    Amazing! Thank you!!

    We're so glad we got James for our wedding! He was very well organized and communicative from the beginning, and was not pushy about curating a certain vibe. He listened to what we wanted but also offered his experience . For example, during planning, we were dead set on having a "last hour" EDM set, with a curated mix with mashups, remixes, edits, etc., but James graciously communicated that it's difficult in a wedding environment, as it's more about keeping guests dancing and engaged than "performing", as a EDM DJ normally would at a show or club. This was something we really appreciated. He was an absolute ace during the wedding ceremony and reception. As MC, he kept our guests involved, made announcements with grace and charisma, and masterfuly navigated different guests' (drunk) personalities during a game. As DJ - he played our requests but also took positive creative liberties to keep people dancing, all of which we appreciated. We highly recommend James & All The Above Events for your wedding and other events! We'll definitely reach out again for any other parties we'll throw.

    DJ and MC for wedding

    James was the MC and DJ for our wedding. He made everything so smooth and easy, and curated music that kept the guests enjoying the evening all night long. Recommend him 100%!

    Great Experience!

    James was an amazing DJ!! I really wanted people to dance a lot at my wedding, and he definitely made that happen! He brought great vibes, was a funny emcee, and did a great job with the music. He was also so easy to work with in the planning process, and he also took a bunch of videos of the dancing and our grand exit (which was super helpful since we didn't have a videographer). Highly recommend!!!

    James is awesome!

    We had a wonderful time working with James for our wedding! He was extremely friendly and accommodating during our first call—we gave him specific playlists to work with for each part of the ceremony and reception, and he did an incredible job transitioning through all of them and picking songs that suited the mood. We chose to do a father-daughter duet in lieu of a dance, and his karaoke setup was able to accommodate that easily, which we were so excited about! As an emcee, James has a really fun and chill energy, and he led us through all the different parts of the ceremony and reception seamlessly. We’re so glad we got to work with James for our wedding and would absolutely work with him again for any future events!

    The best guy for anything event related!

    James truly does all of the above just as his company name says!! I’ve had the privilege of working with him for my auntie’s 50th birthday and recently my wedding. With both events, he was amazingggg. For our wedding, he was the DJ, MC, and provided the photo booth and up lighting. Some unofficial hats he also wore that day were videographer and event coordinator haha. James so wonderfully took it upon himself to do wayyyy more than he was asked that night. He took videos throughout the night and made sure the order of events went so smoothly. And as the bride, i’m so so grateful. We got non stop compliments on how great he was all night, and even days after, people only have the best things to say! I definitely will be going to him first for any event needs and recommending him to everyone. He is such a hard worker and goes above and beyond!!
