    Best photographer !

    Taber did our engagement and wedding photos and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Not only were the photos beautiful, she was so awesome to work with. She came all the way to Chicago for our engagement photos which was an unexpected plus that we greatly appreciated. She was very helpful during the whole process from booking to the wedding day. My husband and I are not very experienced with taking photos, but Taber instructed us the whole way which we loved! She always got us to laugh with her duck sound and creative ways to get us comfortable. We highly recommend Taber and will cherish our photos forever. Hope we get you use her again for future sessions!

    Dream team

    We are beyond thrilled with our experience with Taber! Our engagement shoot was so fun and memorable, especially when we ended the shoot running into freezing Lake Michigan. From start to finish, she was professional and fun, making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera.     Taber was my photographer for my wedding this past weekend, 5/24/2025. Words cannot describe how amazing of a person she is and how amazing she is at her job. My entire bridal party and all of the guests loved her. Her attention to detail and ability to command the room in a kind and soft way is truly amazing. She gave us a 90 photo slideshow during the reception for us to go through and for a few seconds I thought it was not us because of how surreal the photos looked like. We just got our wedding picture preview (see on instagram!) and I cried my eyes out going through the photos because of how amazing they are. It's safe to say that it's truly indescribable the feeling that her photos give me and you would be remiss to not hire her.

    Taber is a dream to work with! We hired her for our wedding April 2025 and our package came with an engagement shoot, which we were super glad we did. It was the perfect chance to build rapport with Taber before the big day. She's great at giving direction so the pictures turn out looking absolutely effortless.

    Better than I could've ever imagined

    I could not have dreamt up a better photographer for our wedding than Taber Lacie... I don't even know where to begin. Booking her was easily the best decision we made of all our vendor choices. Her talent is just through the roof. There are certainly plenty of photographers out there who are talented and it can be tough to narrow down, but what I think separates Taber from the pack is how, in addition to being uniquely talented and passionate about her work, she is also affordable, incredibly fun to be around, and will stick around for the ENTIRE day and night. The importance of having a photographer who is laid-back, directive (in an enjoyable and super helpful way!), hilarious, and overall a joy to have with you is so underrated; it can really make or break your mood for the day since they're there, ideally, throughout every part of your day. In terms of her rates, I truly believe she could charge double what she does and still be worth every penny. The fact that she included a free engagement photo session (in part to help you ensure it's a good fit) and stayed through the reception was such a gift. That said, if I had to pinpoint one aspect of what makes Taber so special and why I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer is that she tailors her photographs to your preferences and taste. We are a huge fan of dancing photos, for example, and holy cow did she come through. She sends out a questionnaire before the big day and its purposefully lengthy so that she can be thorough and give you all exactly what you're looking for. Even if our photos aren't your taste, I highly recommend browsing her site, as her range is as remarkable as is the quality of her photographs. In short, if you book Taber, I am confident she will exceed your expectations just as she exceeded ours.
