Since 2008, I’ve found myself as a professional photographer who strives to capture life, in all of its twists + turns, candidly. In addition to taking pictures, I am: the owner of The Made Fest, a handmade + vintage festival; in love with my husband; a co-founder of Smile Politely, a Champaign-Urbana local culture magazine and The Pygmalion Festival; a master gardener; an epicurean; and a mother. I am a feminist and a LGBTIAQ ally.

I work as a photojournalist and aim to document candidly. I love witnessing the day unfold and I try to remain unseen throughout the day. If you love the idea of having someone keeping track of where you are and how the day progresses, I'm your gal.

Description

Various packages are offered between six hours of coverage and up to ten hours of coverage. All packages include: A private online gallery for viewing, proofing, + ordering; unlimited locations + images with a printing release card; a flash drive of all edited, finished + high-resolution in an archival storage box.

    TLDR: Justine is the best and her photos not only turned out as beautiful pieces of art, but also perfectly captured our personalities and the love and spirit of the day. Full version: Your wedding day really does fly by in a flash, but if you're lucky you have a photographer like Justine to help you remember it. Justine is a supremely talented photographer with an artist's eye and an appreciation for candid moments. Throughout the process, she showed a genuine desire to know who we were as people, and what we wanted from our photos. She is kind and reliable, puts everyone she meets at ease, and is a joy to work with. Our photos turned out ridiculously beautiful, and we'll look back happily at them for years.

    I can't recommend Justine enough, from her professionalism, to her artistry she is a dream to work with. As a photographer myself, I am nervous, awkward, and admittedly particular about having photos of myself taken.
