Her motto — which you’ll hear a lot — is “we can do that!” Just one small example of many: I procrastinated on getting a hairstylist only to finally do a trial and realize I really didn’t like the result. Without even being asked, Stacy immediately jumped in and found multiple incredible hairstylists, even reaching out to confirm their availability and pricing. I’ve had so many people compliment me on the wedding, specifically how thoughtful and well-executed it was. Almost every single one of them has mentioned Stacy. “I wish I could rate Shining Time Wedding more than 5 stars! They were BY FAR the best vendor we worked with for our wedding. Our planner, Rina, was incredible from the very beginning. Even before we booked a venue, I knew choosing the right planner would be the most important decision for our wedding, and it was so important to find someone who understood my vision. The fact that they also excel at florals was an amazing bonus. “Mari is IT. My husband and I met with a handful of coordinators who all seemed qualified and capable, but none that seemed to vibe with our energy UNTIL we met Mari! Right away she was calming and tuned in and warm. She felt like someone we would hang out with but then make that person an organizational wizard.As first time wedders, who had never imagined a specific wedding day aesthetic or theme, we would frequently worry this whole thing might not come together. But IT DID under Mari's expert guidance! And not only was it a big success (imo) she also never made us feel dumb or wrong or like bad engaged people for breaking tradition or for asking if we need Welcome signs. Mari was very good about holding us to our deadlines but not hounding us. When we felt like we were months behind she assured us we were in a good place.And then the day of the wedding, Mari and Anjeanette, were like the 1992 US Men's Olympic basketball team! Just two pros moving seamlessly, never missing. If we had a question, they had the answer before we asked. “We hired Ashley as our month of coordinator and we could not have been happier! Brandy and her team did an excellent job pivoting the morning of our ceremony when the ground was still too wet from recent rainfall and called for a new setup. Additionally, Brandy and her team were kind and engaging with my whole family and our guests, generously brought votive candles and a portable karaoke machine microphones, checked in and regularly offered support, and deftly handled setup and coordination of vendors across three locations on our wedding day. “We hired Meghan Farrar as our day of coordinator for our April wedding at Rust Manor and would highly recommend couples hire her. From the very start, Meghan made us feel like we were her only clients. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and her organization skills were truly next level. Meghan was an organized, kind, reassuring voice for us while planning the wedding. She was also the only coordinator to let us know Virginia’s residency requirement regarding officiants. Meghan was super familiar with Rust Manor. In the countdown to our wedding, Meghan checked in to make sure things were going well, answer any questions we have, and organize us for the walkthrough. Though we hired Meghan primarily for the day of our wedding, she was available to us throughout the planning process. In the month run up to our wedding, Meghan greatly assisted us in organizing the little details of the day and coordinating with our vendors, many of whom had worked previously with her and were excited to work with her again. Prior to our wedding, Meghan coordinated with our various POCs for vendors and the venue, making sure they knew who to reach out to on the day of our wedding and the timing of the day. “Courtney review Courtney was the coordinator for our Sunday afternoon wedding at Patterson Mansion in Dupont Circle. From the moment we met, her joyful energy exuded from her and I knew that she would do everything she could to ensure we felt the same way. And she way over delivered! Courtney was organized and extremely communicative with us and our vendors. She had a clear sequence of agenda items for our check ins and was always on time and prepared. This was all wonderful and set a strong foundation for the day of. Courtney truly went above and beyond on wedding day. She set up the room more beautifully than I ever could have hoped for and brought tears to my eyes. She handled unexpected guests with calm and poise and ensured everyone had a place to be and a meal to eat. I’m sure many brides understand that I was about to lose my mind, but Courtney just had it. She made it happen and I didn’t have to think about it at all. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and so much of that is thanks to Courtney’s presence, organization, energy, and kindness.
