“Kastina Morrison is the epitome of event excellence. We hired Kastina & Co. for day-of (really, month-of) wedding coordination for our outdoor ceremony at a non-traditional farm venue. Kastina dove right in, offering a curated list of 5-star vendors, brainstorming for decor, and setting several meetings to keep things on track. We had a lot of cannabis elements (a very new thing in Minnesota), but Kastina was able to help us find the right partners to stay compliant and classy. The best part, aside from Kastina’s immensely positive and creative spirit, is her organizational skills. She created many invaluable documents, including an incredibly detailed run-of-show that outlined our wedding down to the minute. Every single person, whether it was a vendor, a wedding party person, or a family member, knew precisely where they needed to be when. This document alone was worth its weight in gold as it allowed me (the bride) to enjoy my special day, and helped ease the mind of my anxious MIL (not an easy feat). On the day of, Kastina and her team worked their tails off to ensure things went off without a hitch - including repairing a wind-damaged tent. It could have spelled disaster for our reception, but somehow Kastina saved the day. And I didn’t even know it happened until the very end of the night. She’s just that good. “As You Wish Wedding Coordination: Perfection from the start! We used them for day-of coordination and Morgan was responsive and helpful for months leading up the the wedding. She helped us with hotel blocks at close by hotels for those who didn’t want to stay at the Pfister. She answered my decor questions, have advice on how to proceed with some things we weren’t sure of, created our morning and afternoon timeline and helped tweak the evening timeline, and set up everything perfectly on the day of! She truly made our vision come to life! She picked up our lunch for the wedding party, she pulled a sewing kit out of her back side when the bride’s dress ripped 30 minutes before walking the aisle, she cleaned the entire reception, put all decor back in the bins and had it all back in our hotel room before we even got back from the after party! As the mother of the bride and the main wedding planner up until wedding day, it was so beautiful to enjoy the day with my daughter and not worry about anything. Morgan brought Brandi along to assist her and I love that we had two people there to get it all done (plus our florists and hotel coordinator!) Highly recommend As You Wish! 15/10!!!!”

With two very different ceremonies in one day, in one venue, with almost two hundred guests several other vendors and their teams, there was a *lot* to coordinate. Kari was at the center ensuring everything went as smoothly as possible. We had monthly scheduled check-ins with her to discuss progress as we neared the wedding day and I never felt rushed or stressed. “We shopped around a bit for a planner before landing on McKayla and her team over at Shaded Spruce Events. Even though we only booked the partial planning package, it felt as if we had a full planner on our side. McKayla made an effort to meet us on our level and elevate ALL of our ideas into a reality. McKayla took most of the logistical planning out of our hands, which allowed us to focus on the fun things. She also helped us settle on and refine the design of the event, and she gave really great ideas that we probably wouldn't have though of on our own. Her recommendations for vendors was also super helpful, and we were very pleased with the ones that we booked. She quickly figured out what we were looking for and how we operated and catered the planning to fit what we needed. With our package, we were also able to utilize a lot of additional decor and services that Shaded Spruce provides, which really added to the overall design of the event. On the big day, we didn't see much of McKayla and her team beyond what was needed, but we knew they were working hard to make the day perfect because the day went perfectly from our perspective! Not only did the event look perfect, we were also extremely satisfied with McKayla and her team's communication. “Working with Sarah as our planner was one of the best wedding decisions we made. What really stood out was how she brought our vision to life without blowing up our budget...and while we weren't working with an extremely lavish amount Sarah was still able to create something beautiful that blew us all away.
