“Hiring Sheeco, specifically Nicole, was the best decision we made when wedding planning! She was always professional, timely, organized, and respectful. But more than that, she helped ease all the stresses leading up to and happening on our wedding day with the most calming, grounding, big sister energy. It was exactly what we needed on so many occasions. Throughout our wedding, she made she we got to try our appetizers and dessert, had enough to eat/drink overall, offered to get us drinks while we were eating, brought us churros on the dance floor, and made our "reverse grand entrance"/receiving line vision come to life, even when our DJ and photographers didn't quite see the vision yet (it all worked out great in the end). It's the little things, too. On the first call about a month before our wedding, she told us to give her our burdens and she really meant it, nothing seemed too small to bring to her. She made us feel safe and welcome to ask her questions, even if we thought they might be silly. She helped us clear up confusing discrepancies with our caterer and rentals. She has a real skill for being direct in a very kind way, which is something I personally really appreciate. She is awesome!”

YPB took time to hear what we wanted and needed, and re-matched us with Megan. After our first meeting with Megan, our stress levels drastically decreased. “Ashley of Blue Lark Events is a life saver. She helped me with venue research and day of services for a very reasonable fee. What I appreciated the most about Ashley is that she helped me stay organized. What I loved about Ashley was that she made some great suggestions and answered questions about what is common and she explained wedding trends. She saved me time, effort and money, as I otherwise would have made some decisions that were more expensive than were needed for the circumstances. One of the highlights of the wedding - that was loved by my guests and me - was Ashley's suggestion to do a photo bomb. Screw the photo both. You are the prop for people's photos. Stick the couple in the middle of the dance floor, play an upbeat song, and explain to everyone that they need to run behind the couple for a quick photo, taking turns. Rapid fire and in real time, those photos were hilarious. Folks grouped up for shots and couples jumped in our laps. Ashley also helped me source a really good photographer. What struck me the most was that I knew she was really great at her job after our various meetings over the course of many months, but my spouse didn't really interact with her much prior to the wedding. At the wedding he was like, "oh my God, Ashley has a sixth sense for whenever something is about to go wrong!" I was so smug - with a I told you so look in response. Be it a broken glass cigar ash tray that met the cement and is now attempting to ruin your shoes, an overturned umbrella making a run for it or that sound system that just is not acting as expected - she was there problem solving. After we got behind during the dinner speeches (which of course, she warned me about but I didn't police the speech writing), I lost all sense of control and LOVED IT. She was like you are dancing now, you are cutting cake now, you are photo bombing now - in much more rapid succession than had been planned. It was such a relief to just have someone handle us, as if we were celebrities getting ushered from one high profile moment to the next! Her quick action helped us make up time so that our guests weren't waiting around and so our vendors could be released on time. So why haven't you emailed Blue Lark Events yet? Do it now. PS - I included a picture that my photographer snapped right before the ceremony started. You can tell future hubbie needed to just be near someone and was regretting his decision to not have a groomsman wait with him. But it was fine, because Ashley's sixth sense was there. Always ready to calmly say what is about to happen and what will follow next. When I asked hubbie what Ashley said to him in this moment, he said, "I have no idea, but I guarantee you she was not freaking out like I was."”

“Hiring Ashley at Rose Event Co as our Day of Wedding Coordinator was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. I thought I was going to be able to manage planning our entire wedding myself, but as the day crept closer and closer, I realized that I was definitely going to need a hand. We spoke with a dozen different coordinators, and Ashley just stood out SO strongly amongst the rest. To put it as simply as possible, she saw our vision, she understood it, she stood in and shared in it with us. She knew exactly how to support us in making it happen, and she was easily able to make us feel that. We initially had concerns about her being located so far away from us (we're in Oakland, CA), but she put those concerns to rest so quickly! Throughout my months of planning after hiring Ashley, she was always there to answer my questions, and provide support and reassurance in all of the little things that I just wasn't sure how to handle myself, and she did so with such grace, patience, and an air of calm that was so extremely helpful and reassuring. When the month of our wedding arrived, Ashley quickly got to work on communicating with and organizing all of our vendors and laying out the structure for the day. She traveled to Monte Rio to be with us the day before our big day, walked us through the ceremony, went over all of the details, and left us so confident and comfortable in her extremely capable hands. The day of the wedding, Ashley handled EVERYTHING and EVERYONE with such care and tranquility. All of our wedding vendors absolutely loved her, and we never stopped hearing about how great she was to work with! Ashley is an absolute BOSS in all of the best ways that you can imagine! She is supportive, encouraging, communicative, active, helpful, caring, the list just goes on and on. She wants you to succeed, and you can FEEL it. She remembered and double checked on all of the little details, before, during, and after our wedding, and words simply cannot express our gratitude. She did so many things automatically, that I hadn't even thought to discuss with her, but was so grateful that we had her there to do. Thank you Ashley!! She did so many little things that I didn't even realize until I started looking through all of our photos, and noticed that they had all been done. On top of all of that, she basically packed up the entirety of our decor with the assistance of her extremely helpful husband, which was such a huge relief for us and for our wedding party who had put so much into the day. We were all able to completely disconnect and just enjoy the evening, which was so unbelievably priceless. There are so many things that make Ashley stand out from other coordinators. So many coordinators that we had talked to before Ashley had a big list of things that they would NOT do, but not Ashley. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to ensure that our wedding day went perfectly, and it did, thanks to her!! HUGE bonus, she brought along her Super 8 camera, and we CANNOT WAIT to see the footage!! “Where do I even begin? Sarah is not just my wedding planner, Sarah has become of my friends through this months-long wedding planning process. When I first reached out to SGS Events, Sarah sent me a questionnaire that made it clear she wanted to get to know me and my fiancé on a personal level. Sarah is professional, while being open. She is calm, while assertive when necessary. She leads with her heart and this is shown in the work she does. Sarah went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our day what it was. From venue changes to guest count changes to typical family drama and more, Sarah handled each pivot and new challenge with patience and understanding. What began as a 30 person dinner turned into a 55 person welcome party, ceremony, reception, and after party. Sarah is the reason it went off without a hitch. Her communication with me was so natural. She was always quick to respond to emails and sending voice memos helped keep us both updated throughout the busier times of planning. Planning with Sarah didn't feel like a chore, but an experience. This is what I desired as I wanted to be a little more in the weeds on design stuff, but I know Sarah could easily handle all of the design herself. She has a beautiful eye for decor and detail. We were working with a brand new venue and Sarah basically worked with the venue to create brand new spaces that fit our vision. Sarah designed a new ceremony space in a wooded area on the property and a custom reception space on the lawn. She also designed our table-scapes using pre-owned decor that she sourced (she has a passion for sustainability that aligned so well with my values). She is also a talented florist and did the florals for our rehearsal dinner. We got so many compliments on everything. I mean, Sarah simply nailed it. I can't say this enough. On top of all of this, Sarah is just a beautiful person. Inside and out, her passion and kindness shines through. She simply loves people and she cares for her couples deeply. As an Indian bride, I felt so seen by her. Her Mexican heritage and traditions brought an inherent empathy for fusion and international couples and the unique challenges and situations multi-cultural weddings entail. My advice to other couples: 1) Hire the vendors Sarah recommends. She knows her stuff and things are smoother when your vendors know and trust each other. She recommended our caterer and it was hands down the best wedding food we've ever had. She has so many amazing contacts. 2) Try to hire Sarah before you even have a venue picked. She can help you scout it helps when your vendors already know the location. 3) You almost certainly need more than a day-of coordinator. I can't imagine going through all of this without Sarah, and I "only" held a micro-wedding. Hands-down the best money we spent on our wedding was Sarah.”

“TLDR: Zoey helped us plan and coordinate a destination wedding from San Diego to the Grand Canyon with a Flagstaff reception. With Zoey’s help we are probably one of the few couples in modern wedding history that can say our big day went off without a single problem. Meat and Potatoes: Venue- We had a 30 person AirBnB in Flagstaff which would serve as wedding party lodging for a weekend and the site of our reception. We rented a charter bus to drive the wedding party to South Rim of GC and back. Decor- We wanted the natural surroundings to take center stage and to not clutter the venue nor reception site with excessive setup or decor. Zoey helped maintain a classy and magical atmosphere without imposing on the natural surroundings. Our table layout was essentially a U and at each end of the U moving towards the center we had multiple themes and showing important aspects of our lives. Zoey helped with table spacing and design. She even provided some personal decorative pieces to help tie together different themes. Music- We did not have a DJ. We instead made multiple playlists for different stages of the day and Zoey managed each of the playlists seamlessly. Food- We hired a local chef who provided staff for serving. Zoey simply made sure their needs were met in order to provide smooth service. Logistics- Zoey met with us on multiple Zoom calls to hear our vision. At each meeting, she gave us the right amount of food for thought/homework to do without becoming overwhelming. Zoey was even able to get us in contact with a photographer who was also amazing. Reception Dinner/final prep- After the reception dinner, the immediate wedding party and Zoey all reviewed roles to insure efficiency and timeliness. The Big Day- Zoey helped manage two separate locations with 50 guests seamlessly. We did not fall behind at any point of the day and it in no shape or form seemed rushed. Other than enjoying ourselves, Zoey made it to where on the day we just coasted. Zoey was amazing, we are truly impressed with her logistical skills. We are forever grateful to her. She was incredible to work with, always available when I needed her and making me feel supported and confident leading up to the big day. The quality of Kayla and work and attention to detail was nothing short of amazing - Kayla and her team, Ryleigh, executed our vision with perfection, creating a beautiful and carefully curated event. The florals were absolutely stunning, straight out of a magazine, and the table execution was better than I could have ever imagined. Genuinely felt like I was living a fairytale and I never wanted the day to end! Although there were a few minor hiccups throughout the day (as is typical for any wedding), Aisle Daisy handled everything seamlessly behind the scenes so my husband and I literally had no idea - which is exactly what you want from your wedding coordinators/florists and all of your vendors. “We absolutely loved having Kacie as our wedding coordinator and cannot recommend her enough! She was incredibly professional, organized, and on top of every detail throughout our entire wedding day. Everything stayed on schedule and everything went exactly as planned. Kacie worked incredibly hard and made our lives so much easier. We were pretty "low-maintenance" and were happy to delegate things to her, and she took care of everything, even little details like how we wanted the napkins folded. She took our decor from us in advance so we didn't have to worry about it on the day. Another small thing we appreciated was that she immediately brought plates of food from the buffet to the bride and groom so we could actually eat without having to think about it. At the end of the night, she carefully boxed up and labeled everything for us, did a full sweep of the venue, and even found items we had accidentally left behind. We had a Jewish wedding, and she draped the huppah fabric so it looked gorgeous and made sure the glass was in place and ready for us to break during the ceremony. Having a coordinator made a huge difference in our wedding experience. We didn't have one for our welcome party, and we regretted it. Kacie is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend hiring her! (We don't have professional photos back yet, but wanted to share these!)”
