I cannot recommend Katie and her team at Wildflower Elegant Events enough. I also want to start this review by saying that I didn't even think I needed a coordinator. My husband brought it up, and I was like "I don't think we need one, I've got all the planning down", but then he brought up all the reasons that a day of coordinator would be helpful. Let me just say - it was the best decision we ever made!!! I don't even know what I would have done without her. She was so helpful from beginning to end and was SO much more than just a "Day of" wedding coordinator, she helped throughout the months leading up to the wedding, around the time I was so overwhelmed with planning and helped me with things I would never have even thought about. Once we agreed we needed a coordinator, I had talked to/had consultations with a lot of people, and going with Katie was the best choice I made for my wedding day. She was in our budget/price range and from our first "consultation" I could just tell that she was the right choice. It felt right away that she CARED, and I wasn't going to just be a number for her. I also wanted to find someone who had experience with Jewish weddings, and although she did have some experience with less traditional Jewish weddings, I could tell that she was going to really learn and do the wedding right (ours was a fairly traditional Conservative Jewish wedding). Needless to say, my intuition was right and she learned everything she could about the traditions we wanted to honor. Leading up to the wedding, I was struggling finding a few vendors, and was extremely anxious about it, but she helped me to find a make up artist and a baker for the cake, and both ended up being AMAZING finds. She helped me finalize and curate our timeline to perfection and communicated it to all of our other vendors, and then made sure we stuck to that timeline on the day of. She gave me advice and told me about things I wouldn't have even thought about. I filled out a little intake form with what my vision was for the wedding and she made sure it came to life to perfection. She made sure all of the traditional Jewish activities we wanted were incorporated into the timeline, and made sure the day went by seamlessly. She coordinated with all the vendors to make sure everything looked and felt exactly as we had envisioned it. She also was there for me on the day of. If I had an issue or problem, a wardrobe malfunction (my dress ripped and she had a needle and thread ready to go!), was hungry or needed a drink, was frustrated because people weren't where they needed to be before the ceremony, whatever little thing it was, she was there to fix every problem if they arose. Katie was also just a great friend and hype woman throughout the whole day. She made me feel so great and beautiful, and truly was there for me from beginning to end. If you have any doubts or questions about hiring a wedding coordinator, let me just tell you that choosing Katie and Wildflower Elegant Events is choosing an option that will make your wedding planning and wedding day stress-free and PERFECT.

We don’t often write reviews, but Linsey, Leah, and Martina were too incredible to not leave one. Linsey and Leah explained their attention to detail and years of experience that has shaped how they coordinate a wedding and we felt so at ease with their guidance. We got married in July 2025 at the Athenaeum at Caltech in Los Angeles where they’d worked before. Linsey joined us for a session in person at our venue and had such valuable insight. Our best wedding decision was asking her last minute to help coordinate our Indian welcome party of 200 guests and our only wedding regret was not booking them for a longer period! Their swift decision-making and organization was stellar: they printed schedules for our bridal party, caught a huge seating chart snafu day-of and fixed it on their own, used the emergency kit to sew a button that unexpectedly popped off a tux or bribe the ring bearer with a fruit snack, and remembered my veil which I’d forgotten in the rush!! They navigated assertive parents involved with planning with unflustered supervision and knew how to deescalate smoothly. I’ve seen other wedding planners refuse to do many tasks, so I remember being so grateful seeing Linsey help steam my wedding gown on her knees, constantly bring us food and water, and even put all our belongings in the bridal suite at the end of the night together for us to leave the venue without having to pack up - something so often overlooked. Our guests are still raving about how professional, helpful, and kind they were and how seamlessly the weekend was because of them! Most of all, they are kind, compassionate people who know how to get the job done while being a total joy to work with, which is critical as you spend the most amount of your wedding day with them by your side! We highly recommend The Double Knot- booking them was the BEST decision of our wedding.

Brittney was amazing! So we started our wedding planning journey by spending TWO, just TWO days trying to save money and do it ourselves, and by the second day our heads were hurting and we were exhausted. We gave in and decided to search for a wedding planner. We tried over a few days, and she was the third and final interview. We booked her that night! She was SO professional and worth the investment! Before we had even paid her, the night we booked her, she even messaged a venue for us that we had already booked but changed our minds about! Brittney was so efficient, we booked her at the end of January of 2022, by mid February she already found and helped us book our ideal venue, by the beginning of March she booked our photographer! By mid-April, she helped me find and design my dream wedding dress all in one visit! In-between, we had all the big and small details done, and our wedding wasn’t going to be until November! She even helped us find an all-inclusive venue to have our secret ceremony before the big wedding, and kept it a secret the whole time! She was even so gracious and patient with us during difficult seasons in our personal lives, and help take on difficult dealings with the venue, as well as when we ended up pushing our wedding out to the following year instead of the year we originally wanted. She listens to your vision, executes it without fail, and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to making sure your event is exactly what you want, even down to ensuring you’re getting your money’s worth with vendors and overseeing if you’re being overcharged. She truly builds her business in caring about the level of service she provides, making everything leading up to and including your special day as stress-free as possible. Even on the wedding day when I as the bride was feeling down, she sat with me as a friend and helped encourage me throughout the moments leading up to me walking down the aisle. We already told her to get ready to plan our vow renewal in a few years, as well as any other events we wanna do! Brittney was not only the BEST professionally and worth the investment, but in the process, she has become a true personal friend that we still talk to, who we value and care for. Working with Megan as our day-of-coordinator was the smartest thing we did for our wedding!! Everything ran perfectly during the wedding that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Megan was organized to a tee and was so sweet to check on us and bring drinks or anything we needed. And magically she set up all our decor before the event beautifully with boxes and boxes of stuff to work with! If you are unsure if you need a coordinator, I would 1000% recommend working with Megan.

Where do I even start. My original wedding planned bailed two days before and Bre stepped in and never missed a beat. She got write to work and pulled information and materials together like we had been working together all year. I was able to full unplug which was the best gift of all. And if all of that isn’t enough she’s also a total hype girl! She will get out on the dance floor if it needs life and she will guard you and your groom while you eat. She’s also incredibly creative — she even hand-made beautiful pieces for me that made the day feel so personal. Working with Hannah was one of the best parts of our wedding planning experience. We hired her for partial planning, and from the very beginning, she made everything feel so manageable and stress-free. She really took the time to understand our preferences and helped us find the perfect vendors that matched our vision and vibe. Hannah was always organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Whether it was hopping on frequent Zoom calls, keeping us on track with timelines, or replying to texts with thoughtful advice (even for the tiniest of questions). Her calm and kind energy made the whole process not only smoother but also more fun. One huge bonus: her team also offers wedding rentals! We rented candles, décor, and a large seating chart from them, which was such a lifesaver. We didn’t want to deal with sourcing all of those items or figuring out what to do with them afterward, so being able to rent directly through her made everything so much easier. Our wedding day went so smoothly, nothing went wrong (or if it did, I had no idea, because Hannah was on top of everything!). I wouldn't change a single thing about it. It was truly perfect, and a big part of that is thanks to her. Now that the wedding is over, I honestly feel sad I won’t get to work with Hannah anymore! I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! I don’t even know where to begin. I am so pleased I went with Patrice and her team as my day of coordinator. She also did a lot more than just day of! She made plans for us and talked to all of the vendors, conducted our rehearsal, worked with the venue, and took care of all those nitty gritty details. I’m pretty type A and was probably emailing her more than I should have for only choosing the day of package (lol), but she always responded promptly and kindly to every little thing I had to say. Her team was so nice and so professional and they really made me feel like they cared about my wedding - like it was more than just the next job they had. My only regret was not hiring them sooner - I could have saved myself a lot of time and energy. Thank you Patrice and team. There are not enough words in the English dictionary to describe how wonderful Joey is. Not only is she the kindest woman you will ever meet, but you will never feel like "just another client" when you're with her. She listens to your individuality and embraces your ideas to create your own one-of-a-kind dream wedding. She takes the time and works hard in every single aspect of her craft -- it truly is amazing to have an artist that took the time to wrap 200 twinkle light strands with over 50 6 ft. fall leaf garlands and tie them up on the ceiling, all because I (the bride) wanted to feel like I was in an autumn rustic, twinkle light heaven. Hiring her is the best thing we did for our wedding. Not only did we have the wedding of our dreams, but we walked away with a lifelong friend. To hire Joey is to know your wedding or event will go off without a hitch. Trust me, just look at these photos!
