I'm Kirsten, photographer behind Liminal Bloom Photography. I started in 2024, going full-time in 2025, building my approach around storytelling focused on emotion and connection. My style is calm, empathetic, and non-intrusive, helping camera-shy couples feel comfortable. I'm here for the real stuff: joy, tears, weird dance moves, quiet moments that make your day yours. Working Friday-Saturday weekends, I believe the most powerful photos happen when couples feel free to be themselves. If you want the feeling of your day preserved, not just the Pinterest version, we'll get along great.

I don't just take pictures; I hold space. I photograph weddings gently, honestly, without pressure to perform. I bring a neurodivergent lens to the work, noticing things others might miss: fleeting glances, tension before first looks, softness in chaos. Your Story, Your Style guides everything I do. I offer collaborative editing so your photos reflect your personal vision. Working Friday-Saturday weekends gives me space to be fully present. My clients feel seen, not posed into perfection, but held in their truth. If you want storytelling over formality and care how your love feels, that's where I shine.

    Hiring Kirsten was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we met her, she brought such warmth, calmness, and genuine excitement that made us feel instantly comfortable. On our wedding day, she wasn’t just a photographer—she was a grounding presence who made every moment flow so naturally. Her eye for detail is incredible; she captured not just the big, beautiful moments but also the small, fleeting ones that mean so much. Looking back at our photos, I can truly relive every emotion of the day—the laughter, the tears, and the joy of celebrating with the people we love. What stood out the most, though, was her personality. She blended seamlessly with our family and friends, made everyone feel at ease in front of the camera, and somehow managed to be everywhere at once without ever feeling intrusive.     Kirsten is phenomenal. For one, she found me at the top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere, without my help or signage, and despite the gps thinking all roads to the location were closed. She had no way to contact me, because I had no service at the location, she forged ahead, risked it all, and decided she’d ask locals for help if she needed to…and was still on time. Talk about dedication. The pictures themselves were fantastic and her creativity and imagination are unmatched. She captured the entire shot list, and then some, without it limiting her. Every single one of my pictures captures the energy of my special day, the aura of my family members, and the beauty of the location. She made the experience even more intimate and special. Kirsten has helped me with not just photos, but the documentation and commemoration of love to be spoken of for generations to come and memories to hold of a mother/daughter bond that words cannot express. I am eternally grateful especially since we were a wedding on a budget with a need to savor every moment before my mother passes.
