When unexpected things happened, they had backups and contingencies ready to go, and their ability to quickly wrangle the necessary roles and pivot to take charge of the circumstances was truly impressive. Claudio & Co Events were a wonder to work with at our venue, doing everything and more to prepare us and the other vendors for the big day. They were easy to communicate with and made sure to be on-site for communication and discovery as much as possible to ensure the vision was coming to life. Bold & Belle Designs and Events were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent and they were always on time, open, knowledgeable, and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The quality of their work and the value they provided was outstanding. Their pricing was reasonable, and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They handled all of our vendor relationships with ease and kept the entire day on track, allowing us to simply enjoy the moment. They provide assistance for wifi when our wifi stopped working. Our bartender became Ill during our wedding and Cece was able to step in and assist since she has a Bartending license which was a life saver as well as called another bartender who showed up without hesitation! The caterer we hired didn't add cake cutting in so we thought we would have to do it ourselves but no, Bold & Belle stepped in and handled it for us even having back up supplies of plates and forks for us to use and didn't charge is extra. We recommend Bold & Belle Designs and Events highly enough for any couple planning their dream wedding.

Heidi and Tristen are the most wonderful, creative, and kind people and they make delicious drinks to boot! After finding Black Orchid on our wedding planner's vendor shortlist, I am so, so happy we chose Black Orchid for our wedding. Even before we signed a contract, Heidi was so helpful in sharing experience and industry knowledge - my partner has worked in the restaurant industry and has been an amateur cocktail connoisseur since COVID times, and he felt so comfortable in their first meeting that we booked them immediately. Heidi was enthusiastic about planning our signature cocktails alongside us - even making a black walnut syrup from her own tree to use in our old-fashioned AND juicing carrots for my gin cocktail!! Helene hit a month before our scheduled wedding date, and (second to our venue - s/o Twisty Maple!!) Black Orchid was the vendor we knew we couldn't move forward without. Luckily, after communication was re-established, Heidi was flexible and we worked with her to reschedule. Once our second date got closer, my partner and I visited WNC to get back into the wedding spirit and Heidi and Tristen *came to our AirBnB* to sample our signature cocktails. They became fast friends and we chatted for hours! On our wedding day, it felt so special to have both Tristen and Heidi (as well as their staff) working our event. Professional and poised, they brought the perfect calm energy that we wanted to our small and personal celebration. I highly recommend reaching out to Black Orchid for your event. Chynna is the absolute best. I had no idea where to start, just an idea of my vision, and Chynna brought it all to life. She had everything we needed before we knew we needed it, allowing us to really enjoy our special moments together. Chynna not only was the most professional host, even making us dinner as we camped underneath the stars in Joshua Tree, but she also became a friend along the way, making the whole experience even more memorable. Theresa was absolutely amazing! She coordinated and decorated our wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The decorations were better than we could have envisioned and our timeline was smooth sailing. I have catered weddings and almost every wedding had some hitch but ours did not. Theresa was prepared for every second but was also flexible as needed. She made the day stress free and was a comfort in the process. Her communication, professionalism, warmth, and preparedness was over a five star! You do not realize how much goes into planning a wedding until you start planning one and without Theresa many things would have been missed, things as simple as what drinks will you be drinking out of to important things like who is cutting your cake after the feeding of the cake. We never had to worry about missing something or forgetting something because Theresa was knowledgeable about the order and process of wedding planning. If you ask she will tell you how things are done traditionally but she is open to make any changes and will help you figure out what works best for you. I could not recommend her more! I wish we had all of our wedding photos back to give more examples of the beautiful decorating she does!

Brittney was the wedding coordinator for my best friend's wedding in November, and I was getting married in March. I initially did not think I needed a wedding coordinator for my wedding, but watching Brittney's professionalism, organization, coordination, and level of service showed I NEEDED her for my big day! I asked her (after my friend's wedding was over) if she was available for my date and she said YES! Brittney assisted with all aspects of planning and was always available for any and everything I needed or had questions on. Her level of communication is outstanding. From planning, coordination with vendors, the exceptional timeline she created, etc., she was there every step of the way. The day of, I felt so relaxed and was able to enjoy my big day because I knew I had Brittney. Where do I even begin? Liz is truly a one of a kind human being. I don’t think I could ever fully put into words how exceptional she is. Her warm, genuine personality, constant professionalism, and humble, grounded presence made every part of the planning process feel supported, organized, and despite my natural overthinking stress. We didn’t originally plan on hiring a wedding planner. But about nine months out, I quickly realized I needed help. Choosing Liz ended up being one of the best decisions we made. She guided us through every detail with ease and confidence. Not only did she help manage our entire wedding, but she also planned our honeymoon, which turned out to be beyond anything we ever could have imagined. One of our top activities in Aruba opened for reservations the day after our wedding, and Liz booked it immediately that morning to get us in. She booked all activities and restaurants for us. Anytime I had a question, which was often, she responded within minutes or simply called me. She made everything fun, approachable, and stress-free. She kept detailed tabs on every task and ensured nothing slipped through the cracks. Even when I had the majority of vendors and plans in place, she refined everything with such precision. She understood my personality and how overwhelmed I can get, even when things are technically “done,” and she guided me through everything with patience and grace. The week of the wedding, she checked in frequently. On the day of, she was phenomenal. Every detail was set up exactly how we envisioned it. Labeling bins and décor helped her and her assistant move seamlessly, and I’m so grateful because she executed our entire moody/vintage aesthetic vision flawlessly. Two days before the wedding, when I couldn’t find greenery anywhere, Liz made one or two calls and found it instantly. I’ll never forget when I urgently needed our honeymoon flight information for our rental car info and she literally pulled over on the highway to send it to me. That is who she is, someone who goes above and beyond in ways most people wouldn’t even consider. Her pricing is more than fair, and her service is worth every single penny. Whether you need full-service planning or just check-ins, she adapts to exactly what you need. I had most things planned, but still had countless details and small several questions lol. No matter how minor or silly they felt, she always responded with kindness and expertise. Our FaceTime meetings became a highlight of the planning process. Occasionally, her pups or her daughter would pop into the frame, making everything feel personal-not like a business transaction, but like talking to a friend who genuinely cared about us and our day. Liz is an amazing planner, but she is an even better human. Humble, compassionate, creative, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable, especially with florals. I made my own centerpieces, and with her guidance, they turned out exactly how I imagined. Russell and I are endlessly grateful she was part of our wedding. I could cry thinking about how much she did for us. Liz, thank you for making our day perfect. Thank you for your dedication, your heart, your time, and your incredible talent. We truly could not have done any of this without you. No wedding turns out perfect, but everything Liz was involved with/in charge of - was. We are forever thankful for her.

The quality of their work and value exceeded our expectations - it was an awesome experience that was even better than we had imagined! They did a fantastic job with the flowers, allowing us to let them handle the style and overall look of the bouquets, table pieces, and the beautiful flower arch, which all perfectly matched our vision. When our wedding coordinator unexpectedly got food poisoning the day of the wedding, they replaced her with someone else seamlessly, without any disruption.
