Lisa Bettencourt Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Pottersville, NY

Hi, I'm Lisa Bettencourt! Since 2014, I have been working as a professional photographer, from dance competitions, to headshots, press events, engagements, weddings, corporate, and picture day in NYC public schools. But no matter where my career has taken me, my favorite moments have always been about capturing love and togetherness. As your wedding photographer, I promise a relaxed, fun, and creative atmosphere, making sure you feel confident and at ease in front of the camera. My goal is to deliver stunning visuals that will exceed your expectations, all while being mindful of your budget. I know firsthand how expensive weddings can be!

My partner booked Lisa to take photos of our proposal, and we could not be happier with the whole experience!! Not only did she brave a cold night on the brooklyn bridge, but the photos came out absolutely magical. She captured the moment perfectly, and even little side moments with family and friends. She captured every organic moment from tears to laughter, in a beautiful and truthful way. We are so happy with our photos and can’t wait to look back on them for the many years ahead.

For Couples who are good at heart, that live for the seconds and party like no tomorrow. Capturing Authentic moments, focused on heartfelt storytelling. Based in the Southern Adirondacks, I have been wedding photographer for 15+ years now telling over 400+ wedding days.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hire Jason as your wedding photographer—it will be the best and easiest decision you make. I first met Jason in 2021 at my best friend’s engagement shoot and was immediately impressed by his creativity, calm energy, and genuine personality. A year later, at her wedding, it felt like reconnecting with an old friend. When I got engaged in 2023, there was no question—Jason had to be my photographer. He was the first vendor I contacted, and we even chose our date based on his availability. Jason made every step of the process fun and meaningful. For our engagement shoot, he spent the entire day with us, bringing us to a brewery and Crown Point State Historic Site (his amazing recommendation). Not only did we get beautiful photos, but it was a genuinely fun day! On our wedding weekend, Jason photographed both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. He wasn’t just our photographer—he was “our friend Jason,” capturing every special moment with care and creativity. On such a busy, whirlwind day, that brought a sense of comfort and made the whole experience even more special. Our photos are stunning, timeless, and everything we hoped for. Jason pours his heart into his work, and it truly shows. Having him as part of our wedding was a joy, and we’ll treasure the memories he preserved forever. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Fairytale Dreams Photography

I'm Cass, an Improviser Photographer from the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York. Because this is my full-time career I have the time to dedicate to my clients. Rather than only taking pictures of you, I want to get to know you on a personal level. I like to establish a connection based on trust and honesty when taking photos. I am a photographer without cheesy trends, capturing the things that actually matter. REAL LIFE. What you see is what you get; so no over editing or too much posing. I dedicate my work to capturing real emotions in a fun and non-intrusive atmosphere.

Awarded Best of Zola
Cass is seriously AMAZING! We did our engagement, rehearsal and wedding photos with her and we couldn’t have asked for better pictures, we were blown away. In addition to the great photos, Cass is the absolute best to work with. Prior to the wedding, she went above and beyond to make me feel supported with all my questions and requests. I knew we were in great hands after our engagement shoot but she didn’t stop proving that the entire duration of the time leading up to our wedding. She also went out of her way by hiking with us to our first look location and by working non-stop with us to get the perfect shots of our pup. She is so fun and has a great way of making everyone feel comfortable. I had members of both the bridal party and wedding guests approach me and express how much they loved Cass. Do yourself a favor and book Cass for your next shoot, she definitely exceeded our expectations and is so fun to work with!

Gallery 9 is absolutely amazing! They gave us so many amazing pictures and the sweetest keepsake box. During our wedding day they were so attentive and made sure we got all of the shots we wanted and then some! The turn around time getting our pictures back was crazy fast, especially considering how swamped they were the week of my wedding. On top of it all, they were so kind and a TON of fun to work with! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Welcome! And Congratulations! I am a Wedding & Family Photographer based in Plattsburgh, NY. I grew up in Charlotte, VT where I fell in love with Lake Champlain and all the beauty that Vermont has to offer. I now live in Rouses Point, NY and continue to be drawn by Lake Champlain and its charm. When I am not behind the camera capturing the authenticity of my clients moments I am spending quality time with my husband, his two beautiful children and our two dogs. We spend our summers on Lake Champlain and our winters inside the hockey rink. My love of photography started the moment I held my first camera. I hope to share that passion with you!

From our first phone call with Kyla, we knew we had found the perfect wedding photographer. Kyla's communication style was fantastic - she was responsive via phone, text, email, and even met with us in person to discuss our vision. The photos she captured on our wedding day turned out absolutely stunning! Kyla went above and beyond, taking all the family pictures we wanted and choosing a beautiful spot for our wedding party photos. She is reliable, easy to work with, and thoroughly answered any questions we had. The quality of her work is truly amazing - she clearly takes the time to hand-pick the best photos for our album. Donna Marie Photo Co.

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Pottersville, NY

I’m Donna Marie—the introverted, hella awkward + nerdy, all about the vibes and adventure(ish) soul that you can typically find behind the camera (rather than in front of it). I'm here to serve + empower all the introverted, awkward in-front-of-the-lens, adventure(ish) couples who want to have an authentic, non-traditional wedding experience across upstate and northern New York. What matters most are the emotions you experience as your wedding day unfolds. Whether that be in a place with easy to reach epic views, or any place or location that embodies who you are. I’m your go-to gal when you decide to take control of your wedding day.

Donna Marie Photo Co. was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding photography. Donna's communication was top-notch - she was available for questions and planning every step of the way in the months leading up to our big day. On the wedding day itself, Donna rolled with the punches when our schedule got a bit delayed but still managed to capture all the moments beautifully. Most importantly, the quality of the photos is truly amazing. Donna managed to take artistic shots that perfectly encapsulated the style and emotion of our wedding. The final edited photos were delivered promptly. We could not recommend Donna highly enough for wedding photography services - her professionalism, flexibility and amazing talent made our photos everything we hoped for and more to document our special day.

I’m Sara, a wedding and elopement photographer based in Watertown, NY. My moody, editorial photography style captures authentic, emotional moments. I serve couples across Northern New York, including the Thousand Islands and Adirondacks

Awarded Best of Zola
My experience with Butterfly photography is really good. Our first consultation was so informative. She really wanted to get to know us and what we like/ don't like with photos. At our wedding day she came prepared with different props for our rings and detailed shots. She had so many ideas for the family photos and she got them done very quickly. Which I was shocked because we have such a big family. Her and her assistant are amazing at what they do. I would recommend this photographer to anyone who is getting married in the Thousand Islands NY

Christopher Duggan Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,950
  • Serves Pottersville, NY

In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Awarded Best of Zola
We chose Christopher to photograph and videograph our sangeet celebration rather last minute as we were busy planning everything else, so it was quite a relief and so helpful to see how swiftly he communicated with us and delivered on such wonderful memories. Christopher was amazing to work with - as we had wanted, the posed photos were quick (yet came out incredible). We asked him to focus on the celebration and dancing and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We highly recommend Christopher -- thank you for making our evening so special!!

Portraits By Sean

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Pottersville, NY

I present fun, elegant, and exciting Wedding Photography for my clients. My style is photojournalistic; I feel it's the most effective way to tell a story. After all, there is so much happening on a wedding day. Between the ceremony, dancing, and endless extravaganzas, the most memorable moments will naturally occur.  My goal is to capture the emotions and memories of your day through my lens. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. I appreciate you for giving me a few moments of your time.t

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I were from out of town and hired Sean to photograph us at a Christmas gala at the place we got married. He was accommodating to last minute changes to make the most of the session and even went above and beyond to make it happen. Upon first impression, he was upbeat and had a vision. We were outside in sub 30 degree weather with fading evening light as well as low light inside a building and he was up for the challenge. We ended up with beautiful images in less than ideal conditions and that is what makes a great photographer. Sean has a sense of humor and an eye for that perfect photograph. He was fun to work with and his heart for people and creativity shows through. Thank you Sean for capturing this time in our lives.

Ali Cushing Photography

My name is Ali Cushing, a NY-based photographer, working near and far, capturing life, love, and letting people be themselves. My goal first and foremost is contributing to you having a wonderful experience and getting to live in the moment; making the photos about the day and not the day about the photos. I approach each opportunity with personalized care and whatever your photographic goals and day's plans, I’d love to be a part of and to document your story. All couples of all genders, ethnicities, ages, faiths, shapes and abilities, are more than welcome.

Awarded Best of Zola
I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Ali! She reached out to me on Zola and I am so glad she did. I was impressed with her portfolio and I really loved seeing how she would capture little moments in the weddings she had done. We set up a video call before booking and we clicked. She is very calm and helped with my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with us on a payment plan and she was always very quick to respond to any of my questions. She really listened to what we wanted. She got to the venue early to scout out different shots and came to check in with me a couple of times before we even began taking photos, which I did not expect but was very sweet and considerate of her. When we were taking photos, she really helped to guide the more “posed” photos but she also captured a lot of beautiful candid moments. We had so many guests come up to us and compliment her and that was before we even got the photos back. She sent us our sneak peeks the next day and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. She captured so many beautiful moments and her style is exactly what we wanted. Nothing felt “overly edited” just perfectly genuine. I cannot recommend Ali enough. I cannot wait to see the full gallery of photos because I know they will be nothing short of perfect.

PictureMeThisByLacie

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Pottersville, NY

My husband is my second photographer, so we come as a photo team! Just like you, I have felt awkward in front of the camera. I’ve had photos taken of me that I didn’t like. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving so you look and feel natural and comfortable. I’m sorry but there are some angles, and poses that are not flattering for everyone. Like, please don’t take a photo of me from below! Hello double chin! What I’m saying is, I Got You!

Awarded Best of Zola
Lacie captured moments that took my breath away. Her style and skill is every bride’s dream. She delivers everything you adore from those Pinterest and Instagram wedding photos. So there is no question she can deliver what she is looking for. And we are beyond thrilled with all of our photos. The sneak peeks are also so much fun (she sends a batch of photos shortly after she shoots you). But where Lacie shines and what I have to tell you about is everything else. She truly went above and beyond. She’s not just a photographer, she’ll be one of your favorite people on your special day. Yes, Lacie is kind and friendly and comforting and just the kind of person you need on your wedding day (and who you wished you roomed with in college). But she is so much more. Here are just some of the few meaningful things Lacie did that I noticed that I’ll forever carry with me. Firstly, I had a very important rosary I wanted to photograph, and with the chaos, I had forgotten. It would have broken my heart if I left it behind. Lacie remembered. I got fixated on an insignificant hiccup on my wedding day that could have ruined my day. Lacie redirected my attention to the things that really mattered and brightened up my mood immediately. Leading up to the wedding, Lacie advocated for me and my husband ensuring us she was fully dedicated to only us on the day, literally saying “You and Sean are my priority.” Nobody and nothing would take her attention away from us. She was always quick to respond to texts, I could go to her for quick wedding advice, and she’s genuinely so passionate about her craft. Lacie could really be a wedding planner with how much she knows. Other vendors loved working with her, especially our videographers. She was so quick, efficient, and took initiative. She gave them space and skillfully took turns capturing moments with them. With a big wedding party and spacious venue, we kept losing track of people for pictures, Lacie corralled them masterfully. She’s not afraid to get people to focus and get the photos done, but also in the most polite and respectful way. I watched videos of brides saying I wish this or that moment was captured. Sometimes I’d forget whether I had those moments captured myself. Then I go to Lacie’s photos and every single thing that brides mentioned got missed by their photographer she captured for me. Her vibe! She’s so positive and cheery. I was so nervous and also worried about how dark my church was. She got me excited about it after turning it into a positive saying it would look like the theater and she could absolutely work with it. I texted her a shoot list the night before our wedding. She carried that around and took it so seriously making sure she captured everything I listed. I made a Pinterest board of photos I liked and she remembered ones I forgot I included in there. She was my favorite vendor (tied with my incredible florist @dazyflorals) and the vendor I had no worries about it. I didn’t have to check in with her. I could trust her with my eyes closed. She’d be where she needed to be on time, professional, and prepared. I’m going to miss her. Sign her and soak up her sunshine for me, will ya?

My bridesmaids from Long Island were joking that Rob better make room in his schedule and travel down to Long Island for their future weddings haha When looking for a wedding photographer, he is definitely worth the money!! Thalia Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $9,000
  • Serves Pottersville, NY

Thalia is a NYC & destination wedding photographer based in Queens, NY. Being the lead photographer and owner of her business, she has 10 years of experience capturing engaged couples. She has developed a keen eye for detail, leaving couples with intentional photographs that capture the authenticity of their wedding day. A New York native, she grew up on Long Island for many years where she received her BFA in Visual Arts from SUNY Old Westbury and now - if she's not traveling - you can find her enjoying a new coffee shop or re-watching The Office!

Awarded Best of Zola
I met Thalia in a professional setting and after meeting her, we connected on social media and for YEARS I knew I wanted to work with her in some capacity (ideally my wedding :)). Fast forward to getting engaged this year, I had the opportunity to hire her to photograph our city hall wedding. The photographs were everything I imagined and more but what was even better was experiencing what being in front of her camera felt like. She truly has a gift for making you feel comfortable, forget that she’s there, while still providing guidance when needed. Thalia is quick on her feet and knew how to maximize our time with her when plans on our timeline had to shift a little. She asked important questions prior to our ceremony and offered great suggestions when we needed them. She also offered solutions when I got a little carried away with my vision and started dreaming up a photo shoot that would just push our time limits (which I appreciated). If you love her work and her images, I promise you won’t regret your decision of hiring her!

Hiring Carly and Casey was one of our best wedding decisions. I could rave about their photos and videos, but their work speaks for itself. They managed to capture every detail of our wedding—location, small details, and most importantly the emotions of the day. Nothing was missed. BUT, when you hire Drzazga Photo, you’re hiring them for a lot more than just their amazing photos and videos-- Something I didn't realize was so important until the day of our wedding. Carly and Casey come prepared, organized, and with years of experience. They scoped out the venue prior to our arrival and knew exactly where we should go for family photos and bridal portraits based on the lighting and given timeline. This cut down on SO MUCH potential chaos. We decided to follow their advice on photo location, and definitely did not regret it. They know what they are doing. They are efficient and knew exactly what shots they wanted for both photos and video. There was minimal time spent on “posing” photos which allowed for so many more photos in our gallery and more time for us to enjoy our families. So, hire them, fully trust them, and you will NOT be disappointed.

She honed her craft at the San Francisco Art Institute, where she developed a distinctive style that merges fine-art composition with a candid, documentary approach. The result? Honest, artful imagery that tells your story exactly as it felt.

Awarded Best of Zola
Dani and I have known each other for 15 years, which is wild within itself. I’ve watched her photography journey for a long long time. Which is why the second we got engaged I KNEW we would hire her. We had an engagement shoot, as well as an “our day” vow shoot. Let me tell you, my husband and I are very much “guide us and we’ll follow” people. We’re indecisive, we’re go with the flow people, and that’s not always easy to work with. Dani from day one has guided us and taken care of EVERYTHING. From giving us options/ideas and brainstorming, to nailing the plans in place once we decided what we wanted to do. We had our vow day shoot in the Dolomites in Italy. Sebastian and I have never traveled like that together and Dani literally planned everything including what hike we were taking and timelined everything out. Which is exactly what we explained we needed and were looking for when working with her. She took everything we wanted and what we explained we wanted each experience to be like, and she nailed it. Nailed the photos. Nailed the locations. Nailed being an all around fantastic and easy person to work with. She also stayed in contact with us throughout the entire 2 years we have been planning together. She was our cheerleader, our planner, our listening ear, without a doubt I would recommend her to everyone and anyone. Not to mention these photos are to die for, and everyone is obsessed!

Eddie, our lead photographer, was one of the best parts of our special day. He was extremely organized and helped lay out the timeline perfectly, and he was so thoughtful - he even had extra bobby pins on hand when my hair needed a touch-up, and he helped the groomsmen with their boutonnieres at the church. Hey- I'm Nicole. When I'm not working with the raddest couples I'm typically brewery hopping with my wife, or home spending time with my three dogs. I live for SU basketball, and love just about any other Syracuse sports team (Crunch, Mets - count me in). I have been photographing weddings for over ten years, and in that time have had the opportunity to travel around the world and meet tons of new friends.

My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. From start to finish we knew we were in good hands as Nicole was prepared and professional. She made sure to capture every single photo that we had listed on the helpful form she sent to us prior to our event. We just received our wedding photos the other day and we are blown away by both the quantity and quality of photos. Nicole delivered us tons of gorgeous photos that truly showcase the entire day. We have received so many compliments on them so far and we’re so excited to hang them up in our house. Nicole was so kind and fun to work with. I would definitely, definitely recommend her as your photographer!

Hi friend! I'm Becca. Ever since I was little, I wanted to listen to others stories and share them with others. As a result of a college photography class that I loved and my dad's love of nature photography, I was gifted a camera after graduation, and I never stopped! I started taking photos at a performing arts center and became mesmerized with capturing joy. I have been in the wedding industry since I was fourteen and have been taking photos professionally since 2019.

I cannot GUSH enough about Becca. She was hands down the MVP of our wedding day. In the midst of wedding planning busyness, Becca led a thorough meeting with us (the couple) going over the day-of schedule, and covering an exhaustive comprehensive list of all possible photos, helping us prioritize the ones we needed and letting go of those that may have ended up stressing us out to try to take! She made sure to be sensitive to all our hopes for photos, family dynamics, and more. I (the bride) was sick on the wedding day and had to make some adjustments to the day-of schedule, and Becca not only adjusted with such grace and flexibility, but also offered great game-time ideas to make sure we got all the photos we wanted with even less time! During the wedding, Becca stayed even longer than scheduled, was so patient but commanding with getting family photos organized, and stayed in the background throughout the day even though she was right by my (the bride!) side getting the best candid photos. That way, I was able to feel supported AND even more relaxed, she was so nimble, positive, and masterful. As I’ve said since the beginning of working with her, she is simply the BEST.

Hullo! So you're gettin' hitched (YaaY!), but you’re not super into the idea of the overly-manicured wedding. A+ for you, because this is not your parents’ wedding photography. I'm a farm kid who floats between the journalism and art worlds. I love telling stories as much as I love listening to the stories of others. I’m the type of person who makes up musicals for my own amusement and nurses a soft spot for sci-fi and fantasy. If I’m not taking photos, I’m usually dancing. Or cooking. It’s possible I may have a baking addiction and try to mitigate the damage by forcing the goods on loved ones.

As two film/media people, we were fairly exacting in finding our wedding photographer. Because of Celia's incredible documentary background and the color, energetic joy and intimacy of her work, she immediately rocketed to the top of our list. Our communication was personal and engaging from the jump, and when we met for engagement photos we immediately clicked - Celia is "my people" and we knew we'd be in good hands on our wedding day. Every interaction we had with Celia was just tops. Talent, sure. That goes without saying, but even more than that, Celia and her second shooter Sarah brought incredible energy to our day - full of curiosity and humor. They were patient, focused, and such a well oiled machine. Every image was true and unique and magnificent and alive. The photos are so dynamic and capture the essence of the relationships (ours and others) throughout the day and the uniqueness of the light, warmth and uh, overwhelming number of guests. We received a boatload of astounding images and were just thrilled to have worked with such a tremendous professional and artist. If you want a joyful professional with a careful eye to capture your day from teary prep to the middle of the dance floor - go with The Lovely Lens! Ten stars out of five.

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements and lakeside wedding bashes to hiking engagements to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York + California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, & candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few unique shots on top of it all.

We cannot recommend Kathryn enough! First (and most obvious) (and also most important) point is that the photos she took were incredible. She captured our night beautifully. More than that though, she captured how the night felt. The photos weren't overly posy, but rather showed off how much fun and excitement there was for the entire night. I think one of the best things I can say about Kathryn is that she really made a point of figuring out HOW we wanted her to photograph the wedding and delivered. As I wrote above, we wanted the photographs to look great, but mostly just capture how the wedding felt and she delivered on that 100%. Also, as much as she made sure we were leading all the decision making, she really knew her stuff and took things off of our plate where we could. We knew how we wanted the photos to look generally, but neither of us are photographers. So we talked to her about style and vibe and she really took it from there. She was an absolute professional, a great person to work with, and kind and caring. We felt like we were in great hands every step of the way. Truly cannot recommend her enough.

Photographing weddings and elopements is a privilege that I do not take lightly. I treat each moment with as much care as if it were my own! While I am happy to take on weddings of any size, I specialize in intimate weddings or engagement sessions where I can embrace a documentary, candid approach. My favorite moments to capture are those quiet, unplanned interactions. I adore the small details. The moments that sometimes get overlooked but often times help tell the story of your wedding day the most. I thrive with couples who aren’t afraid to be silly and embrace the moments as they come as opposed to forcing it.

Sydney was a dream to work with for our wedding! She is so kind and easy-going, she instantly eased all of my wedding day anxieties. She truly does it all and was essential in making our day run smoothly. From fixing my veil, to bustling my dress, and wrangling up our wedding party all while getting fantastic photos. She really is so talented at what she does by capturing all of the in-between, authentic moments that you want to remember forever. Our photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined and are so timeless, we will cherish them for the rest of our lives. We couldn’t recommend her enough not only because of her beautiful work but for the person that she is!!!
