Hello there! My name is Billy. Thank you for stopping by! My style of work is candid and natural and I aim to capture you as you are on your wedding day. I am based in Buffalo and photograph in the Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Finger Lakes areas. Your wedding day will be filled with wonderful fleeting moments with your loved ones. Let's create memories together that will last a lifetime. Every wedding is different and I will tailor our services to meet your specific needs.

I shoot film for my personal enjoyment, and lately, I've been incorporating it into my weddings to create timeless memories. Film has a unique way of capturing emotion with warmth and character. Alongside photography, I offer hybrid photo and video coverage, combining candid storytelling with a highlight film that beautifully captures the emotion of the day, all without the need for a separate full videography team. This approach gives couples the best of both worlds: heartfelt images and meaningful motion, woven together in a way that feels natural and true to their story.

    Best Decision You'll Make

    There are special individuals that when you watch them work you can tell how passionate they are, how much they enjoy what their doing, and it translates into the quality of their work - Billy is one of these people. Billy ended up being the only photographer we met with and based on our meeting, how organized, experienced, and simply his vibes, we did not hesitate to book him right away. Leading up to our wedding, Billy met with us to go over our timeline and gave us some great advice (remember to leave time to eat!), which we incorporated into our day and we're so glad we did. Billy's platform is easy to navigate and extremely transparent in terms of what his style is and what he delivers. On the day of our wedding, Billy was kind, funny, extremely communicative and honestly was the one who kept our timeline going. He knows exactly when to give direction and when to let the moments naturally happen. Billy does not only bring his photography, but an experience with special features he provides to his couples. We are extremely happy with our photos and couldn't have asked for a better photographer, as well as someone who helped make it the best day of our lives. It truly left an impression on us and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for photographer/videographer!

    BGF Photography- Best Wedding Photographers!

    We could not have asked for a better photography team for our wedding! From start to finish, they were professional, personable, kind, and made everyone feel so comfortable. We received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing they were! They did an incredible job keeping the day on track while capturing all of the special moments we wanted. Everyone loved the photo slideshows throughout the night, and it was so cool to have photos printed and available so quickly. We would recommend them to anyone without hesitation! We already received our wedding photos back, and they are absolutely amazing! We are so happy with how beautifully they captured our day!

    Highly recommend BGF photography

    Billy is amazing! Me and my now husband have no idea how to take good pictures but Billy made it so easy. He’s very attentive to detail and also focuses on getting genuine reactions. We love our engagement photos and saw a sneak peak of our wedding photos and CANT WAIT to get them. Highly recommend!

    Amazing all around, DO recommend!

    It was such a joy to work with Billy. From the beginning, his communication was great, and it stayed that way throughout our whole wedding planning. When we initially booked with him, we were still in the early stages and weren’t sure of all our details. Billy walked us through our wedding day, and it brought such a smile to our faces to have that first concrete vision of our special day. The day of went amazingly. Billy is an all around great guy to be with; our friends and family still go on about how great he was. When we got the pictures, I cried because I felt like I was re-living our wedding day. Cue even more tears when our video came in. He did an incredible job of capturing the love, laughter, and partying that happened on our wedding day. We are so grateful for his dedication to us and his craft and absolutely would recommend him.

    CAN’T RECOMMEND ENOUGH!

    Billy and BGF Photography were nothing short of amazing. From our first planning phone call it was evident that Billy was going to be the perfect fit for us. His experience made everything regarding pictures seamless rather than stressful. We are so happy that the pictures from our special day came out as wonderful as they did. Every shot we could’ve wanted was perfect and the candids from throughout the night are everything we wanted. The video he put together for us was so beautiful and thoughtful. It’s pretty clear Billy has a great handle on wedding photography and we couldn’t recommend him enough to anyone looking for a true professional.

My turnaround time varies by season. You’ll receive your photos and video in your online gallery about 4-8 weeks after your wedding but usually in a shorter time. Within this time, you can expect to receive a private online album with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints and albums.
You can expect about 700-1000 images for a typical full wedding day. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I am fully insured through the Hartford Business Insurance. If your venue needs proof of insurance just let me know and I'll be happy to provide that for you.
Candid with light direction. For the important moments while getting ready and wedding portraits, I will lightly guide my couples to get the best photos. I encourage doing an engagement session with me before the wedding to get familiar with me as a photographer and in front of a camera. The rest of the wedding day, I'm looking for candid moments of emotion. I believe the best photos are taken a few seconds before and after you see the camera pointed in your direction. My favorite images of the wedding day are ones where the couple are enjoying their time with wedding guests, blissfully unaware their moment is being captured.
I am based in Buffalo NY but I'd be happy to travel to Rochester, Syracuse, the Finger Lakes region and everything in between. If you are outside my normal area, please reach out and in most cases I can travel to your location.
If your getting ready locations are at the same venue or close drive to each other, I can absolutely photograph your wedding without a second photographer. To ensure the day flows well, I recommend discussing the timeline in detail with me during the consultation. Especially with just myself as your photographer, it's important to budget enough time for each part of the day. Bear in mind some ceremony venues have movement restrictions where it would be difficult to capture all the special moments without a second photographer. This would also apply for elaborate events during the reception where I can not be in two places at once.
I would be happy to photograph your pre and post wedding events! Sangeet, mehndi, rehearsal, friends and family gatherings, etc. Please let me know during the inquiry and consultation if you're planning a multi-day wedding to confirm availability. Additional days can be billed as half day or full day packages.
Yes! Drone coverage is included in all of our photography and videography packages for aerial venue photos and cinematic establishing shots. Drone flights are always subject to weather, venue policies, airspace restrictions, and FAA regulations. We also offer overhead ceremony processional shots and dramatic aerial wedding party and couple portraits as an optional enhancement. These typically require a dedicated second FAA-certified drone pilot and can be added to your wedding package.
