Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a 125-acre, resort-style luxury farm in the mountains of central New York, hosting weddings of up to 200 guests. We specialize in 3-day weekend weddings, with 30 designer lodging suites and a 2-story treehouse-inspired Sweetheart Glamping Safari Tent. We are known for our laid-back vibe and luxurious and chic spaces. Gilbertsville Farmhouse has 4 spectacular barn spaces, including a stunning chandelier-filled reception barn and an after-party lounge that rivals and NYC cocktail bar. Our free-roaming farm animals set a majestic backdrop to a unique and fun-filled weekend, and add character and beauty to an already scenic mountainside setting. We are home to the famous NY Goat Yoga goats and our resident beer burros, Frida and Chico! Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a top destination venue - a favorite of musicians, actors, and other creatives. Chandelier Barn

The Chandelier Barn has been hailed "the most beautiful barn in the Northeast". Featuring 5 stunning chandeliers, this barn is a jaw-dropper.

This space is the very definition of rustic chic. The original raw wood walls of this post and beam barn are set against the elegant crystal chandeliers and endless bistro lights, creating a one-of-a-kind barn space that has no rivals. Wood farm tables and chairs are included, as well as dishware, flatware and glassware.

    Where do I even begin. I called Sharon at Gilbertsville Farmhouse 8 days after Dave proposed to me. I was a bride on a mission with a vision and I knew (even after just looking at pictures online), that this was the place that would host the most special weekend of our lives. Sharon - first and foremost thank you for absolutely everything. You have a vision for design like no other and a heart of gold that shines through. To say that we love you is an understatement and I feel like we will be family forever. (Me and dave will be back every year don’t you worry). Brandon…where do I even start with you!?! Thank you for dealing with my type A personality and excel sheets seamlessly. I don’t know why things happen the way they do but I know for a fact that you were supposed to be apart of our big weekend. Thank you will never justify how we feel about you and like I already told you l, I’m never deleted our group chat because we are in fact best friends. Every couple is lucky to have you and I thank god every single second for the over the top and outstanding emotional support you provided to us. (LOL) KATIE! You are just magic, this place would not be the same without you there. I don’t know how you do what you do with such ease but I truly smile at the thought of you. I don’t want to brag but one of my favorite moments (besides the little dress flashing) will be you walking me down the aisle. I don’t think many people will be able to say that and I am honored. Chef Dakota - I will never be the same after eating your masterpieces (yes masterpieces). Food brings people together and that is exactly what you did. (That salmon - I could just die). GFH team - my goodness I love you all so much. The wedding blues are worse than normal because your team is not normal they are EXTRAORDINARY people. I will never forget this weekend and all the hard work you put into it to make sure our day was perfect, regardless of the weather. Maggie and Duke, I miss you more than you know. We love you all so much. Brides and grooms don’t hesitate on this magical place. RAIN OR SHINE they show up and show out for you. I literally walked down the aisle in the rain and I couldn’t have imagined it any other way. Side note: Queen Victoria - I’ve only seen a snippet of the photos you took and if they were the only ones I ever got I would die happy. Family forever. The Sampsons

    I will never have the words to accurately describe what our wedding weekend at Gilbertsville was like. To say it was a dream would be an understatement. First things first, we booked this place in the dead of winter - like actual snow on the ground - because even without knowing what it looks like in season we knew it was unreal. From then on, the process leading up to our wedding was nothing short of pleasant and exciting. The team - Sharon and Gina - are extremely responsive and never make you feel like your questions are too small or trivial, they understand how important the day is to you and are in the process with you. Our tasting with Shane and his team was just another incredible day that solidified we made the right choice. I've been to plenty of weddings but Gilbertsville's food is so spectacular and nowhere near just the typical churned out wedding chicken and steak. Then our wedding weekend came and we never wanted it to end. The property itself it's just so incredible, even the adults were reverting to childhood when they saw all the animals and the glamping tents. Katie and George took such good care of us throughout the weekend and were always positive, happy, helpful and matched our vibe of just being in a good mood. I truly don't have enough good things to say about this place as a wedding, or the people who work here. HUGE shoutout to Gina, Sharon, Katie, George, Shane and everyone else who gave us a memory we'll never forget. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE
