Hi there! I'm Emily Rose, the sole photographer + editor of your wedding photos! I have been shooting weddings for a decade and love connecting with my clients as much as I love photographing them! They feel like close friends by the end of the day. I am documentary-style, in that I never stop shooting. While I help with posing during portrait sessions to make sure you look your best, I also love capturing the laughter of guests, the teary-eyed parents, the flower girl running up to you and hugging you at first sight, the tiny details, the real smiles you share with your spouse + the quiet, intimate moments between you two throughout the day.

I find it an absolute honor to photograph weddings and I value you and your guest's enjoyment and experience of the wedding day as much as I value the photos being good (and I value good photos so much). I have been told I shoot more candids of guests and family than anyone else and it's true - I am obsessed with those candid, fun, hilarious, and sometimes emotional interactions that happen in the in-between and I love telling the whole story of the day through them. And I will probably tear up any time your grandparents are around and take their photo 100 times. Wedding photos are precious time capsules.

Emily is the best!
Choosing Emily as your photographer is the best decision you can make! We recently had Emily as our photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos, and we can't recommend her enough! Outstanding Wedding Photographer
Emily was outstanding to work with! She was fabulous on our wedding day, with a keen eye for capturing the perfect shots and understanding exactly what we wanted. Her professionalism stood out, and both the sneak peek and the completed photo album were delivered incredibly quickly. We were truly impressed by the quality of the photos—she exceeded our expectations, providing an album that completely blew us away. I still can’t choose a favorite photo! We’re so glad we chose Emily and would say yes to her again in a heartbeat.

The BEST photographer we could have asked for!
Simply put, Emily was the best wedding photographer we ever could have asked for. Photo was the vendor that mattered the most to me (the bride). My dad (a hobby photographer) and I interviewed 11 photographers before settling on Emily. Before the wedding, Emily drove all the way to our venue to scope out the best locations for photos, texting me in real time to confirm that she was on the right track. I came to our pre-wedding meeting with a lot of specific information about what I wanted out of my wedding photos (lots of candid shots, certain angles I preferred, a "romantic" vibe overall). She was enthusiastic about my ideas and never made me feel like I was asking too much. When our schedule got a little thrown off, Emily rolled with the punches and made sure we still got every single shot that was important to us. She somehow simultaneously kept us moving along AND never rushed us. She and her second shooter hyped us up and made us feel so special. She had the amazing idea to pull us for a few minutes after dinner to take golden hour photos. They ended up being some of our absolute favorites. Before leaving, she double checked there weren't any additional photos we wanted. Honestly, we didn't because she'd done such a stellar job of making sure we got everything we wanted. And, of course, the photos turned out amazing beyond our wildest dreams. She captured all the best moments, from the tears to the laughter to the hugs to the kisses. Not a single thing was missed. The photos themselves are beautifully composed. I will recommend Emily to literally anyone who will listen. I just hope I can book her for all our non-wedding related photo needs in the future! Emily is the photographer of our dreams!
I have a lot to say here so let me do a TLDR: if you’re here reading this review it likely means photography is important to you. And if that is true, please just book Emily (Hello Rose Photography) because it should be illegal how amazing she is. Send the message as soon as you possibly can. Like right now. Please. The long version: Emily is an INSANELY AMAZING photographer. Color, posing, vibe, attitude, patience, EVERYTHING. Photography was on my top 3 non negotiable list for me, truly the most important thing next to having our dog at our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, I would randomly see her photos and be like ‘omg those are beyond gorgeous I hope my photos look like that’ and then I’d notice it WAS HER. Validation I never knew I needed. If you’re on the fence, just do it. She’s the kindest, gentlest soul and it truly put us at such ease. And she meshed so well with our quirky sense of humor. She also had the patience of a saint with our high energy doggo and capture the actual cutest photos of her. She captured love I’ve never seen between us (it’s hard when you’re looking at your person but it’s even harder for someone to be good enough to capture it). Her candids are literally the best I’ve ever seen. Of me and my dog, me and my friends, my husband and his friends, idk she’s just INSANELY GOOD. I love candids, if you’re a candid person WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR. I promise, I will bet everything on it, you will absolutely not regret spending a single penny on Emily. Honestly, she should charge more. We also had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of working with Bridgid on our wedding day. She complimented Emily so well and truly, I didn’t feel like we had 2 photographers they were so supportive and in tune with each other. Bridgid also found us funny and loved our doggo too. She even threw her the tennis ball. These ladies work so well together that I truly could not tell you who took which photo. SEAMLESS. I truly missed their presence, outside of photography, when they left for the day. These angels probably still don’t know the impact they had on us but one day I hope they see this review and know how important they were (and are) to our day.

Emily was such a dream to work with on our wedding day! All of the photos Emily took were absolutely stunning. She made us feel so at ease and also made the many hours of taking photos fun and enjoyable. She was quick to respond and very professional throughout the process. Not having to stress about her reliability or performance on the day of was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders because that was not the case for other vendors. I can't recommend Hello Rose Photography enough!
