The photographer came recommended by our wedding venue, and everything turned out perfect. Our photography package included 2 locations prior to the ceremony/reception venue. Hayden met us at our house to take photos of us getting ready. I did not prepare a list of specific photos I wanted, but Hayden was prepared. He got all the “standard” photos (getting dressed, getting hair/makeup, etc), giving me direction (which I needed as I can be awkward and camera shy). But he was also so excited to try some different shots based on the set up of our housing. We stepped outside to take first look photos… and it was cold, rainy, and windy. Hayden did not bat at eye! He was such a good sport about being in the horrible weather. Then he met us at another location to take more photos in the cold rain and wind. Finally, we made it to the venue. I loved that some photos were candidate, that I was given direction for some photos, and that I was able to bring some ideas that were executed perfectly! He was flexible and accommodating and willing to take creative photos! The photos came out amazing! I would not change a thing!”

“I would 100% recommend them. Here's why: Communication: Jen and Brian work so well as a team. They're both always so quick to respond. They're thorough, friendly, helpful, kind, funny, and efficient. They presented very clear written communication and made themselves available. Price: What really got me was the fact that I could give the password to our album to anyone and there were unlimited downloads. Plus, the engagement shoot and the wedding were bundled together. Last, broke down what they're charging for in the invoice. Organization/tips: Jen is so well organized and Brian knows just how to support her to maximize that organization. Since I was planning this wedding with no wedding planner, their expertise, tips, and organization skills were very much appreciated. When I asked for advice outside of photography, they were very careful not to persuade my decision to what they thought I should do, but gave very insightful tips to make my own, informed decisions. They helped me create a very clear timeline (for photography) that I used for the entire wedding and went over during the rehearsal dinner. They told our officiant (who was my cousin) to be sure to move away before he tells us to kiss. Since my wedding, I've noticed some officiants are not told this. Equipment: They come VERY well prepared. First of all, they were coming from Northern California. We live in Los Angeles/Orange County area. So they came down twice for our engagement shoot and for the wedding. During the engagement shoot, they had tons of great lighting equipment to do cool shots like the one under the bridge. They scoped out the sun patterns of both sites the day before to be sure they got the best lighting. They encouraged me to bring multiple outfits for the engagement shoot and brought a pop up tent so I could change in the middle of a park. They also has a speaker system we were able to use at the wedding Pictures: My husband and I are both very camera shy. Neither of us have taken pictures with professional photographers before and even my husband said, they made us feel really at ease and he could not imagine getting photographed by anyone else. They took a LOT of pictures. They got everything from details to people. They used their own creative ideas, and also asked for our input. The ONLY thing I have to say that's negative is there are a couple shots where some of the people in the photos are off center or not close enough to the rest of the group and one shot where my husband is doing something awkward in with his hands. Other than that, I really really love their editing style and how they got a good mixture of candids and posed pictures. Video: I especially love how in our ceremony video it caught my cousin saying something funny so my husband wouldn't cry when I was walking down the aisle. I love that they added clips of the speeches, but wished they got my cousin (maid of honor)'s speech in there as well. As far as the rest of the video, everyone that watched it said it was AMAZING! They got great camera angles of the ceremony, my husband appreciated that they took the videos quickly as we were doing the pictures, and they really captured as much as they could. Overall, Jen and Brian: - work very well as a team - take beautiful pictures and edit them well - give great tips without overstepping - are friendly, warm, and fun to work with - give you a lot for what you're paying - are very communicative - go the extra mile”

“We found Brandon through our wedding planner Christine Garrison of CMG Events. She suggested him because we were interested in having someone play acoustic guitar and singing during the wedding. After chatting with Brandon, we hired him to play the guitar for our ceremony, act as a wandering minstrel during the cocktail hour, and DJ the entire event. Our ceremony took place outdoors in an open lawn area. Brandon did a great job with setting up the sound. Everyone was able to hear both us and the officiant clearly. The acoustic rendition of Heartbeats (Jose Gonzalez) and Wildflowers (Tom Petty) he played for our processional and recessional were beautiful and really set the mood we were looking for. Brandon also did a great job DJing the event. He was able to take a small number of songs and expand the playlist to not only fit our tastes but keep the party hopping. We had expected that we would have minimal dancing and that our crowd would mostly just sit around chatting. However, Brandon was able to keep the energy up and the dance floor going throughout the night. It far exceeded our expectations and made the night really memorable. He was extremely professional throughout the planning process. We had several calls leading up to the wedding, and he made it easy to communicate what we were looking for in the event. We added songs to a few different playlists which he used as a jumping off point. He also provided suggestions for all the important moments (e.g., processionals, recessional, first dance, grand entrance). His contract and other documents were also clear and always sent promptly. On the day of Brandon arrived on time for set up and did a great job with all aspects (sound, DJing, acoustic performance, and lighting) of the event. He looked extremely professional and was communicative throughout the day, constantly checking in with the planner and us to make sure everything was going well. If he wasn’t sure about a song, he’d ask before playing it. Best of all, he was extremely reasonably priced. His assistant, Josh, was also very nice and did a great job.”

“Where to even begin! Investing in Katherine to do our wedding photos for our August 2021 wedding was the best decision we made, other than getting married! She had done a friends' wedding so I had started following her on instagram long before my husband and I got engaged. We were planning our wedding back west, and so we started looking at photographers back there but I just couldn't find anyone who measured up to Katherine. Listen--if you want "trendy" photos for instagram with lots of filters, orange skin tones, poses, etc--then Katherine isn't for you. But if you want photos that truly capture your day how it really was, then look no further. I spent years pouring over my parents' and grandparents' wedding albums wanting something that felt that classic and real. And real is exactly what Katherine does. She has this amazing ability to be everywhere and no where all at once. I have been in a lot of weddings, seen a lot of wedding albums, and I have never seen a photographer capture candids as well as she does--the photos feel like screenshots from a movie where we look happy and fabulous all of the time! She truly has a photojournalistic approach. She caught every teary hug, hand squeeze, and glance from across the room. And her ability to make every type of light work to her advantage (harsh mid-day, dark dance floor, etc) is truly incredible. And don't worry--she will also get all of those family photos that your parents want and do it in a painless, seamless way! While we were initially hesitant about the cost of hiring a photographer from NYC to shoot a wedding back west, her prices are MORE than fair for what you are getting! She even did a mini shoot with us the night before to get us comfortable in front of the camera and they are some of my favorite photos from the weekend. Also--she made everyone feel so relaxed and comfortable the day of. My bridesmaids were obsessed with her (I mean how could you not be? She shows up in a gucci suit with effortless cool girl energy and is like "let's do this!"), she managed wrangling our very large wedding party with ease and even got my grandma to smile in photos which is a big deal! We woke up the next day to about 15 sneak peak photos from the night before, and had our entire wedding album in 6 weeks! The hardest part is choosing which photos to print! There are just too many that we love. TLDR: Hire this girl, she is smart as a whip, reliable, talented, and a consummate professional!”

“Richard was helpful and respectful throughout our entire wedding planning process. He worked flawlessly with me, my partner, and our wedding planner to pull off an incredibly fun reception. I loved doing the design side of things but absolutely dreaded all the vendor communication — and she completely took that off my plate. She handled ALL of it, advocated for me using her knowledge of the wedding industry, and honestly found practically all of my vendors. On top of that, she was able to get vendor discounts, which was such a huge bonus. She was endlessly patient with me when I couldn’t make up my mind and wanted constant changes — never once made me feel annoying or difficult, just supportive and flexible every step of the way. The week of my wedding, we found out there was a high chance of rain, and I was completely overwhelmed. “My wedding was in May and the weather surprised us by dumping buckets of rain during the ceremony. Thomas was so helpful with all of his direction and suggestions for the ceremony. He was able to keep his cool and roll with the punches on our very crazy day. Our Photos are absolutely stunning! I honestly can't say enough good things about him. He took so many photos and his editing is wonderful. He also did our engagement photos all the way in Yosemite. “My husband and I were engaged in October 2023 and began looking at wedding venues the month after. We then finalized our booking with Redwood Canyon in January 2024 to give ourselves ample time for planning and financing for our big day on May 26th, 2025. Since we live on the East Coast and majority of our families reside in the Bay Area, we wanted to find a venue that could provide an all-inclusive package and bring our vision to reality - and Redwood Canyon checked all of those boxes... even going above and beyond. We are very happy with the entire process that led up to our special day and the outcome of our wedding. *1 year prior to the wedding* They kept us updated with some of the renovations they were making at the time. When we wanted to do a physical tour in June 2024, they fitted us into the schedule and showed us the actual colors of table cloths, napkins, lighting, etc. *8 months prior to the wedding* The wedding team sent us an invitation to the Fall Wedding Extravaganza Fair for late October 2024. We unfortunately couldn't make it, but they accommodated us by including our friend couple residing in the Bay Area to take over our place. Our friend couple FaceTimed us during the entire event to make us feel like we were there! They commented how it was nice to try out all the food options they had in the package to know what foods the couple would like to finalize for their wedding day. They also enjoyed the fun activities the DJ curated - there were two opportunities to win a prize from those activities. *5 months prior to the wedding* This was a two-hour call with the wedding team to go over our vision and details. I forgot the name of the person assisting us, but she was very patient and fun to talk with! She reassured us that if there were changes we'd like to make over the next few months, they'd be happy to accommodate. A few months later, vendors contacted us to further discuss additional details - officiant, cake, DJ, and florist. *1 week prior to the wedding* We had Jacoby as our amazing wedding coordinator and Ana to assist on our special day. They reviewed and confirmed details as well as what to expect on our Rehearsal Day, which was a day prior to our wedding. We loved their positive attitudes and professionalism throughout the process! *Wedding Day* Despite how fast and chaotic it felt, we truly appreciate Jacoby and Ana for keeping us on the right pace, consistently checking in with us, and making sure we were happy and comfortable throughout the day. If there was something I, my husband, our wedding party, and family needed, they were quick to provide it. They also knew where to put our decor and took some behind-the-scenes photos to share with us after our wedding. We had our photographer, Hayden from A Perfect Impression, who suggested all the right poses, shots, angles, and places to take our photos. Our DJ, Saul, was very accommodating with a song request and some changes that we communicated through email and text - the vibe of the ceremony and reception was perfect. The food was fantastic, the photobooth provided high-quality images that we could receive through a texted link. *Overall* If we could rate it more than 5 stars, we totally would! We are truly happy that we chose Redwood Canyon for our wedding - an amazing and friendly team with a beautiful venue that accommodated 80 of our guests!”

“We hired Brendan Reiss to film our wedding. Brendan was easy to communicate with and was able to answer all of our questions. The way Brendan filmed our wedding was truly magical. One unique thing Brendan did was filming aerial views of our wedding venue with his drone. He used top of the line equipment to film our wedding and didn’t miss any important shots. “Party Ardi is someone who does it all! He was an excellent MC & he truly helped us plan our program out. We had no idea what we wanted as far as a “program,” but he didn’t hesitate to help us create a nice little timeline for our reception!
