The internet is overflowing with photos that focus on trends over authenticity. That's why, in a world filled with filters + fads, I'm here to capture every real moment of your wedding day.

    In Chelsea we trust!

    Chelsea was a dream to work with! From our first meeting, it was clear we were in good hands. She strikes the perfect balance of creative eye and meticulous planner, making sure we had a clear plan going into the day while staying flexible should things go awry. Case in point: when we met for our engagement shoot, it stormed, but we were able to tuck away in a cafe to chat and still capture beautiful photos once the rain passed! As two very camera-shy people, it was really important to find a photographer who made us feel comfortable, and Chelsea was exactly that. You spend as much (if not more) time with your photographer on wedding day as anyone else, and we could not have picked a more perfect person to invite into ours. On the actual day, she made everything feel effortless. Our motto for the day was “In Chelsea we trust,” and we couldn’t have put our faith in a better person. She made a big day feel relaxed and fun -- even when taking photos in the middle of downtown traffic! Throughout the day, she took the extra time to arrange things just so, and the love and care shine through in our photos. If you're thinking about hiring Chelsea: do it. We couldn't recommend her more!

    Chelsea is the best!

    Chelsea is the absolute best! Her photos were absolutely gorgeous and the best part of her photography is that it actually tells the story of the day. None of our shots were forced or over-posed, she just captured the day as it actually happened and made it look beautiful! She’s also so fun and easy to work with, and she has great suggestions on all things wedding - from where to take engagement or wedding photos to which vendors to work with! I highly recommend White Quill to anyone looking to capture the real feelings and emotions of their wedding day! I’ll treasure our wedding photos forever.

    6.4.22 Wedding

    Chelsea went above and beyond her duties as a photographer! The morning of our wedding was incredibly chaotic and she really did her best to keep us all in line. We ended up running so late that we only had 15 minutes for photos after our ceremony. Chelsea took charge and made sure we got took advantage of that time. Absolutely cannot recommend her enough, you definitely won’t regret booking her!

    Incredible Photographer

    I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer experience. Not only was she professional and efficient, she knew exactly what to do to get two camera shy people to relax in front of the camera. If you are considering Chelsea for your wedding, DO IT! The pictures are extremely high quality and our whole wedding experience was seamless thanks to her.

    Best wedding decision!

    Best wedding decision that we made! Chelsea was the perfect choice for our 10/10/2020 wedding. Chelsea has such a warm, calming, positive and chill energy that made her the perfect person to spend our special day with. She made us feel so comfortable in front of a camera and did an incredible job capturing so many special moments. The picture quality is beyond amazing. For most of the day, I have a candid, documentary style. Those are the photos that freeze a moment in time, like someone mid-laugh, wiping away happy tears, or busting a move on the dance floor. These are the kinds of photos I live for—they’re also the ones you’ll cherish the most because they really capture how your day felt. That being said, there are parts of the day that require a bit more posing—those classic portraits that your family and friends will want to frame. Throughout the day, from family photos to cocktail hour, I’ll make sure to snap some classic smiling shots to balance out your gallery.
You'll get an online gallery of fully-edited images within 8 weeks. I know the wait is tough, so I'll send over a handful of sneak peek images within 2 weeks.
It's a small bruise, pimple, or something that wouldn't be there in a week, I'll do my best to make it disappear. If you have additional photoshop requests after you get your gallery, they are available for an extra per-image fee. Because I believe your wedding should be documented as authentically as possible, I don't offer any major appearance-changing edits.
Your gallery comes with full printing rights—you are able to download high-resolution images and print them wherever you want. You also have the option of ordering prints, albums, and other products from your gallery through my professional print labs.
A month before your wedding, I'll send over a pre-wedding questionnaire. Here I'll ask for your "formal" photo list—any groupings of family and friends that you want to make sure you get group photos of. I will also ask for a list of any sentimental details you want to make sure to have photos of—whether it's a family heirloom or table numbers your sister hand-painted. For the rest of your day, I try not to work off a list. Instead, I just document the day as you live it.
I don't offer combined photo and video packages. I haven’t figured out cloning yet, so I (Chelsea 👋) only book one wedding per weekend, acting as either lead photographer or videographer. That being said, I know how daunting it is to start the vendor search process all over. So if you hire me for photography, I'm more than happy to provide some videographer recommendations!
I do! A certificate of insurance (COI) can be provided to your venue upon request.
As soon as possible, especially if you’re looking at a fall or holiday weekend wedding—those dates tend to book up over a year in advance. Once you reach out, I’ll let you know if I’m: a) available. b) other couples with your date have recently inquired.
