My husband and I had our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm this past weekend 10/26/2024 and it was an absolute dream. Not only was it the dreamiest wedding because we got married in front of all of the people we love, but because of the absolutely beautiful venue and the team that brought it to life. Morten & Min, the owners were so helpful, kind and just the brightest lights from the moment we met them when we toured the venue through the planning phase and our wedding day. They clearly have a very buttoned up and efficient process, which showed the day of. Now let me talk about the rest of staff … they are AMAZING. We worked with Lawrence and Rosie the weeks leading up to our wedding and the day of and not only did they go above and beyond at their jobs, they truly seemed so happy to be there. There were a number of other team members behind the scenes that helped bring together a seamless wedding (we barely even noticed them - in a good way!) so thank you to the team. This includes the chefs cooking it up in the kitchen, while we didn’t see you … we were told by friends and family how delicious the food was / it was the best wedding food they ever had. The risotto…. Oh my was it delicious!! Another amazing benefit of Blenheim Hill Farm was their recommended babysitter, Victoria - she watched 5 of the kids who attended ceremony but not reception right on the grounds. She made arts and crafts and carved pumpkins with them! The parents and kids were very happy with her. Lastly, all we have to say is….. GET MARRIED HERE!!!!

My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.

The Caboose

5.0

Hudson, NY
  • Up to 184 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $10,000

Welcome to The Caboose, a stunning 3,500-square-foot space steeped in Hudson Valley history, reimagined for an open, modern feel that’s both communal and cosmopolitan. With its soaring beamed ceilings and expansive cathedral windows, The Caboose is truly the best wedding venue in Hudson, NY and the perfect spot to host your next seated event, where guests can enjoy a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by Executive Chef Nicole LoBue. After dinner, continue the fun with dancing and drinking, or simply step outside to watch the sun set on our lush private garden filled with over 14,000 perennials. Whatever you decide, The Caboose is the space to enjoy all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect from a venue like ours — including killer sound and PA systems and aesthetic finishes like warm woods, cool marbles and stone, and hand-finished metals, all accomplished without sacrificing our commitment to being 100% carbon-neutral — because we love our planet as much as we do our guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. Words cannot express the magic and beauty that Tricia and Marty created for our special day. From the moment we toured the venue we felt the love these two people put into their special place. They both were not only professional but extremely kind and amazingly helpful in every aspect and detail of our wedding. I wish we could live it all over again, but I will cherish the moments and photos for all the years to come. I can't thank them enough for all that they've done. Our guests continue to speak nothing but praise for this place. This is the BEST venue to have a wedding, if you're looking for rustic love and beauty. The food was great as well. A Private Barn Estate in The Hudson Valley

5.0

Slate Hill, NY
  • Up to 65 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,000

As a kept-secret private property instead of a public business venture, we share our name, website and corrected address once in touch to discuss possibilities. To hint: we're in the Hudson Valley in the most adorable town, 1.5 hours from New York City; on rural acreage but mere minutes from idyllic Main Street. And as a coveted AirBnB of many years, those who celebrate can return again for years to come... Our six-bedroom barn estate built in 1790 on three acres of lawn and meadow uniquely marries under one 4,000-sq-ft roof a post-and-beam "cathedral" side with soaring 40-foot ceilings and a grand staircase, and a cozier cottage side with farmhouse aesthetic. Aside the manse is a secondary 1,000-sq-ft whitewashed open-space "raw" barn. And fun fact: We host only a handful of events per year on a first-come basis, so you can rest assured that you aren't just filling a slot at a popular venue that will then move on to the next the following day. Let your day be as special as you!

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Provides setup and cleanup
  • Offers full flexibility in setup and decor

  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
Awarded Best of Zola
As a wedding planner and designer based in NYC for over a decade, I’ve seen a lot of venues—and this one is truly special. The barn strikes that rare balance between thoughtful design and genuine warmth. It has a refined, NYC-designer sensibility—elevated, intentional, never kitschy—while still feeling relaxed, cozy, and grounded in that unmistakable Hudson Valley charm. The space itself feels like a home rather than a rental: intimate, eclectic, and quietly magical. It creates an atmosphere that immediately puts people at ease and makes celebrations feel meaningful and personal. What truly sets this venue apart is that it’s family-owned and operated, and you feel that care in every interaction. The owners are communicative, accommodating, and consistently go above and beyond to support couples and vendors alike. From a professional standpoint, that level of partnership is invaluable. On top of all of this, the venue is refreshingly budget-friendly for the experience it offers—something that’s increasingly rare. It’s a true hidden gem, and couples who find it are incredibly lucky.
