It was the small details that made the biggest impact in choosing to hire Kym's Bartenders & Party Helpers to bartend our wedding. Kym and Sydney were both so lovely and helpful. They treated me as if I already booked with them when I was texting with them during the selection process. I had so many questions. Sometimes it would take me as much a week to reach out to them. They always got right back to me. They didn't treat me as someone who was just looking. They treated me with the same attention and care as if I already signed a contract with them. That went a long way with me. Communication was always quick and courteous. They include cups, napkins, and limes with their bar package. When we got married, our first stop was the bar. We we were amazed by how awesome the bar looked. Kym and Sydney brought their own signs and decor to really elevate our bar set up. The Old Fashioned and Pink Paloma were to die for. We got so many compliments on the drinks and great service. They even made a delicious and pretty mocktail for my mom who doesn't drink. She loved it! Booz Dude was an excellent choice for our wedding bar services! They were prompt, flexible, and hard-working throughout the entire event. The bartenders were fast and patient even as our 200 guests kept them busy all night long. Our signature cocktails were great. So. Much. Sushi. And it was PERFECT. We hired Mr. Fresh Sushi Catering for our wedding in Los Angeles this past April and honestly… they were one of the best parts of the entire day. We knew we didn’t want a traditional sit-down dinner—we wanted something fun, elegant, and very us. Enter: sushi. From the start, their team was super responsive, easy to work with, and totally got our vision. We went with a stationary appetizer setup so guests could mix, mingle, and grab bites throughout the evening. It worked out beautifully. The sushi? INSANE. So fresh, so flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the poke cups and the tempura zucchini—who knew that would be such a hit? They also had these little soba noodle cups and grilled yakitori skewers that disappeared fast. And even though it was technically “appetizers,” there was plenty of food. No one left hungry. It felt modern and upscale without being stuffy, and it added such a cool vibe to the reception. We loved how the food brought people together. People still tell us it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to—and honestly, we think the sushi had something to do with that. Seth was the best wedding DJ that we could have hoped for! We first met Seth at a wedding vendor expo event at our reception venue and were immediately impressed by the quality of his sound system and his ability to mix the selected soundtrack live. Seth is very communicative. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. We couldn't recommend Seth enough to other couples who are in need of a DJ! Thank you, Seth!

I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup experience! I loved that Tiffany did both hair and makeup and that I didn’t need to book 2 different people. She listened to what I wanted and made quick changes when I changed my mind last minute. Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. It was a true pleasure to have Randall and his staff a part of our wedding vendor team. He is a true professional and master at his craft. My wife and I were very particular in choosing our wedding photographer. We knew that our wedding photos were going to last forever and wanted to be sure that the photographer we choose was going to capture all of the essential moments. Every photographer has their own style when it comes to editing the photos and Randall’s was exactly what we were looking for. After we wrapped up our initial consultation call, my wife and I knew that he was the photographer we wanted. He was easy to communicate with and we felt very comfortable with him as if we had know each other for years. He built us a personalized package that accommodated all of our specific needs. Leading up to our special day, he made sure to check in on us multiple times and made sure we never had to worry about a thing. His knowledge and experience as a wedding photographer made us feel like we had another wedding coordinator. He knew all of the ins and outs and was going to be prepared for any unexpected changes that might come his way. On the day of the wedding, him and his staff were able to seamlessly work with our videographer to capture all of the important moments we wanted. They were well organized and had a clear game plan. I cannot stress how important having him was on the day of the wedding. He kept my wife and I at ease and was able to adjust to all of the twist and turns that were thrown at him. He was always looking out for us as a couple and made sure our best interests were held. Everyone involved with our wedding spoke so highly of him and his staff. If we were to choose an MVP of the day, Randall takes the cake. We were so excited when he told us our gallery was ready to view and when our hard drive was available to pickup. He captured every single moment and every time we look through the photos we can relive one of the most important days of our lives. We truly appreciate Randall and will always recommend him to any of our family or friends. There is no one else we will call if we ever need a photographer.

Gabriella and Claudio Cakes were an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. Gabriella was easy to communicate and work with - I showed her the cake that I wanted and she was able to execute my vision perfectly. Crystal is calm, efficient, and super personable. We hired her in February ‘25 originally for an Oct ’25 wedding, then pushed it up to a July ’25 wedding. We basically planned an 80 person wedding within less than 6 months and absolutely would not have been able to do this without Crystal. It was a whirlwind and Crystal made things much easier by keeping us on track with tasks, giving us vendor recommendations, and helping research additional vendors when we wanted other catering options. She gives you to-do lists after your calls, has various tracking lists & checklists; it was SO easy to collaborate with her. From a logistics standpoint, our wedding involved a LOT of logistics. Two venues down the street from one another (the latter for the dance party), the main venue required a 'flip' (using the same space for ceremony as the reception), valet, shuttles, separate bar/catering at the 2nd venue... But all of this was executed flawlessly. A few notes- our catering vendor did catch an important rental that was left off of an ever-changing rental order. I am definitely more of a micro-manager/anxious type and that made me a bit nervous. I had the slightest doubt whether or not all these details would be executed on the day of the wedding. Come wedding day, Crystal and the other day-of coordinator/assistant Kristen made sure we kept things on schedule and all goes went as smoothly as a live event goes. Crystal’s prowess came to life on the wedding day and she really took charge. There were a few mishaps but I think they were due to miscommunication; nothing that wasn’t fixed or detracted from the event! Overall, we were happy with the outcome and really appreciated Crystal’s efforts. We would recommend her!

James was so much fun at our wedding! He was a great MC/DJ and was a hit with all of our wedding guests. He communicated with us throughout the wedding process and kept in touch with both me and my wedding coordinator whenever we came across any details we needed to discuss. My only concern was not having him longer at the wedding. My husband and I still talk about our wedding playlist and how we wish we had more dance time with our guests.

Faulks Floral Co. was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, their communication was easy, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful - they really listened to our vision and preferences. Jonathan came to the ceremony location (my father's backyard) and really understood the space and what would work best. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. The Oviatt made planning and enjoying our wedding exceptionally easy, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to another couple. In fact, two of our friends who'd recently gotten married at The Oviatt were the ones to recommend us the venue in the first place. They did not steer us wrong. The initial touring and on-boarding process was seamless and attentive. We got clear answers to all of our questions and concerns, and the team had no trouble making adjustments as things evolved. The venue-related fees were all extremely reasonable for what you're getting, and we felt it was a tremendous value. If you are someone who's overwhelmed by the planning of it all or doesn't have it in you to evaluate the hundreds of vendors out there, The Oviatt can streamline things through their vetted preferred vendors list. We used this extensively and had a similarly excellent experience with everyone we hired, from catering to photographers to floral. We were also able to find vendors from this list that were able to realize our vision while meeting our budget, which was healthy and had some breathing room but was not exorbitant. We had a lot of extremely specific and arguably unusual requests that the venue team was happy to accommodate, even the week of. They were also there to troubleshoot when we encountered inevitable obstacles during the planning process. The venue itself is as stunning as the photos promise. They've recently been doing some historic refurbishment/restoration work, and the results speak for themselves. We wanted an art deco jewel box, and we got that and more. The penthouse elevator made for a grand entrance statement, and the furnishings gave the proceedings opulence to spare. While there was some concern with how we'd fit 90 guests into the interior spaces for cocktail hour while the terrace was turned over for the reception, we found it actually wasn't any trouble at all. The upper deck remained available and allowed for natural crowd control. The scene was lively and exciting, to be sure, but never uncomfortable. We really can't say enough kind things. The staff on the day were incredible, the attention to detail was immaculate, and everything went as perfectly as one can hope.

We had Tavi as our month of coordinator and she helped with our rental order. She was super responsive to all our emails and always willing to help us with any decisions! I felt completely comfortable knowing that Tavi had everything under control. She was proactive with vendors and made sure we were always updated on any changes or issues with vendors. Day of the wedding flowed SEAMLESSLY. Several guest commented about how the night flowed really well from a guest prospective and it was one of the best weddings they had been to. Maria's Little Garden was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the start, Maria was quick to respond to our inquiries and easy to communicate with, making the process seamless. The quality of their work was truly exceptional - the bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral arrangements were beautifully designed with great attention to detail and perfectly captured the color theme we had requested. Maria even went above and beyond, helping to set up flowers for a pre-wedding event at my parents' house as well as the church and reception. Despite having a tight one-hour window to transform the church and then move to the reception venue, Maria and her team executed flawlessly, ensuring everything looked stunning. We received so many compliments on the flowers and could not have been happier with Maria's Little Garden's services. Highly recommended!

Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. We felt like he "got" us while also filling in the gaps appropriately. A true professional, and we feel fortunate having him on the deck for our celebration.
