“Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”

But after learning more about what a good officiant can offer we were incredibly happy to have changed plans and gone with Miriam! “My partner Sky and I had the dream summer wedding we envisioned at Seven Ponds. For our wedding we wanted to emulate these weekend trips we do upstate with a close group of friends and just make it bigger to include our family. Seven Ponds farm provided our two requirements of what we were looking for - a big house that could fit all our friends and a swimming pond right on the property. We also really appreciated that we didn't need to hire a wedding planner and could utilize the venues resources for all the planning aspects. We really appreciated how the Seven Ponds staff let us do our own thing throughout the weekend for a really relaxed environment, but then whenever we needed them they were right there helping with things like doing a practice run of the ceremony and answering specific questions about the house etc. It was also so wonderful that the staff were able to handle things like setting up the tables and the candles for us for the wedding dinner. Overall the forms and calls for the planning process were really helpful. We did have a little frustration at the wedding tasting as we thought it was an opportunity to ask questions about the food and overall found out that they really don't want you asking many questions and would prefer you to just read the written packet they provide without interacting in person with questions. I would also recommend being well versed on the packet you purchased as they won't be able to answer questions about what packet you bought. This was a bit different than we expected and knowing what I know now I might recommend not bringing family or friends to the tasting or otherwise just preparing them to just fill out the paperwork quietly as us not realizing this made for a more difficult tasting experience. There was also one staff member at the tasting who was a bit rude to our family members and I was so worried that this negative energy would be reflected at our wedding so I asked for a different wedding coordinator to lead our wedding. Overall the impersonal nature of the tasting also just made me really worried that the wedding would have the same feel and so I wanted to include this to note that while the tasting process wasn't as personal this was not the case at the wedding and the wedding atmosphere was really lovely. After the tasting I asked for Rosie to be our lead wedding coordinator as she had a much warmer energy and I can't recommend Rosie enough. She truly made our wedding experience. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who has a graceful upbeat energy, stays calm and is easy to communicate with definitely ask for Rosie. There was a big storm on the day of our wedding and Rosie was so helpful staying calm and telling me to not loose hope about doing the ceremony outside. Morten was also really great with a specific weather device he had that allowed us to see when we had a good window to do the ceremony outside and very happy to say it all worked out and we got our dream outdoor ceremony. Overall I really got the wedding I dreamed of and we had such a relaxed and personal atmosphere. We really appreciated all the work the staff did to set up the wedding which allowed us to really just have fun, enjoy and not worry about logistical details. We so appreciated the flower package the venue provided for setting up the flowers and the bonfire packages. Overall we loved our wedding so much and are so happy we went with Seven Ponds! :)”

“Thomas and his team were wonderful for our wedding in December! Right from the start he was super helpful to give us all the information and didn't sugar coat anything. I will say I was a little suspicious at first when he said "I can do any style you want" I know some photographers only stick to certain styles. And with our wedding being in Sturbridge MA I was expecting a travel fee. But he wanted us to make sure that he was a professional, he keeps things fair all across the board. Thomas is also super quick when it comes to messaging! If I had any questions he would respond rather quickly. “Normanside was the first venue we looked at and honestly anything after it just didn't compare. We kept finding ourselves coming back to Normanside as our favorite for several reasons. We really wanted a ceremony outside but reception indoors (for A/C) which they offered (and on top of that, the outside patio has an awning incase of rain, you're covered, literally). The packages offered are extremely reasonable. With several options and add-ons available we were really able to customize exactly what we wanted. We also loved that everythinge is on one level (as we had some guests unable to do stairs). The finished patio off the bar is beautiful. Our guests loved playing cornhole during cocktail hour and throughout the evening. Jaimie was awesome and on top of things every step of the way. She was easy to work with, very responsive any time we reached out and always professional. Jaimie and Dave were very accommodating to our wants and needs. From the scenery to the staff and everything in between Normanside made our wedding what it was. We couldn't be more thankful we choose them as our venue.”

“Brookledge is such a wonderful spot. Our wedding weekend was literally perfect! Not only because of the beautiful venue, but because of the amazing personalities behind Brookledge. Helen, Amber, and the rest of the staff make everything happen for their Brookledge couples and guests. One of my wedding guests mentioned how calm and relaxed our wedding felt, and that is exactly how I felt the entire weekend as well. The power ended up going out during our reception, and Amber already had a back up plan to keep the show running. All of our guests that stayed the weekend complimented how cute and fun the venue was, and we were lucky enough to be the first ones to use the new Trolley and Jean & Lise cabin! The rest of our guests have been raving about the venue as well. If you are considering Brookledge as your wedding venue, or even just a quick stay in one of their various lodging spots, DO IT!!!! “My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!”
