Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm the photographer and heart behind R Photos, based in Chattanooga and serving couples across Knoxville, Nashville, the Smoky Mountains, and beyond. I've been photographing weddings and elopements for 8+ years, and I still get butterflies every single time. My approach is simple: document first, curate second. I'm there as a quiet witness to your day, capturing the real, unscripted moments as they happen rather than staging everything from scratch. All are welcome here, and I'd love to be part of your story.

I bring a documentary-first eye backed by a degree in Graphic Design and Photography, so every gallery feels both authentic and intentional. My editing style is warm and golden with a nostalgic, filmy feel, so your photos will feel just as meaningful years from now as they do the day you get them.     Easiest Wedding Ever

    I cannot recommend Rachel Kosky enough! From the very beginning, she made our elopement completely stress-free. She truly took care of every detail. All we had to do was show up after hair and makeup and enjoy our day, knowing everything else had been thoughtfully planned. She was organized, professional, and made the entire experience feel so easy and relaxed. As our photographer, she was also incredible to work with. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and our photos turned out absolutely beautiful—better than we could have imagined. The turnaround time was amazing as well. We received sneak peeks so quickly, and our full gallery was delivered much sooner than expected without sacrificing quality. If you’re planning an elopement or a small, intimate wedding, I wholeheartedly recommend her. She made one of the most important days of our lives as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, and we are so grateful for everything she did!

For elopements, I recommend booking 3 to 6 months out. For weddings, 6 to 12 months is ideal, especially for popular dates and seasons. Reach out as soon as you have a date in mind so we can make sure I'm available!
