A historic property with timeless beauty, Sylvan Ridge Farm is nestled into a Pocono mountainside forest overlooking the Delaware River Valley. We specialize in full-weekend weddings that INCLUDE professional coordination and overnight accommodation for couples and their wedding parties. Our gorgeous Amish-built wedding barn and its surroundings provide rustic yet modern indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Guests can unwind in rural tranquility on our 200 private acres, yet this Pocono wedding venue is situated just 10 minutes away from Interstate 84, Milford, PA, and Port Jervis, NY, with easy access from New York City. The Sylvan Ridge Farm event barn is a unique blend of historic and innovative. Built by Amish master craftsmen in 2019-20, it encompasses an 14-foot-wide fieldstone fireplace preserved from an earlier barn structure. The main level is made entirely from sustainably salvaged Brazilian hardwoods, for an unparalleled warm ambiance. It features two 10-foot sliding doors, a built-in bar, cast iron chandeliers, modern restrooms, and a stunning wall of windows overlooking the forest landscape.

Event Barn - Lower Level
Intimate. Rustic. Adaptable.
The barn's lower level has an authentically rustic feel, combining reclaimed siding from the original 1800s structure and stone sourced from the property. The 1300 sq. ft. interior portion has a full bar and plenty of space for high top tables. The covered patio adds another 1000 sq. ft. to create an indoor-outdoor cocktail area, and is also used as a rainy-day backup location for ceremonies. The patio connects to the 1800 sq. ft. fenced courtyard, which is ideally sized for open-air ceremonies.

The grounds at Sylvan Ridge Farm are second to none in the area, whether as an event venue or a vacation rental. Right outside the farmhouse doors lie the wraparound porch, butterfly garden, lush lawns, in-ground pool, hot tub, and fire ring, all overlooking the view of the Delaware Valley and Kittatinny Mountains beyond. Surrounding all this are 193 acres of privately owned Pocono mountainside, complete with three marked trails of varying difficulty that beckon to nature lovers of all kinds!

The Farmhouse
Authentically rustic. Uniquely restored.
Built in the mid-1800s, the Sylvan Ridge Farmhouse was adapted and added on to as the property's unique history unfolded, from farm to camp to dwelling to venue. Today it boasts 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 4 stone fireplaces, numerous common spaces (one of which converts to a fifth bedroom), and a covered porch with a mountain view. Included in the rental fee for larger events using the barn, the farmhouse is also available throughout the year for intimate events and vacation rental.

The Cottage
A space all its own.
The cottage, originally the farm's carriage house and later converted into a caretaker's residence, has been fully renovated with bridal parties and newlyweds in mind! The main floor consists of a kitchenette, lounge area with electric fireplace, and powder room with makeup counter. A spiral staircase leads to a luxurious honeymoon suite with king bed and full bath. With the queen sofa bed downstairs it can hold up to four overnight guests, making it an ideal space for couples or small groups.

Sylvan Ridge Farm specializes in full-weekend events that allow groups to make the most of the 200-acre property, complete with in-ground pool, hot tub, hiking trails, and fire ring. This package includes professional month-of coordination, 72 hours of exclusive property access, and three nights’ lodging for up to 16 guests. Additional nights can be added at a rate of $1000 per night. Side events (such as rehearsal dinners or farewell brunches) may be held on site at no extra charge.

Perfect wedding weekend at Sylvan Ridge!
Sylvan Ridge Farm was the perfect choice for our wedding weekend. From our first conversation, Alyssa totally understood us — she was thorough, kind, and clear about what Sylvan Ridge could offer us, which made planning feel easy and stress-free. They recommended incredible local vendors like John's of Arthur and connected us with talented waitresses who understood our vision perfectly. Wedding of our dreams at Sylvan Ridge
Sylvan Ridge Farm gave us the wedding of our dreams. If this special location is available, BOOK IT NOW! From the moment we found Sylvan Ridge, we knew it was the perfect venue for us, and our entire experience exceeded every expectation we had. The grounds and the barn are absolutely stunning, the staff is so easy to work with, and the location is conveniently located just a mile from the hotels and the highway. Alyssa Huddleston, our incredible wedding planner provided by the venue, went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us, not just during our wedding weekend, but throughout the entire planning process, even helping with a few final logistics after the wedding weekend was over. Alyssa was always available for advice, whether it was timeline planning or small details like where to order our after-party food from. She is a planning queen - truly the best to ever do it, and we're so thankful to have had her by our side on our wedding weekend. Our wedding day itself went absolutely perfectly because of Alyssa and her team. On the morning of our wedding, she realized I didn’t bring enough candles (completely my fault), and without hesitation, her team drove to Walmart to buy more. I didn’t even know this happened until the next day! That’s the level of care and professionalism they brought to everything. Alyssa's team was just as amazing. Kelly literally had my lip gloss open and ready at any moment and was so funny and fun to be around. Dylan was kind, respectful, and always willing to help with any task, big or small. The entire team brought the best energy - calming but so much fun, and they made sure the entire weekend flowed seamlessly. A family member (who can be very critical) even texted me the next day saying it was the most thoughtfully planned, best wedding they’d ever been to. We are extremely grateful to Alyssa and the entire Sylvan Ridge team for the best weekend of our lives!

The Best Venue
Sylvan Ridge Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was prompt, professional, and incredibly accommodating. The quality of their work and overall value is unmatched - the property is clean, stunning, and so comfortable for our guests. Our month-of planner, Alyssa, made the entire planning process seamless. She handled all the final details with our vendors and helped us plan out every second of the day, allowing us to truly make our wedding exactly what we wanted. Having the venue for 72 hours, being able to bring in our own decor and vendors, and having beautiful on-site accommodations for our close friends and family was such a unique and convenient experience. The land, views, farmhouse, and cottage are all absolutely stunning. We could not recommend Sylvan Ridge Farm enough for any couple looking for the perfect wedding venue!

Best Wedding Venue!!
Absolutely obsessed with this venue. The barn and property were beautiful, the breathtaking views of the mountains made pictures so beautiful. Getting to have the venue for the whole weekend really helped to relax both before and after the wedding. We got to spend more time with our bridal party and soak in the whole weekend with them. The owners and coordinators were so amazing, they were always easy to talk to and super communicative throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this venue!
