“We only needed to tour one venue, and it was Blenheim. After our initial walkthrough of the space, we were convinced that this was everything that we could want in a venue and then some. Having over 12 years of wedding planning experience, Min and Morten offered us assurance that our wedding day would be executed beautifully- and it was. The Blenheim family were incredibly detail-oriented, clear, and responsive during the planning process. They guided us through multiple virtual meetings, providing extensive planning documents to ensure our day would run smoothly. As a person that doesn't love planning, they supported me and offered suggestions- making sure that the day would flow effortlessly. Their natural, open, and beautifully rustic venue was the ideal location for our special celebration; the venue itself reflected us as a couple and we have not stopped receiving compliments on the venue and the attentive and personable staff at Blenheim. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the amazing appetizers during cocktail hour. We had many last-minute changes and the Blenheim team did not miss a beat in executing our every wish. We are so grateful to have found Blenheim Hill Farm and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day perfect in every way!”

“Defiance Hall is a remarkable setting for a special event. Having attended a Scottish dinner there, I was amazed at the meticulous renovations that have gone into preserving and repurposing this spacious historic building, once a 1820's sawmill located between Forts Crown Point and Ticonderoga. The attention to detail and quality of the work and interior furnishings are impressive while rustic and comfortable, not to mention the fact that War Cannon Spirits produces fine small batch whiskeys and bourbons in their nearby distillery! Having worked with the owner to help organize the Burns Night dinner, I can also say that the crew is easy and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend choosing this venue for weddings and special events, it truly is a gem!”

Twelve Ponds is a 105 acre private estate wedding venue in the Catskills, where ponds, wildflower meadows, a restored farmhouse, a barn, and a stone arch look out over open hills. We host one wedding at a time, and every booking is a full-weekend buyout. The property is yours Friday through Sunday, so the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception, and a slow Sunday morning by the water all happen in one place. No shared grounds, no six-hour window that rushes you through your own wedding. Couples marry in the meadow, at the pond, or at the arch depending on the season and the light. Fall brings color across the hills, and summer evenings run long and gold. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full commercial kitchen and supply all the tables, chairs, plates, glassware and cutlery for any occasion. Twelve Ponds is for couples who want a wedding weekend, not a wedding day. Send your date and guest count and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

“Absolutely stunning venue. The wedding went amazing with the help of Julie and Olivia along with the staff at Seven Ponds on our wedding day. The day was seamless and taking advantage of staying on site made the day feel stress free. It was great to have food and drink covered with the venue as this was one less vendor that could have caused stress on the big day! Planning forms were helpful to make sure all things were covered and things went according to plan. Only thing with the planning process is it seemed as if Seven Ponds tried to upsell everything and questioned some of our decisions although after talking to them, a compromise came about. Couldn’t have been happier to pick the venue for our special day and we will remember the beauty of the venue forever.”

“There is something so magical about Roxbury, NY and the Inn at West Settlement and that is in part due to Kim, Danny, and their team. We recently got married at the Inn and it was a day we'll never forget. Kim made the planning process so smooth from answering questions, providing recommendations, and working with vendors. The day before - getting to arrange flowers with kim and members of the bridal party was a very special moment I'll cherish forever. The day of - Kim and her team helped shuttle guests to the top of the hill and when it started unexpectedly raining kim, danny and the team had faith - waited it out and we were able to proceed with the ceremony as soon as the rain stopped. During the reception Kim and Danny navigated dinner service and helped seamlessly provide our guests with a dinner they will not soon forget. Danny was a pivotal member in helping the day run smoothly - from helping with parking to rising to the challenge when things needed being done. We cannot thank kim and the staff enough for an experience like no other. Our guests can't stop raving about the place!”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at Windham Manor in the fall! The property is stunning, and the views are gorgeous, especially in the early autumn. We got married in the Enchanted Forest, had cocktail hour on the lawn, and our reception in the barn. Everything flowed seamlessly and with 110 guests, the layout was perfect. Although Windham is a small town, it’s easy for guests to find places to stay and things to explore. We did our rehearsal dinner in town and hosted our Sunday brunch at the on-site house. Susan and Barry were wonderful, checking in with us and giving us time to settle in on Thursday. They also offered a variety of decor items such as candles, vases, runners, etc., which made setting up our reception easy and stress-free. We stayed with our wedding party at the house onsite and this really helped make our weekend extra special. We loved having our wedding party with us to hang out and catch up, and to facilitate our after party. Our house manager, Karen, was incredible. She was extremely thoughtful, attentive, and always anticipating what we needed. She checked in throughout the day with even small things like water, coffee, or food. She helped the weekend feel calm and effortless. From the moment we first visited, we knew Windham Manor was our number one choice and it did not disappoint!”

“Melanie, the Stonewall Estate team, and the venue itself were an absolute DREAM. We first toured Stonewall in the middle of January, and even covered in snow, we immediately knew there was something special about this place. Coming back to get married in peak fall foliage on 9/26 was exactly how we had pictured it. We were the first of our friend group to get married, so we didn’t have much precedent for how any of this was supposed to work. From the beginning, Melanie made the entire process feel seamless. She was incredibly communicative and gave us so much guidance along the way, from vendor and local recommendations to all the little pro tips you don’t even know you need. We trusted her taste and point of view 100%, and whenever we needed advice, she was the first person we wanted to ask. Throughout planning, she kept us on track, led an incredibly helpful 45-day walkthrough, helped build out our timeline, lineup and floor plan, and made sure all of our vendors had everything they needed heading into the weekend. Stonewall also has an amazing decor catalog with so much already available on-site, which made bringing our vision together so easy. When the weekend arrived, Melanie led our rehearsal beautifully, and she and her team were such a calm, supportive presence throughout the wedding day. If there were any issues happening behind the scenes, we certainly didn’t know about them because her team was always one step ahead. We had to make the call to move our ceremony indoors because of possible rain, and they made it PERFECT. We genuinely would not have changed a thing. They then completely transformed the space for the reception, to the point that guests told us they didn’t even realize they were sitting in the same room! And the property itself... let me tell you there truly wasn’t a bad view anywhere. Our guests could not stop talking about the scenery and how beautiful and unique the venue was. Having the estate house and cottage, barn, ceremony, reception and bonfire all on one property made the whole experience so special. Our wedding party could get ready on-site, celebrate all night, and simply walk back up the hill to the house afterward. Every detail was so thoughtfully handled, from the beautiful barn and venue-owned bar to the s’mores bonfire at the end of the night. The Stonewall bartenders were also SO kind and wonderful to our guests, and we heard so many compliments about them throughout the night. We have gotten multiple messages from guests telling us this was the best wedding they have ever been to, and it never could have reached the level it did without Melanie and the Stonewall Estate team. They truly have something magical going on up there, and we feel so lucky we got to have our wedding at Stonewall. If you’re dreaming of the perfect mountainscape wedding, this is your spot. A all around!!! XOXO, Lauren & Elijah”

“My husband Chris and I were married at M&D Farm this weekend and are now soaking up the afterglow radiating from the happiest day of our lives. To exchange our vows in the lushest, most romantic and lovingly tended gardens, surrounded by our friends and family was a dream come true. We visited M&D Farm as a newly engaged couple in June 2023 and knew it would be a perfect fit from the start. From that point, Daniel and Mario worked with us every step of the way to bring our vision to life. We appreciated their attention to detail and clear communication, but most of all, we were delighted by their passion to celebrate the unique love of every couple they work with. Two years later (down to the day), all of our hard work and collaboration with Mario and Daniel paid off. It was truly a flawless weekend, from the ceremony rehearsal to the final squeeze goodbye at the end of our wedding night. Chris and I were able to truly LIVE our day, thanks to Mario and Daniel's kind, steady presence, working expertly in the background to ensure the perfect experience for us and our people. After 12 years together, Chris and I couldn't imagine a more meaningful place to make our commitments to forever. We will cherish our wedding at M&D Farm, each day, for the rest of our days.”

“Our wedding weekend here was nothing short of perfect, and we owe so much of that to this incredible venue and their team. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of—stress-free, smiling ear to ear, and overwhelmingly grateful for the people making it all possible. Every detail was handled with such care—from coordination and organization to thoughtful touches throughout the weekend. The setting itself is stunning—the views left our guests in awe—and the food was absolutely fantastic. Having the chance to celebrate with our loved ones over an entire weekend, instead of just a few hours, was truly priceless. Goat yoga ended up being one of the most talked-about events, and our guests are still raving about it. The staff deserves the highest praise. Brandon, Katie, John, and Shelby went above and beyond to make us and our families feel welcome and supported. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless. Their list of trusted vendors also made planning so much easier, and we truly couldn’t have imagined a better fit for our celebration. Their help through the planning process was instrumental in planning a wedding weekend in just 5 months!! Our guests are still asking how we found such a magical place, and the truth is—we feel incredibly lucky. We are endlessly grateful to the entire team for making our wedding not just smooth, but truly the best weekend of our lives. If you’re looking for a venue that combines breathtaking views, amazing food, incredible accommodations, and a staff that makes you feel like family—look no further. “From the first visit to the last glass of wine, this winery didn’t just host our wedding - they carried it. We toured five venues. This was the only one that made us feel calm. There was no chaos, no up-selling, no guessing. They asked smart questions early, they handled details we didn’t even know to worry about so we didn't have to. They treated our wedding like it mattered to them personally. It was like I had a wedding planner in the family. The setting was just so beautiful. Our guests were so delighted by all the unique touches they included. I especially loved how they checked in with us leading up to our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, everything just worked. They handled the whole timeline so we didn't have to worry about it and we were able to actually enjoy our wedding instead of managing it. I think we had the most fun out of anyone at our wedding. There was no-stress and no-drama. If you want a wedding that feels elevated, personal, and completely taken care of this is it. Worth every penny and then some. We didn't want to leave. We love getting to go back to visit this special place whenever we want to relive a little magic from our favorite day.”

“My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!”

“Brookledge is such a wonderful spot. Our wedding weekend was literally perfect! Not only because of the beautiful venue, but because of the amazing personalities behind Brookledge. Helen, Amber, and the rest of the staff make everything happen for their Brookledge couples and guests. One of my wedding guests mentioned how calm and relaxed our wedding felt, and that is exactly how I felt the entire weekend as well. The power ended up going out during our reception, and Amber already had a back up plan to keep the show running. All of our guests that stayed the weekend complimented how cute and fun the venue was, and we were lucky enough to be the first ones to use the new Trolley and Jean & Lise cabin! The rest of our guests have been raving about the venue as well. If you are considering Brookledge as your wedding venue, or even just a quick stay in one of their various lodging spots, DO IT!!!! This is absolutely a hidden gem, you will not regret it.”

“Black Walnut Farm will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was the first venue we saw, and the moment we stepped on the property, we knew it was where we were meant to get married. From the start, Sara, Jim, and their team cared for us with such warmth and attention. Their online planning portal made everything simple, but what we loved most was how personally they got to know us. They listened to our vision and brought it to life in a way that felt truly meaningful. Throughout the weekend, every detail was handled with so much thought. Our guests felt welcomed, we felt supported, and even when the weather forced last-minute changes, the team stayed calm and kept everything running beautifully. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. Black Walnut Farm isn’t just a stunning venue, it’s a place filled with people who genuinely care about making your day unforgettable. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.”

“I don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said “if we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. I have heard so many horror stories about venues, and I can honestly say this is not one of them. Stablegate Barn and the Birch Hill Catering Company have my highest recommendation. And if you need a coordinator, ask for Jared. Really truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing wedding day.”
