New Park is a stunning and inspirational wedding venue and retreat center with several special spaces to accommodate overnight guests. New Park can host large and small gatherings - weddings, reunions, anniversaries, memorials, wellness retreats, corporate retreats, etc. New Park's incredible dog-friendly suites and cottages have stonework, stained glass, and details that make a romantic and special place to stay. New Park is located in Ithaca, just north of the city and just south of Taughannock Falls, in the stunning Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. There are many things to do in the Finger Lakes to satisfy your wanderlust, including wine tasting, hiking, boating, and hot air ballooning. ​

The Pavllion

The Pavilion is surrounded by tents, so you can have an indoor/outdoor vibe to your wedding.

We have a variety of outdoor spaces and 2 indoor spaces for your wedding needs! Your party can drift out to the bonfire area and stand outside for the fireworks. ​ We are surrounded by nothing by nature, so your party can go as late in the evening as you wish!

The Wish Room

Warm, welcoming space for intimate gatherings.

The Wish Room is a smaller meeting space, named for its shape, reminiscent of a wishing well. The charming round room features a fireplace in the center and stained glass windows around the outside. It can host up to 16 people for a seated event, or up to 25 people for a cocktail-style event. The building also has picnic tables outside and a firepit, giving larger parties an opporutnity to spread out in good weather.

    Wedding Review

    We got married at New Park about 4 months ago, and it was absolutely magical! The scenery was breathtaking—exactly what I envisioned for my “backyard, but not a backyard” wedding. Multiple guests even said it was the favorite wedding they’d ever attended! There was plenty of space to dance, but guests also had so many other fun options like cornhole, ping pong, and relaxing by the fire. The venue is truly unique, and if I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Huge thanks to Sara and the entire New Park team for making our day unforgettable!

    Best Weekend Ever!

    I don’t even know where to begin with how special the New Park Venue is! The suites are absolutely stunning and I loved how I got to spend my wedding weekend with the people I love most in one place. The forest where the ceremony takes place is breathtaking, peaceful, and magical. Your ceremony photos will be beautiful! The owner of the venue, Sara is amazing! She was very accommodating all weekend! She was also very calm, cool, and collected which in turn helped me be cool, calm, and collected which as a bride is all you can ask for! I also love that my husband and I can come back and stay in the same place we got married! I highly recommend New Park Event Venue and Suites!

    Amazing wedding venue!

    New Park Event Venue & Suites was an excellent choice for our wedding. They were very communicative throughout the entire planning process, making sure we felt informed and supported every step of the way. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, combining the natural beauty of the outdoor space with the unique and charming buildings on the property. The team was incredibly flexible in working with our vendors and accommodate last-minute requests. The property provided the perfect backdrop for our photos, and we received so many compliments from our guests on the stunning setting. Overall, New Park Event Venue & Suites exceeded our expectations and played a big role in making our special day truly unforgettable!

Yes! At New Park we believe that dogs are furry family members that are important to include in your big day festivities! We provide comfortable doggy amenities to ensure a pleasant visit.

New Park is not 100% wheelchair-accessible, but it is still navigable for many people with mobility issues. Most of the suites at New Park are step-free or include just one or two steps. We also have a golf cart we use to help shuttle people across the grounds, especially to the ceremony space in the woods. New Park's grounds are quite flat, so it’s pretty easy to get around the property without climbing stairs. However, there is a lot of gravel, and the sidewalks have uneven stones in some places. We do not recommend wearing super high heels.
New Park has two indoor areas for events -- The Wish Room and The Pavilion -- and each has adjacent outdoor areas for your celebration. The Wish Room is suitable for events with up to 40 guests, and in nice weather, the firepit becomes part of the party. From April to October, tents adjacent to the Pavilion expand hosting capacity to 225 people for a seated dinner. But in the off-season, the tents come down, so the capacity of the climate-controlled Pavilion is 100 people.
Diamond on Seneca, our sister venue, serves as our in-house catering provider and can handle both food and bartending services. But we also welcome outside caterers and vendors. We are happy to suggest vendors, too. All alcohol services must comply with state laws, and we can discuss custom bar packages or cash bar options.
Yes, New Park Event Venue & Suites features six exquisitely designed suites that can collectively sleep up to 20-22 people. These accommodations provide the perfect opportunity for you and your closest family and friends to enjoy a destination event weekend on-site.
For events that do not include overnight accommodations for all guests, activities generally conclude by 10:30 PM. However, if you opt for a full property buy-out and all attendees are staying in our suites, we can extend your celebration with an 'after-party' until 2 AM. Please note that quiet hours for all guests staying on the property begin at 10:30 PM.
New Park Event Venue & Suites can host a wide range of celebrations and gatherings. We welcome weddings (including outdoor, indoor, and small ceremonies), bridal and baby showers, formal parties, anniversary celebrations, graduation dinners, retirement parties, banquets, corporate retreats, business meetings, and various other events.
