Her makeup looks are beautiful and I chose to go with her signature soft glam with curled hair pinned back on one side. She did a fantastic job during the trial and the day of. After the trial, Jasmine was great at asking for my feedback and incorporating it into the final look for my wedding day. She's also mindful of tailoring her approach to your specific needs to help her work last longer. Make sure to tell her about your skin type and any specific concerns, like curls falling out of your hair easily, or oily eyelids for myself which might have affected the longevity of one eye's eyeshadow. Aside from that and a couple other minor touch ups needed throughout the day (grateful for her touch up kit!), the rest of my hair and makeup stayed all night long on my wedding day. I loved my look and thought it was even better than the trial! Even though she isn't a professional hairstylist, Jasmine really nailed it with my hair. It stayed flawless all day and night, despite the dress changes and jewelry adjustments throughout the day and I received multiple compliments on my hair! She's also easy going and nice to talk to - I really enjoyed the time spent chatting with her while getting ready in the morning. It was a great, peaceful way to start the busy day. Jasmine also helped do 2 of my bridesmaid's hair and did a beautiful job. One of them said that she has a really hard time getting curls to hold, but her hairstyle lasted all night long. “San Ramon Waters By Wedgewood Weddings was a stunning venue for our wedding, but we did experience some minor communication issues that caused a bit of stress at the start of the day. The space itself was truly breathtaking, with its amazing new upgrades and beautiful views. However, there were a few details that weren't properly communicated to us, which led to a bit of a rocky start. Although my bridal party and I had lots to deal with prior to ceremony start, these issues were not something our guests would have seen/noticed. To their credit, the Wedgewood team acknowledged their mistakes and upgraded our bar package to make up for it. Overall, the venue was beautiful and the staff did their best to ensure our day went smoothly, despite the initial hiccups. We would recommend San Ramon Waters to other couples looking for a gorgeous wedding location.”

“Hands down THE. BEST. DJs. IN. THE. BAY! Honestly, maybe anywhere?! If you are looking for DJs who bring high quality sound, can read the crowd's energy, mix music seamlessly, and provide excellent customer service, then seriously look no further! Rhythmix Sounds is going to bring the party atmosphere and keep it going!   We booked Rhythmix Sounds in 2019 at the recommendation of a friend of a friend, and Brian was our main point of contact. Unfortunately, we were one of the OG covid weddings that got postponed to 2022 and so we had been waiting with bated breath to dance at our wedding reception/"reception anniversary" and to listen to Rhythmix Sounds' audio skillz!   The sound: The sound was excellent, both indoor and outdoor. One thing that often gets overlooked is the audio at the ceremony. I think it's imperative that your guests can hear the officiant and especially your vows to each other. That's why your guests are there! I don't even know how it was all set up but the lapel mic (and the whole setup) was perfect. Transitioning to the reception, the announcements and music were crisp.   The music: Brian gave me a spreadsheet to list any songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. It was comprehensive, asking for any specific songs for the walk down the aisle, to the first dances, and any other special moments (and of course, any do-not-play songs). I only had a few specific songs for those items, and otherwise gave Rhythmix Sounds a sense of the music artists/vibes that we were looking for, and they knocked it out of the park! Like I mentioned above, they read the crowd on the dance floor so well, and just knew what songs to play to keep the energy up and the crowd on the dance floor, and when to transition to the next one. They catered to all tastes and all ages, and somehow chose songs that pleased everyone! I would be outside saying goodbye to wedding guests, and Rhythmix Sounds would play a song, and I'd have to excuse myself and quickly get myself back to the dance floor!   The cost: Honestly, they brought so much value to us on our wedding day, so I think the price is super reasonable and worth it. I did not have to worry about anything related to the sound and the music on the day of, and you can't buy that kind of peace of mind.   Don't hesitate! Book them now!”

We spent 11 months planning every detail, and booking Golden Bell Music as one of our very first vendors was hands-down the best decision we made. The band/DJ hybrid concept? Pure genius! It absolutely delivers the best of both worlds, and they pulled it off flawlessly. But really, the biggest shout-out – and the core of this whole review – belongs to the phenomenal Marlon Aldana, our DJ and drummer. We first spotted him in action on Golden Bell's Instagram, and it was an instant "that's our guy!" moment. You can imagine our excitement when we found out he was available for our date! Working with Marlon from the very beginning was just an absolute pleasure. He wasn't just playing music; he was genuinely feeling the room, intuitively knowing when to let a song build or transition to keep the energy up. All of our "must-plays" were there, the do not-play was respected, and the dance floor never once emptied And talk about flexibility! We had a last-minute idea to add an extra instrument, and the Golden Bell team didn't blink. They jumped right in, helping us find the perfect addition without any issues. Plus, we had a separate violinist for our ceremony, and it was so impressive to see how effortlessly all the vendors collaborated. No drama, just smooth, professional teamwork, which really speaks volumes about Golden Bell's commitment to making your day seamless. Now, for the ultimate highlight: our after-party! We decided to do something a little different and host it in a wine cellar, and Marlon and his team elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. When they brought in a fog machine, the entire atmosphere transformed. It wasn't just a party; it was an experience! That fog machine honestly MADE the party, turning the space into something truly epic. I genuinely can't picture it having the same incredible energy without it, so a massive thank you for that unexpected, perfect touch. And because we had a masquerade theme, I asked if the DJs would wear disco masks and they SAID YES and wore them the entire time, even after I told them they absolutely didn't have to for more than one song! It just created such an amazing vibe, and we've got the pictures to prove how much fun everyone had! There's just so much to appreciate about this incredible group. “Colin was probably one of the easiest vendors to work with. We chatted on the phone to get to know him, sent him our deposit and that was that! We talked a bit leading up to the wedding, but he and my photographer communicated to get on the same page/ timeline so I didn’t have to stress much about that either. The day of, him and his team were wonderful all day. They themselves were professional, and all his gear was as well. One of the things I appreciated most about Colin was his ability to be everywhere to get footage, but he was secretive about it, so those that are shy on camera didn’t feel pressured. My videos I got were AMAZING. I don’t know how many times we have watched the videos together or how many I’ve watched it alone but, every time feels like the first. It’s beautiful work and truly captured our wedding day and our personalities. We also got raw footage from him that had us cackling. He also included an engagement shoot that we had a couple of weeks before the wedding and those pictures are just unbelievably beautiful! He will tell you which poses to do and guide you to make sure the pictures come out perfect and natural. The number of pictures that he delivered was insane, and they’re all amazing! He sent over some pictures the day after the wedding and sent the complete list of pictures just a week after the wedding, which is an insane turnaround! He also had a couple of small cameras lying around and gave them to bridesmaids to capture their perspectives of our wedding. Thomas was the perfect person for the job and I highly recommend him if you’re looking for the absolute best wedding photographer! Several of our family and friends told us he is the best photographer they have ever seen as they watched him sprint all over the venue throughout the night to capture every single moment of our magical evening.
