Stroudsmoor’s enduring reputation for gracious hospitality paired with old-world charm and scenic views of the surrounding mountains have made the Inn a wedding cornerstone in the Poconos for 40 years. Your Fairytale Castle Wedding
Hold a grand wedding reception in Stroudsmoor’s premiere facility accommodating 175 to 350 guests. Terraview offers you the royal wedding of your dreams with the façade of a stone castle. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lounge and Conservatory overlooking the Terraview garden.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lower level of the building. Dinner and dancing follow on the upper level where grapevine and lights highlight the dance floor and grand windows surrounding the room offer a view into the woods.

The pavilion at Lawnhaven provides a perfect secondary option to eliminate the worries of inclement weather and comes complete with a cozy fireplace, stone bar, and casual outdoor seating. It is situated on a terraced lawn between Stroudsmoor’s Main Inn and the Cabins on the Commons. Its footprint creates a complete circle, forming an open-air arena surrounded by lush evergreen gardens for total privacy.

An event at Lawnhaven requires a minimum of 75 guests, while it graciously accommodates a maximum of 150 for a traditional served meal; 200 for a cocktail reception.

The wedding ceremony is orchestrated under towering black walnut trees, surrounded by the woods and fields of wildflowers. Open to the sky above or under custom tenting, are among the options available for your celebration at the Pavilion. The Dream Team Made the Dream Wedding
When my husband and I were searching for a wedding venue, we dreamed of mountain views and rustic charm. The moment we saw Stroudsmoor Country Inn's Woodgate venue, we fell in love with the woods ceremony spot and the beautiful barn reception space. It felt like a mixture of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. It was everything we wanted and more - with perfect weather on our day (and a great backup option too if needed). Stroudsmoor truly thought of everything: phenomenal food and drinks that our guests raved about, amazing staff, on-site lodging, and even a bridal suit perfect for hair and makeup. We were given every vendor recommendation around the area; photographer, DJ, officiants, rental cars, and more. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our planner, Grace. She was our saving grace - always attentive, quick to respond, super sweet and caring, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. She made the planning process stress-free and the wedding day seamless. Every guest was blown away by the venue, the food, and the atmosphere. If you're looking for an outdoor or indoor venue that delivers on every detail, Stroudsmoor is the place. A 10000/10 experience - the best decision we made for our wedding.
July Wedding at Terraview
We held our wedding at Terraview at Stroudsmoor Country Inn this July and it was a DREAM. It's impossible to know where to start. The venue and views were absolutely stunning, the food was plentiful and delicious, and most importantly, the service was top-notch. Our wedding coordinator Alex was AMAZING and worked extremely hard to make sure our vision came to life. We searched many venues in the Catskills and around NY/PA, many with a much higher price tag, and none of the venues compared to the quality of service you can expect at Stroudsmoor. It will always be an extremely special place to us and I highly recommend Terraview/Stroudsmoor Country Inn to you as well!
BEST WEEKEND EVER!
We got married at Woodsgate at the Stroudsmoor last weekend and to say it was perfect would still be an understatement. All but two of our vendors were internally through the venue and they took care of everything! From food to cake to makeup and hair to decorations, the Stroudsmoor team did a fantastic job putting together such a magical day for my husband and I. Our closest guests and us stayed for the weekend and enjoyed their gorgeous rooms with woodsy views and a delicious breakfast buffet for both mornings. Throughout the weekend, the staff were friendly and personable and were a part of some of our best memories from the weekend. It’s a week later and our guests still have not stopped raving about the food and the incredible service. The price was reasonable and worth every penny! We are extremely happy we made the choice to sign with the Stroudsmoor and look forward to staying here in the future and even attending more weddings here in the future! A huge thank you to Linda, Alex, Kaylie, Corinne, Grayson, Colleen, Gina, and the rest of the Stroudsmoor Team! We are so thankful to have had such a stress free, enjoyable weekend we can remember for the rest of our lives.

From the floral arrangements to the decor to the extra touches Linda arranged, it surpassed our expectations. It was amazing to see what we had envisioned come to life!
