Bonnie has had a camera in her hands since high school. What began as a quiet fascination with documenting life turned into a calling when she photographed her first wedding in 2017. Bonnie believes that some of the most meaningful moments in life are often the most fleeting, but photography gives us the rare gift of remembering them forever. Her approach centers on presence over perfection, leaving room for genuine laughter, quiet tenderness, and unscripted joy to unfold naturally. Her mission is to document your most cherished memories - the joy, the vulnerability, the celebration - to create photographs that become lasting heirlooms.

At home in Minneapolis, Bonnie can usually be found hanging out with her sweet & silly two-year-old and her neuroscientist husband. In her free time she loves antiquing and tending to the garden. Motherhood has deepened her appreciation for the passage of time and reinforced her belief in the power of photographs. She feels incredibly grateful to spend her days documenting the beauty of love and stories that last for generations.

LOVE!
Bonnie is such a gem, we had so much fun working with her! During our engagement shoot and wedding day, we were constantly laughing and just having a ball, she made us feel completely comfortable. Bonnie is chill, down-to-earth, friendly, and so much fun. She had great suggestions and was down with our ideas, too. We're extremely appreciative of her communication, transparency, and flexibility, and we can't wait to hopefully work with her again for family photos! Could not recommend her highly enough, she's the best!

Beautiful photos
I found Bonnie on Instagram and fell in love with her photograph style. She was wonderful for our engagement photos, and we are so excited to see the rest of our wedding photos. She was able to drive several hours to meet us, since our venue wasn't in her home base, for an additional reasonable charge. She was kind and fun, putting us at ease while getting our photos taken (we are not used to it at all!). She even helped us incorporate some of our ideas about playing games and reading books during our photoshoot and was very encouraging and accommodating. She made sure our photos didn't look posed, and captured many genuine laughs and smiles. Her photos are warm and colorful, without washed out skies or whites. We highly recommend Bonnie if you are looking for a photographer!

Highly Recommend
Bonnie documented our wedding Oct '22, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Communication and planning leading up to the event was timely, clear and simple. Her cool, calm manner made us all feel at ease and the candids that Bonnie grabbed between moments are some of our favorite shots. My husband and I are not particularly comfortable in front of a lens, but we love the way she was able to capture our personalities on camera. We are so grateful to have had Bonnie at our wedding, and would highly recommend her services.

A wonderful photographer
I've had the pleasure of working with Bonnie several times in the last year with her as my second shooter. She is on time, friendly, and a great person to work with. Bonnie is the BEST!
We are SO glad we hired Bonnie for both our engagement & wedding photos! Not only are her pictures gorgeous, fun, and full of natural personality, but she is just a total joy to work with! We were both a little nervous being in front of the camera, but Bonnie made us completely comfortable to be ourselves and made it feel like we were just hangin' with a pal. Our entire family loved her too! She was fun, friendly, respectful, and super great at her job. We all secretly wish we could be friends with Bonnie cause she's one super cool lady and an amazingly skilled photographer! Highly recommend!
