I am a professional makeup artist with twenty years experience working throughout the Central New York area for clients in search of expertise that showcase their unique look. I bring their vision to life through personalized care and partnership. I provide high quality aesthetic services which include corrective makeup, traditional and airbrush application and top grade luxury makeup. I have done over 500 weddings throughout my career. Being a part of someone’s wedding day is such an honor. I love helping each person feel beautiful, confident and completely themselves as they celebrate one of the most memorable days of their life.

I have extensive on-camera, commercial, print, bridal and celebrity experience, as well as a licensed esthetician with a deep understanding of skin. I’m also an educator, yoga and meditation teacher, and Reiki practitioner who brings a grounded, personalized approach to beauty. I even offer Wedding Morning Yoga, giving brides and their people a chance to move, breathe and settle into the day before the getting-ready begins. From an expansive professional kit and experience with diverse skin tones, ages and textures to creating makeup that photographs beautifully without losing you, my approach is never one-size-fits-all.

Yes. There are many options to cater to the type of look you want for your special day, even if you are not used to wearing makeup. Professional makeup is highly recommended for photographs. For example; color correction, de-shining and defining certain features. These techniques will translate well on camera and video.
Yes. I highly recommend doing a trial run prior to your wedding day. This is where you get to try colors, different styles of lashes, foundation for your skin type/tone and experience how the makeup feels on your face before your big day.
I typically spend approximately two hours getting to know the bride and her vision and testing the full look.
The bride, bridesmaids, flower girls, grandmothers, moms and the groom! Occasionally when there are guests that would like their makeup done, I may be able to accommodate.
Yes. After the makeup is complete, I can remain onsite for an hourly rate.
It generally depends on your timeline and how long you prefer to take getting ready. As a solo artist, I can accommodate up to ten people. There is an additional cost for an assistant artist.

    The absolute BEST!

    I’ve been going to Christy for about four years now, and there is truly no one else I trust with my makeup & Brows! She has done my makeup for events, Halloween, nights out, and everything in between, and somehow I leave her chair feeling more beautiful and confident every single time. At this point, I basically just sit down and tell her to do her thing because I trust her completely! Her makeup is always flawless, lasts ALL night, and photographs beautifully. But what makes Christy so special goes way beyond how talented she is. She is warm, fun, easy to talk to, and makes you feel completely comfortable and hyped up while you’re in her chair. I also love that she incorporates mindfulness and Reiki into what she offers. It makes the whole experience feel so much more personal and unique than just getting your makeup done. Christy is truly amazing at what she does, and I cannot recommend her enough!

    The absolute BEST

    Christy is truly the absolute best! She has been my makeup artist for years and is the person I trust for every important event in my life. She did my makeup for my wedding, has gotten me ready for countless events, and will be doing my makeup again this weekend for my baby shower! She somehow makes me feel like the best version of myself every single time while still making sure I look and feel like me. Beyond being incredibly talented, she is dependable, professional, so much fun to be around, and genuinely such a wonderful person. After all these years, I honestly couldn’t imagine having anyone else there for these special moments.     I thoroughly enjoyed having Christy do my make up. She was very professional and brought a calmness to our makeup session. I typically do not wear a lot of makeup and she understood that. She intuitively knew my likes and dislikes regarding color on my eyes, cheeks and lips. I felt very confident and I was glowing at the end. I can't wait to have her do my make up again.

    BEAUTIFUL

    From my first email with Monti Makeup & Mindfulness, I knew I was in good hands. She was professional and polite throughout the entire process, making sure everything was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day.
