We're Ben & Katya, a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Madison, Wisconsin, serving couples throughout Madison, Milwaukee, and beyond. We believe your wedding day is meant to be lived, not staged. Instead of turning it into an all-day photoshoot, we focus on documenting real moments as they naturally unfold: the laughter, tears, quiet glances, and the people who matter most.

Our goal is to create timeless photographs that help you remember not just what your wedding looked like, but what it felt like. Honest, meaningful images that bring you back to the joy and connection of your day for years to come.

    Amazing people and artists!

    Phenomenal photographers and people. We were lucky enough to work with them for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. The pictures they captured of the candid moments were so perfect it brought me to tears. I’m so unbelievably happy that our day was captured so perfectly that I’ll be able to remember all the special moments for our lifetime and beyond. They work so perfectly together and they both were so naturally encouraging and shared our joy with us.

    The perfect duo

    These guys are incredible. We knew we chose the right photographers when we had our engagement pictures done with them. They have a gift. My husband and I are shy, they were able to get us comfortable in front of the camera. They work so well as a team. Katya was one of the few people to get me to calm down on my wedding day. Their work truly speaks for itself. They are super genuine and easy to work with. You will not find a better duo to capture your day.

    The BEST Duo!

    Ben Katya are so easy to work with! As a wedding planner/coordinator I work with so many vendors and working with great vendors is key. They were flexible with things that came up throughout the day, were willing to collaborate when needed, and they were SO kind. Highly recommend!

    Ben and Katya are good, down-to-earth people. Their energy and how they capture moments on the fly is professional and relaxed. They let the day play out organically while taking charge at the appropriate times. Their work is natural yet unique. As a videographer working alongside them, they were flexible, humble, and simply easy to work with.

Every wedding is different, so because of this we don't have a set limit on how many photos we deliver, but, you will always receive the best of the best, we hold nothing back. If you REALLY need a number, it generally comes out to about 50 photos per hour, so for an 8 hour wedding you're likely to get about 400 photos. But again, it all depends on the day. We can also hook you up with a Client Gallery so you can see a full wedding.
All photos are delivered through our online gallery where you can download and share with friends and family. You also have the ability to order prints, albums, calendars, and all kinds of cool stuff to hang on your walls. Wedding photos are typically delivered 7-8 weeks after the wedding day, however, we will send a few sneak peeks a day or two after your wedding day so you have something to share to the gram! Engagements and portraits are delivered in 2-3 weeks.
Absolutely. We go through and edit each and every photo individually. When you download your photos from our online gallery, you can choose web sized for social media, etc. or High Res for printing or just storing for the future.
We (Ben & Katya) will be your photographers. We do everything together, it's sorta why we do this. From the first meeting, to the engagement session, to your wedding day, you've got us both. Of course things happen, so there is always a chance one of us may become sick, or injured to a point where we can't work, in those instances we have back up photographers to step in. But we always make ever effort to both be part of your day. In the 5 years that we have been doing this together, we have never missed a wedding, but in the unlikely chance it occurs, we have you covered.
We actually prefer meeting potential clients in person in order to get to know them on a more personal level before the wedding day, this is also why we include an engagement session in some of your packages. If meeting in person doesn’t work we can also do a skype or facetime meeting.
Absolutely! We will travel literally anywhere for a wedding, we love traveling and discovering new places. If you are having a destination wedding, we’d love to come along for the adventure and document the entire thing.
Yes! You can usually find Ben with at least two film cameras around his neck, and likely a few more in his bag ready to go. While we don’t have a specific number of film photos we deliver, we typically shoot at least a few rolls at a wedding, sometimes more.
