We chose Kym’s Bartenders & Party Helpers to bartend our wedding and are so glad we did! Right from the beginning, Kym and Sydney were both pleasant to talk to. They made us feel calm and relaxed, and were genuinely interested in what we wanted. They really listened to us. They were also very affordable with no hidden fees or additional charges. We supplied the alcohol and bar to keep costs down. We just needed bartenders to make the cocktails from our specialty menu. Kym and Sydney made everything so easy and even provided us with a liquor shopping list! They told us exactly how much liquor and mixers to buy. What impressed us the most was they always had a long line at the bar because the drinks were so good, but our guests complimented on how fast they got through the line. The bar was the highlight of the night. We couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Kym's Bartenders & Party Helpers!

I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!

Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! From start to finish he was extremely prepared and provided us with all the materials needed to organize the music and run of show. As both DJ and MC, James truly went the extra mile to make our day run seamlessly, and made us feel so special. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. In addition to being extremely professional, prepared, and organized, he is such a down-to-earth and kind, genuine person. He even captured some videos of our first dance and grand entrance that we wouldn't have had otherwise because we didn't have a videographer. This was so thoughtful and truly above and beyond! Faulks Floral Co. was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From first contact to the Big Day, the experience with the incredible people at The Oviatt was amazing. They’re friendly, supportive, accommodating, helpful, and just like NORMAL and COOL. The kinds of people you want to deal with all the time, the kinds of people you want to be friends with. That’s reason enough to book this place, but of course there’s the venue itself. It is GORGEOUS. It is so cool. Historic. Picturesque. It feels special to be there. And after looking around all over town, it is by far the best package in all of Los Angeles. The price includes so much that other venues simply don’t provide. We couldn’t have afforded to have a wedding this amazing anywhere else. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! We had the pleasure of having The Moon Units perform at our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! We enjoyed working with Dylan, he was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to our big day, Dylan and the band were very professional, helping us sort out all the specific details well in advance. One of the highlights was when they specially learned a song for our first dance. It was such a personal touch that made the moment unforgettable. They also performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" for our ceremony, which was perfect. They kept the energy high and the good vibes all night long. They curated a great set list for us and played a wonderful mix of oldies, classic rock hits, and modern pop that we and our guests loved. We can't recommend The Moon Units enough. My wife, Kristie, and I are writing this on our one-year wedding anniversary, and as we reflect on that unforgettable day, it’s impossible not to think of Tavi and the extraordinary role she played in bringing it all together. Simply put, we hit the jackpot with her as our wedding planner. From our very first meeting, we were drawn to Tavi’s calm, grounded presence and the genuine care she showed in getting to know us. People told us to “enjoy the planning,” but it wasn’t until we worked with Tavi that we truly understood what that meant. She made it easy to trust the process—and just when stress would start to creep in, a single call or email from her would immediately bring us back to center. Tavi’s passion for what she does shines in everything—from the big picture to the tiniest detail. She has an incredible gift for listening, for understanding what matters most to her couples, and for making those things come to life with such heart and precision. No detail was too small, no task too tedious. Whether it was vendor coordination, timeline logistics, or just making sure we took a breath and a bite during the big day, she had it covered—always thinking five steps ahead. Her vendor recommendations alone were worth their weight in gold. Each introduction she made felt thoughtful and aligned with who we were as a couple. It saved us so much time and energy, and it was clear that the people she surrounds herself with are just as dedicated and professional as she is. Thanks to Tavi, we were able to be fully present on our wedding day. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. One of the most touching gestures was how she made sure we had a quiet moment to ourselves after the ceremony, complete with our favorite appetizers and drinks. Later, we came back from golden hour photos to find a beautifully plated meal and cold drinks waiting for us—something that often gets missed in the whirlwind of a wedding. These little moments made a world of difference, and they happened because Tavi cared enough to make them happen. Our wedding would not have been what it was without Tavi’s dedication, intuition, and steady hand. She gave us the gift of peace, joy, and the ability to fully experience one of the most important days of our lives. Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. We felt like he "got" us while also filling in the gaps appropriately. A true professional, and we feel fortunate having him on the deck for our celebration.
