With nearly a decade of experience behind the camera, I specialize in an editorial-documentary hybrid style of photography. From stolen moments before the ceremony to grandpa dancing to Spice Girls, I’m there to preserve every unscripted detail. Based in the Chicago suburbs + available throughout the Midwest, I’ve photographed over 150 weddings, elopements, and love stories. No matter the size of the celebration, I seek out the joy, love, and emotions that are shared.

    One of the finest in Chicagoland

    Working with Victoria McDonald Photography was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Her laid-back approach put everyone at ease, which is something we really valued when coordinating with other vendors on wedding days. Typically, couples book me about 8-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. The shortest booking? Two weeks - I made it happen.
Sometimes, I offer to add a second photographer on each package, and occasionally, I bring an Assistant to help with lighting. If I have extra people with me, you will know beforehand.
Absolutely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge or on Images that you choose to print.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible; however, check my vendor list for my favorite Video people.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-4 weeks after your wedding. However, A few days after the wedding I will send a handful of sneak peeks your way so you have fresh images in your pocket for the honeymoon.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of the many amazing photographers in the Chicago network that I'm a part of, or contact my studio mate. You will not be without a photographer. I will do everything in my power to make sure you are covered.
