Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

Awarded Best of Zola
We had a great experience with Amative Creative for our wedding! One thing that really made them stand out was that they offer so many different editing styles to choose from, so we were able to pick exactly the look we wanted. They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!

Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm the photographer and heart behind R Photos, based in Chattanooga and serving couples across Knoxville, Nashville, the Smoky Mountains, and beyond. I've been photographing weddings and elopements for 8+ years, and I still get butterflies every single time. My approach is simple: document first, curate second. I'm there as a quiet witness to your day, capturing the real, unscripted moments as they happen rather than staging everything from scratch. All are welcome here, and I'd love to be part of your story.

Rachel with R Photos is not just a talented photographer. She handled the planning and coordinating of my Tennessee elopement efficiently with every detail I requested in mind. On the way to the ceremony my husband and I got lost and did not have signal, so we were panicking and super late. Rachel calmed us down and assured us we would make it and she still gave us all the time we had originally planned to take photos, which turned out STUNNINGLY AMAZING! She captured the vibe I wanted perfectly, and the location she helped pick couldn't have been more perfect. I got my mountain views and my wildflowers. I can not recommend her enough if you are planning an elopement. Even the officiant and vendors she used for us were top tier. My bouquet was gorgeous. Cake was delicious and adorable. I literally can not stop looking at the photos and showing them to everyone. It will be nearly impossible to choose which ones to hang on the wall! Rachel is so cool and super talented. You will not regret choosing her for any of your photography needs especially your elopement.

I could give you my spill about how I started shooting with a film Minolta in middle school and that it tugged my heart so deeply I never set the camera down. But I would rather share with you what I love. What I enjoy. What I'm about. I have a passionate soul. I get way too excited too easily. I smile at just about anything. I'm terrible with names. I'm a retired certified public accountant. I'm allergic to dogs. I own WAY too many shoes. I want a tattoo of a vintage camera. I love what I do so much it takes my breath away. This is me. The real me. Not the "fake, I hope I sold you" me. Now let's see if we can make this thing work.

Awarded Best of Zola
Amanda is a phenomenal photographer and person! She and her team are SO SO much more than just a photography team. Every step of the way she is present and committed to ensuring your day/ pictures are exactly what want. She is worth every single penny, every single time! There are truly not words to describe how caring and loving she is. I tend to get nervous and awkward in front of the camera but she had the perfect prompts and directions which made me feel so much more comfortable and confident. These pictures are going to last a lifetime and they are timeless, stunning, and elevated. There is no one I would trust as much as her!

To us, photography is a form of story telling. With every image we capture, we do our best to encapsulate the love, laughter, smiles, tears and simply tell your story. Its our job and pleasure to capture the moments that you will look back on and relive over and over again. It’s amazing how magical and priceless photographs can be, and it is our job to make that magic happen. We also offer officiating services in the State of Tennessee! Wether you want short and sweet vows, or a scripture filled religious service, we can make your desired ceremony a reality.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Jeff to take photos for an intimate outdoor ceremony (us and 12 guests). The planning process was easy and stress free. Jeff slotted himself into the day seamlessly to capture candid moments in the ceremony and the time leading up to it. He was familiar with the venue (Ijams Nature Center) and we took a jaunt through the park after, where he was able to direct us to some of his favorite spots to take photos throughout. Jeff matched our vibe perfectly and made us feel comfortable and genuine throughout. And--of course--the photos came out beautifully.

Hanna Rain Photos & Film

  • Starts at $2,400
  • Serves Knoxville, TN

Hello & welcome! I’m a film-forward wedding photographer and videographer in Tennessee, capturing real moments and timeless imagery. I blend digital with 35mm film and Kodak Super 8 to create work that feels nostalgic, imperfect, and deeply human. My documentary approach lets the day unfold naturally, preserving the in-between moments that matter most. I’m drawn to experience-focused weddings — intimate gatherings, outdoor celebrations, and days that feel like a meaningful hang with your favorite people.

Hanna did an amazing job, and exceeded my expectations. She was easy to work with and made my vision for my photos come to life. By the end of the day, she felt more like than a friend than my photographer. Everyone loved her so much, she even shot my best friends wedding too :)

Madison B Photo Co.
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Knoxville, TN
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,500

Madison Miles is a sincere photographer that adores documenting weddings of all kinds. She creates honest and timeless images that make your love story feel like a work of fine art. Madison specializes in capturing artistic portraits paired with unique storytelling moments to produce natural, emotional wedding and portrait photography. Serving East Tennessee and the surrounding areas, she is also available for travel worldwide. Known for her cinematic and timeless photographic aesthetic, Madison is passionate about capturing authentic and intentional moments.

Everything about working with Madison was perfect. When I was looking for photographers, her photos stuck out to me because of the way she uses lighting and filters to create a mood. Even knowing that, her photos of our wedding exceeded my expectations. Our courthouse wedding was on a 20 degree, gray day during the first snow of the winter. Madison found so many great spots downtown to capture the essence of our moody, winter elopement and she was an absolute joy to work with. Neither my partner or I have had professional photos taken, so we weren’t really sure what to expect, but she took the lead and made us feel confident so we could focus on enjoying the moment with each other while she directed the shoot. I would highly recommend her for her stunning photography (obviously) and also for a fun & professional photographer who knows her craft.

Liminal Bloom Photography

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,200

I'm Kirsten, photographer behind Liminal Bloom Photography. I started in 2024, going full-time in 2025, building my approach around storytelling focused on emotion and connection. My style is calm, empathetic, and non-intrusive, helping camera-shy couples feel comfortable. I'm here for the real stuff: joy, tears, weird dance moves, quiet moments that make your day yours. Working Friday-Saturday weekends, I believe the most powerful photos happen when couples feel free to be themselves. If you want the feeling of your day preserved, not just the Pinterest version, we'll get along great.

Kirsten is phenomenal. For one, she found me at the top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere, without my help or signage, and despite the gps thinking all roads to the location were closed. She had no way to contact me, because I had no service at the location, she forged ahead, risked it all, and decided she’d ask locals for help if she needed to…and was still on time. Talk about dedication. The pictures themselves were fantastic and her creativity and imagination are unmatched. She captured the entire shot list, and then some, without it limiting her. Every single one of my pictures captures the energy of my special day, the aura of my family members, and the beauty of the location. She made the experience even more intimate and special. Kirsten has helped me with not just photos, but the documentation and commemoration of love to be spoken of for generations to come and memories to hold of a mother/daughter bond that words cannot express. I am eternally grateful especially since we were a wedding on a budget with a need to savor every moment before my mother passes.

We're Brittani and Steven. A husband and wife wedding team serving Knoxville and Destination events. Steven is our main videographer and joke teller while Brittani handles all things photography and planning. We love hanging out with our couples and getting to know you at your engagement session or over a cup of coffee. Our hope is that when we show up on your wedding day, we already feel like trusted friends - We are here to support you every step of the way while capturing all the magic that your day brings!

There aren't enough good things I can say about working with Brittani and Steven (and Katie, our second shooter) on my wedding day. What a dynamic duo (trio)! Let me start by expressing appreciation that Brittani Sloan Photography made it a financially viable option to include videography into our wedding package. If you’re like us and are on the fence about this, don’t be! Looking back at the stunning photos and videos of our wedding day - we couldn't be more thrilled with the decision we made to include this and book these guys as vendors. Thanks to Brittani and Steven, we have hundreds of gorgeous photos of our special day and footage of all our friends and family's speeches, dances, and most cherished moments preserved on film forever. They were so quick on the turnaround time and provided all the photos/videos in an organized, online gallery that made sharing with guests a breeze. Brittani and the team brought such a positive, calm presence to the day that helped keep everyone at ease even while adhering to a strict timeline. While I’m sure they were running around all day in order to capture everything - they somehow managed to blend in seamlessly and never distracted from the organic moments happening around them. In addition to capturing great candids, Brittani and team were also able to help us pose when needed without it ever feeling forced or awkward. They communicated clearly and exuded professionalism and warmth the entire day. I sincerely hope we get a chance to work with Brittani Sloan photography in the future. Don’t hesitate to book them for your day. You won’t regret it!

Shanell Bledsoe Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Knoxville, TN
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500

I'm the one behind the camera that is bigger than my face. Since 2007, my mission has been to capture every precious moment, both candid & posed, without being obtrusive. Each image should take you right back to that emotion for years to come. You will spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than anyone else, so make sure whomever you choose, you have a good connection with. My goal is to spoil my clients with amazing images, of course, but also to create a calm environment by having a positive attitude & servant spirit.

If anyone is looking for a photographer, pick Shanell and you won’t be disappointed! We hired Shanell for our wedding in Pigeon Forge, TN on December 4th, 2020. She was available from the beginning to answer any questions that would come up and was great with communication throughout the whole process. The day of our wedding, it rained all day. I thought for sure that pictures would be limited by the weather, but Shanell thought otherwise. Her and her second photographer, Danielle, were troopers and took some amazing photos of us in the rain. It was pretty darn cold, everything was soaked, and yet they were able to capture pictures that I will cherish forever! She made the experience so fun and made us forget about the weather conditions. Besides being willing to take pictures in the rain, Shanell does an awesome job at paying attention to the small details. The wedding album and even the USB drive we received were personalized with special touches that made them feel so special. Shanell is so great to work with and will do a fantastic job at capturing memories for any occasion. I highly recommend Shanell as a photographer and will definitely be making a road trip in the future to see her again for more pictures!

My name is Chelsey and I have been running around with a camera in my hand since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I used to beg my dad to use his 35mm Minolta film camera to take photos of everything under the sun and when he would allow it, the biggest gap-tooth grin you’ve ever seen stretched across my little face and everything else disappeared besides me, my camera, and my subject. Fast forward to today, not much has changed besides the gap-tooth and my own digital cameras! My first wedding was shot in 2011 and I slowly made this into my full-time job! My passion is to capture your unique love in images you will cherish forever!

Chelsey is one of the best out there! Her work is amazing, she cares about her clients, and is easy to work with! I would 100% recommend her! She has photographed my wedding and my daughters one year old pictures! The pictures I have received have always been beautiful!

Choosing the right wedding photographer was one of the most important decisions we made, and Rachel exceeded every expectation we had. My daughter and her husband had a very specific editing style they were looking for, while I was focused on ensuring we would receive a large collection of high-quality images to preserve these memories for years to come. Rachel delivered on every front. What truly set Rachel apart was her ability to connect with the moment. At times, it felt as though she was part of our bridal party, sharing in the excitement, joy, and emotions of the day. Yet at the same time, she and her team mastered the art of being present without ever being intrusive. They blended seamlessly into the celebration, allowing everyone to be fully immersed in the experience while still capturing every meaningful detail. Rachel beautifully documented the essence of the wedding, preserving not only the major moments but also the genuine emotions and interactions that made the day so special. Her professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. Thank you, Rachel, for helping us preserve memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. We cannot wait to see the final gallery and would highly recommend Rachel to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photographer.

Hey there! My name is Carly Crawford and I'm a destination wedding, elopement, and couple photographer based out of Knoxville, TN (but definitely not limited to-you could say I love to travel). My general philosophy for photography is that when you look back on your gallery 20 years later, you'll be able to remember all of the moments, both big and small, with your nearest and dearest.

I can’t say enough good things about Carly. She is such a kind and gentle soul. She put me and my fiance at ease at our engagement shoot and I knew right then I had hired an amazing person to photograph our special day. Not only that , she was the absolute best on my wedding day, having bobby pins when I needed to fix my hair and a sewing kit when my dress RIPPED! Her style was exactly what I envisioned for my day. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made and I can’t recommend her enough!

Hi! We are Hannah Joy and Jordan. Mr and Mrs Brown. Fur parents. Soul mates. Team mates. We absolutely love what we do. It shows in everything from how we shoot, to how we interact with you, to our final photos. You need a friend and a professional on your wedding day…That's us! We consider it a huge blessing to do what we love for a living. Our style is bright, happy, true to color.

I found Hannah and Jordan through instagram and immediately fell in love with their work. In meeting with Hannah about traveling to Boston I knew she would be a perfect fit for our beachy wedding in Massachusetts. She was able to bundle everything for us and we were able to even use our points to book them flights to make it more cost efficient. Hannah asked us to book for the day before the wedding in the morning so they had time to make changes if something happened with their flight—and thank GOD for that. The morning before the wedding I got a text from Hannah that their flight was delayed and they wouldn’t make their connection. They were immediately on the phone with the airline finding a way to get here. They kept in contact the whole time and flew into a different airport entirely and had to drive further to get to our venue, they handled everything and I wasn’t worried for a moment. The actual day of the wedding was amazing. Hannah worked with me while Jordan worked with Tom (my husband) and when we came together for our first look and group pictures they were so in sync making sure to get every shot imaginable. When Hannah delivered our sneak peak I felt like I was reliving the best day of our lives. I cried immediately looking at the pictures and what they were able to capture. When we got all of the pictures back (8 weeks after the wedding which was earlier than we expected!) we loved everything they captured. There were also so many wonderful pictures of our family dancing the night away which we were thrilled with! We just had the most amazing time working with them, Hannah jumped on the dance floor with me and my bridesmaids towards the end of the night for “the wobble” and she truly felt like a friend by the end of the day.
