fit our vibe perfectly, and we got to speak with each one before choosing. We went with John McGrath as our DJ and he was phenomenal. He met with us multiple times before the wedding to understand our very detailed vision and gave us total confidence that he’d “read the room” — which he did, flawlessly. The sax player brought a ton of energy, and together they kept the dance floor alive all night, which is exactly what we wanted

Seth was the best wedding DJ that we could have hoped for! We first met Seth at a wedding vendor expo event at our reception venue and were immediately impressed by the quality of his sound system and his ability to mix the selected soundtrack live. Seth is very communicative. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. We couldn't recommend Seth enough to other couples who are in need of a DJ! Thank you, Seth!

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. We can’t say enough amazing things about Randall. Even though this review is long overdue, the experience he gave us has stayed with us every step of the way. We booked Randall over a year in advance, and from the very beginning, he made us feel confident and excited about our decision. Our engagement shoot was phenomenal he made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. Leading up to our wedding in August 2025, Randall was professional, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented. He made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, he and his team went above and beyond to capture every meaningful moment from the details in the bride/groom suits, the ceremony, to the energy and joy of the celebration. What truly stood out was his eye for detail and his ability to be present without ever feeling intrusive. He captured moments we didn’t even realize were happening, and now we get to relive them forever. Working with Randall was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! From start to finish he was extremely prepared and provided us with all the materials needed to organize the music and run of show. As both DJ and MC, James truly went the extra mile to make our day run seamlessly, and made us feel so special. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. In addition to being extremely professional, prepared, and organized, he is such a down-to-earth and kind, genuine person. He even captured some videos of our first dance and grand entrance that we wouldn't have had otherwise because we didn't have a videographer. This was so thoughtful and truly above and beyond! We personally added on the photo booth option and are glad we did, as it was a hit. His rates were very reasonable as well especially for the package we got. Everyone raved about James and the music. Jonathan and Faulks Floral Co are seriously heaven sent. Jon is SO talented. Faulks was recommended by a personal friend. I love the call & consultation for the inspo look of the wedding. He really listens and considers your dream vision. After the consultation, he provides the type of florals and the inspo look altogether, which is SO helpful. I wanted spring, pops of color. I also desired to include my love for the ocean into my wedding. How do you combine all those elements to a ranch wedding? A rustic coastal wedding! Touches of beautiful driftwood with floral for the reception tables, my cascading bouquet, my arch, EVERYTHING with all the details are extroadinary. It was my dream come true. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. The Oviatt Penthouse was the first and only venue we toured. It was love at first sight. We wanted an Old Hollywood/jazz nightclub vibe and the venue just fit the bill. The interior is fully furnished and it will transport you back in time to an Art Deco era. Very minimal wedding decorations are needed. Outside, the view of DTLA day or night will take your guest’s breath away. Once contract was signed, the planning process was easy peasy. They have a helpful Preferred vendor list so we were able to book a great caterer and day of coordinator right away. The Oviatt planning team, Lindsey and Cami, were so kind and patient with my multiple questions. Day of the wedding, the Oviatt staff were a super hero team. They were in constant communication with each other and my wedding coordinator to run things smoothly. Also very sweet and friendly. Shoutout to valet, security, and bartender! 3 All in all, our wedding was a magical day thanks to the Oviatt’s wonderful atmosphere. After it was all over, I received multiple messages from guests raving about my wedding. Some told me it was one of the best and most unique wedding experiences they have ever attended. So if you want an affordable venue with historical character, I highly recommend booking The Oviatt Penthouse for your wedding.

The Moon Units made our wedding day truly spectacular! Every single guest says that a highlight of our wedding was the Moon Units. We loved how professional and flexible they were. Each member of the band is beyond talented and phenomenal. You must hire the Moon Units and I promise you will have the best event you’ve ever been to or hosted. The Moon Units performance at cocktail hour was incredible and then their performance for two dance sets was SO MUCH FUN! The bass player will even get on the dance floor and play with you which is just such a highlight! They are so versatile and know just about every song. Incredible. They can also help MC the wedding/event and that went flawlessly! It’s really amazing how they can cater to such a variety of ages/demographic with their music/vibe. Again every conversation we have about our wedding includes some glowing statement about the band. Soon after I went on a Holiday to Spain and everything clicked after attending a European Wedding , “This is it “ . I can design weddings and share my love through each pedal with our Designs. I now get to share what I’m truly passionate about and show the love that I have for florals with you . We make your dream come true by turning each pedal into your own dream wedding .

I hired Maria to be my florist and my wedding coordinator. This was her first time being a coordinator, you would not have been able to tell that. Everything was perfect. Her communication and organization is excellent. She had a timeline written out which she followed to a tee. I wasn't even too nervous the day of the wedding. Maria had it all figured out and made me feel relaxed and confident in her skills. She didn't disappoint! With the flowers, Maria understood the vision I wanted for my flowers (no roses lol). I trusted her enough to pick out the flowers she thought would work. When I saw them for the first time, I cried... She got it exactly right! I loved my bouquet of orange Calla Lilies! My whole wedding was magical and one of the biggest reasons was because of Maria!

However, I do want to note that I do require that the couple has a Day of Coordinator (not the venue coordinator as they are different). Otherwise, I will also charge for coordination services as that puts the burden of day of logistics on the DJ.

Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. We felt like he "got" us while also filling in the gaps appropriately. A true professional, and we feel fortunate having him on the deck for our celebration.

Jason from Dart collective was the DJ at our wedding and we (and our guests) couldn’t have more great things to say about him and the music! We wanted great vibes music for our cocktail hour and then to open our dance floor with fun music for our guests of all generations before transitioning into full party mode for the last half and Jason absolutely crushed this. Our dance floor was packed and our friends have all been complementing the music and how cool it was that he was spinning records. On top of flawlessly executing, Jason, Ruby, and everyone from Dart was kind, professional, and made the planning process very seamless. Would fully recommend Dart (and Jason!) for your wedding.
