“Zach did such an incredible job shooting our city hall wedding! Having shot several similar ceremonies in the past, he was familiar with the space, knew exactly which moments to capture and where to get the best shots, and he even got there early and saved us a spot in line. After the ceremony and group shots were done, my husband and I spent an hour adventuring around the loop with Zach to take some couples shots. He has a tremendous eye for photography locations, and he captured beautiful moments of us by the riverwalk, under the L, and inside the cultural center. The entire experience felt very natural and so fun -- it was a huge highlight of the day. He got our pictures back to us at lightning speed, and they're all gorgeous. I'd recommend him to anybody. “One of the biggest parts of a wedding day is having the memories captured in a way that allows you to be transported back. As someone who worked in a creative field, I was very picky about who would take our photos and in the end went with George Street because of the company's reputation of delivering quality photos with experienced photographers. I'm so glad we made this choice, because during our first look the weather decided to turn to a thunderstorm and it rained 1.5 inches for the next few hours. While this could be a day ruiner, we quickly pivoted and moved everything into our tent and I know that with a less experienced photographer we might not have the incredible photos we do. Josh was easy to work with, made us comfortable and went with the flow when we had ideas about shooting in the rain, getting wet and muddy. “Booking Lilly Photography for our wedding was one of the smartest decisions we could have possibly made. Even in our initial consult call with Jiho, we were very impressed with his skills. We also very much appreciated the logic behind his pricing structure--we had a small wedding but still needed full day coverage, so we were able to book collection 2 but remove the second shooter. After we booked, the timing just worked out that we had our engagement session 5 months before our wedding at the Morton Arboretum, which is not a particular scenic time of year (I have to stress, this date was our choice!), but Jiho was able to take some gorgeous photos! We loved sharing those photos, and it gave us so much confidence that he would knock it out of the park for our wedding. Everything on wedding day was absolutely seamless--Jiho was super efficient with the getting ready/first look photos, and we stayed on schedule. The ceremony photos are gorgeous, and I especially love that in some of the photos I am able to see my personality in so many of the photos (I had initially felt worried that the photos wouldn't look like "me"). After the ceremony, the family and bridal party photos were very thorough AND efficient, and I'm so grateful that we have all the different perturbations of family members--all the other weddings I have been in have not been able to do that. It was quite hot and buggy when we took the photos, but absolutely none of that came through in what Jiho captured (which is honestly incredible!). The cocktail hour and reception photos are so fun, and Jiho was able to capture absolutely everything. After the wedding, we got our gallery in 3 weeks, and we haven't been able to stop smiling as we keep looking at the photos. We are so grateful and so thankful we worked with Jiho!! 10/10 would recommend!”

They feel like close friends by the end of the day. I am documentary-style, in that I never stop shooting. While I help with posing during portrait sessions to make sure you look your best, I also love capturing the laughter of guests, the teary-eyed parents, the flower girl running up to you and hugging you at first sight, the tiny details, the real smiles you share with your spouse + the quiet, intimate moments between you two throughout the day.

“I looked at a LOT of wedding photographers. There are a lot of people out there who do beautiful photos, but none really felt like a fit for us -- either the photo style was moodier/sexier than I thought we could pull off, or the price was too steep for the amount of hours we wanted to have the photographer available, or photos felt too “posed” and cookie-cutter. Then we found Randy. The first thing I noticed about Randy’s portfolio is that people were smiling and laughing. You’d be surprised how few photographers feature photos that look joyful! The second thing I noticed is that photos weren’t all the same; different couples had different looks and styles. I felt like I was learning something about the couple by their photos. When we contacted Randy, we discovered that his work was not only in budget, but that his pricing included a full day of wedding photos – no matter how many hours the day lasted! Our package included engagement photos, wedding photos, a small album, and we added a photobooth for the wedding day. Our engagement session and wedding ended up being two years apart (thanks, COVID) and Randy did an incredible job with both! The engagement shoot gave us a great sense of how Randy works and got us accustomed with posing. What I most appreciated was the fact that Randy caught the moments in between the poses – where my husband and I were laughing with one another or sharing a special moment. For the wedding photos, Randy joined me a little bit before 9 am and was with us until the reception ended at 11 pm! He had a second photographer there during most of that time, as well. I really wanted to capture the joy of finally being able to be together with family and getting to celebrate. After nearly three years of being engaged, I was determined to make the day as stress-free as possible and just enjoy myself. Randy picked up on our joyful, relaxed mood right off the bat and gave us the photos of our dreams! Our photos are bright and colorful (although he picks wonderful photos to do in B&W) and full of laughter, big smiles, and happy tears. Every part of the day is beautifully captured, but we are especially fond of the candid joy in our reception pictures. He got such wonderful shots of our guests that we sent everyone a photo in their thank you cards! If you want wedding photos that feel like you, your partner, and your loved ones, I cannot recommend Randy enough. He is professional, easy to work with, and so talented. We are so grateful to have found him!”
