I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. I've been passionate about documenting and creating since I was a little girl running wild in the suburbs of St. Paul. I would steal my parent's film camera and take dozens (okay maybe hundreds) of blurry photos of our dog. In high school, I spent babysitting money on a polaroid and then finally my beloved point and shoot, which was my favorite accessory for a night out! I was gifted my first DSLR in my early twenties, and that changed the way I looked at the role photography played in my life.
