We are Tom & Emily, a newly-wed freelance photo and video team living in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We love roaming the streets of our small town, drinking coffee at our local coffee shop, eating dominos pizza, and watching the bachelor (don’t judge us lol). We are laid back but also goofy and love to laugh. Emily loves planning and is type A - you will usually see her checking her watch and moving everyone along to where they need to be. Tom loves directing and is one of the most passionate people you’ll ever meet. (Tom also loves chocolate milk - he wanted me to add that).
We do BOTH! We love being able to offer both photography and videography services to our couples. We started our business out of the need for photographers and videographers to work together on the wedding day for the benefit of our couples. So many times we'd be doing only videography and see the photographers take the couple away for shots. Unfortunately, because we weren't working together, the couple missed out on those moments being on film! We decided our couples deserve better for this monumental day. So we joined forces and Emily provides photography while Tom handles the video! We get to do what we love with the person we love!

From our first conversation with Tom and Em, we knew we'd made the right choice. They stayed in touch throughout the planning process, always keeping us informed and making sure they understood exactly what we wanted for our day. On the wedding day, the entire crew was a dream to work with—they captured everything we hoped for and then some. What really set them apart was how they managed our family dynamics so we could just enjoy the moment instead of worrying about logistics. The quality of their work is simply the best, and honestly, there's no other way to say it. We're so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day perfect.

Tom and Em (TANDEM) are amazing!!
We used Tandem for our engagement photoshoot and our wedding photos, and through both experiences Emily was able to lead us through and make us feel comfortable every step of the way. We had never had professional photos taken, but she was able to direct us into poses and positions easily, and the results speak for themselves. The quality of the photos are stunning. We never dreamed that our wedding photos could turn out so beautiful. In addition to the amazing work that Emily did for us during our engagement session and our wedding, she was also incredibly generous to ensure that our wedding photographs would not be impacted in any way. Em will do absolutely everything to make sure that your wedding is perfect and the memories will be captured forever on photo/video.
