About Ackin Events
Sammy Larkin
Ackin Events plans weddings for Type-A couples across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota who already know what they want and need a partner who matches that, then goes further. We ask the questions you haven't thought to ask yet, in every planning meeting, so nothing gets missed on your wedding day. Full Service Planning & Design, Partial Planning, and Wedding Management are all built around the same four month runway before your wedding: details, timeline, decor, venue walkthrough, final check. Your only job on wedding day is to get married.
We're built for couples who already think in details, not couples who need everything simplified for them. One client told us we had answers before she even asked the question. Our production schedules are granular down to when chargers hit the table. We start Wedding Management clients four months out, not the industry standard six to eight weeks. Every package includes setup and teardown, and every lead takes one wedding per weekend, always.

The best decision I made for my wedding!
Sammy and the team at Ackin Events made planning our wedding so much easier than we expected. As someone who tends to just go with the flow, I really appreciated how responsive she was to every question and concern I had along the way. She knows exactly what she's doing and kept us organized without making us feel stressed or overwhelmed. The attention to detail in every aspect of our day was incredible, and it honestly felt like the best investment we made for the wedding. Our day turned out even better than we imagined, and there is absolutely no way we would have pulled it off without Sammy's guidance and expertise. We can't recommend Ackin Events enough!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator. From the very beginning, it was clear how invested Sammy was in making sure our special day was exactly the way we envisioned it.
