My husband and I are a team and have always been drawn to watching old home videos. We love the nostalgia, the time that is still present through documentation. Our inspiration to the way we photograph is similar to these home movies we grew up watching of our families. It’s the candid in between moments. The family and friends who haven’t seen one another in some time go in for a big warm embrace. It’s the group of cousins all about to cheers and take a celebratory drink together. It’s the tears and the laughter being captured when people think no one is looking. Genuine emotions. It’s what moves us. It’s what we live for.

My name is Eva and I started my photography business in 2017. My love for photography and capturing people started since I was in middle school. My oldest brother gifted me a camera and I would take it everywhere with me. I began organizing and storing large digital files from my photographs and am really thankful to be able to look back and have such nice memories. I love showing people that they do not have to be professional models to look amazing together. My photography approach is emotional but also guided and directed. My business is diverse, inclusive, accepting, welcoming and a safe space for everyone.

Right after graduating from CSU Sacramento in 2012 (with a BA in Photography, might I add!), I did photography as a side-hustle while working a couple of various jobs: part-time as a Summer camp counselor and full-time at a medical device company. After getting married in 2016, I moved to Modesto with my husband since he was working there at the time. Because of the move, I had to leave my jobs in the East Bay. I took this move to the Central Valley as a sign that I should do photography full-time. So, since 2017, I've been a full-time wedding photographer. We are now in beautiful Sonoma County!

Hey there!! My name is Marilyn and I'm so glad you're here ♡ I am a couples + wedding photographer based in New York City, and happy to travel to wherever your day is at! I've had pink hair for the last 6 years so at this point it has become a personality trait and I'm 100% okay with it. I love the outdoors, pat every dog I can, and thrive on ben and jerry's. My ideal place to be would likely be frolicking in wildflowers in a dress that's way too long, but the longer the better. The patio of my NYC apartment with a good book is a close second favorite though, for sure.

Awarded Best of Zola
I never thought that my wedding photos could look quite literally exactly as I had envisioned in my wildest dreams. Marilyn delivered not only stunning photos, but ones that captured moments that I will treasure for a lifetime. She even took the time to photoshop a few pesky bangs, delivered the photos an entire week early, and threw in more than a few dozen extra edited photos on top of our standard package. We're so grateful that our photo experience was so fun and easy!

We’ve been to hundreds of weddings as a team, and our motto has never changed. We want you to live in the moment, while we capture it.

Ryan and team were awesome through the entire process from initial inquiry to delivering our photos! They were very professional and patient, and provided information about the day of very clearly. They were also super fun to work with—the team took our wedding day seriously but also had fun with us! Ryan was extremely communicative which was so helpful during the stressful times of wedding planning. Ryan photographed my best friend’s wedding and once we locked in our date and location we knew we wanted to work with them! Our photos came out amazing and we can’t wait to see our video.

Hi There! I'm Sally! Nice to meet you! I am a passionate couples photographer in the St. Louis, Missouri region. I am known for my warm, candid photo style. Forget stiff poses, I am ALL about directing with fun prompts!! I want to capture the raw emotion instilled in you. Let me tell the story of your relationship, family, personal life, etc! My clients mean the world to me & I am always ready to help them in any way that I can! I get to know you, so I can make you the most comfortable during our session.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are so grateful to have landed Sally to be part of our wedding day—she was the perfect fit for our intimate, immediate-family Utah destination wedding. The stars aligned and we happened to be getting married at a location on her Bucket List, meaning we only paid the cost of her travel and lodging from St. Louis. Working with Sally was an incredible experience and an absolute steal. From the time we booked with Sally, it was clear that she is experienced, genuinely loves her work, and takes the time to really understand clients’ visions for their day. In initial video consult, she was direct about the best times/lighting for photos, yet flexible and willing to plan our day just the way we wanted. She was fast in responding (almost immediate) and responsive to any/all questions or requests ahead of time. Sally not only traveled to Utah and woke up at 3 AM with us to capture sunrise photos—she stayed with us and sustained her energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism for the next 9 hours or so. (We parted ways in the afternoon but think she might have kept going for another 9 hours if our party hadn’t all been ready for a nap!) The photo sessions themselves were fun, adventurous, and lighthearted. Sally is true to her style, which is to capture her subjects as their authentic selves—resulting in a mix of traditional portraits and more whimsical, natural, and candid shots. We love our photos! Sally was also exceptionally efficient during group photos: as she had curated a list of groupings we wanted ahead of time, she pulled these up and we were done with family shots in under 20 minutes (and they turned out fabulous)! To top everything off, Sally sent us a celebration goodies box ahead of our wedding as well as a beautiful wedding gift afterward. In all, we could not have chosen better and recommend Sally 100x over!

If you are reading this right now, you should go ahead and book Carmen already for your big day! ;) You absolutely won't regret it!! My husband and I knew we wanted to book Carmen early on in our wedding planning process - in fact, she was the first vendor we booked. After we picked a venue, we worked with Carmen's schedule since we knew 1000% that we wanted to have her document our big day. From the beginning Carmen was super friendly and communicative with quick responses throughout the week (usually on weekends she is likely at a wedding). She was also very organized and had questionnaires to help us get to know each other better on a more personal level so we wouldn't feel like strangers on the big day. We went with one of her packages which included an engagement session (which was super fun and matched what we were envisioning - a "naturey" theme with mountains/hills in the background), a second shooter (who was super amazing!), an heirloom album (which we are currently working with her on), and more! The engagement session was extremely helpful for us because we were slightly nervous before the shoot, but the more time we spent with her, the more relaxed and at ease we felt (which is saying a lot because my husband and I are both introverts). We liked that Carmen could help us naturally pose and that her editing style was not too overly edited but allowed the natural beauty in each shot to shine. We also really appreciated Carmen's flexibility - my husband and I are both healthcare workers who have varying schedules and sometimes work weekends, but she was able to still plan our engagement session and our Zoom calls around our busy schedules. After the big day, when we look back on our wedding day, one thing that really stood out was how many of our guests were amazed with Carmen and her second shooter; the small details Carmen noticed made a lasting impression on a lot of our family members such as when Carmen and her second shooter would hold onto our guests' purses or sunglasses and make sure everyone looked essentially before taking photos. My mother-in-law couldn't stop raving about Carmen and how attentive she was to each guest. We also enjoyed all the photos of the wedding venue, each of our guests, and small moments and details that my husband and I might not have noticed since we were all over the place on the day of our wedding. At the end of the day, while all the food and drinks have been consumed, the music has been played, and the decorations and flowers have been set up and taken down, the only thing we have to reminisce on is the photography and documentation of our special day, and that's why we trusted Carmen to be our wedding photographer and would recommend her a thousand percent to all our friends and family.

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry! I’ve shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I are the most awkward subjects for a photo shoot and have no idea what to do with our faces or bodies. Thalia made us feel so comfortable and was so reassuring. She had the best ideas for poses and was able to capture the genuine love in our photos, which is something I will treasure forever. She was also great at incorporating our dog in the pictures! I wish I had her take our engagement/wedding pics after seeing her other work. Thanks, Thalia!

Sleepy Hollow, NY

  • Serves Desert Hot Springs, CA for additional fees

My name is Ali Cushing, a Sleepy Hollow and NYC-based photographer working across the country and world wide providing documentation and memorializing of your most precious moments for weddings, elopements, engagements, and couples photographer, near and far. My goal first and foremost is articulating your personalities, romance, and every aspect of your event into a visual story you'll treasure long after the reception. I approach each opportunity with personalized care. Whatever your plans, I’d love to be a part of and to document your story. All couples of all genders, ethnicities, ages, faiths, shapes and abilities, are more than welcome.

Awarded Best of Zola
If you’re wondering whether to hire Ali to photograph your wedding or other occasion, we say HIRE HER without a doubt. We hired Ali for our small wedding ceremony and reception based on a few good reviews and some sample shots we really liked. Upon a quick initial Zoom meeting, she seemed friendly and relaxed and very much like she knew what she was doing. During our planning phase, she was responsive to any question we had for her, no matter how insignificant the matter. But where she really shined was on day-of: she was so versatile and flexible, so while we were busy orchestrating and celebrating, she dashed around capturing the beauty of the evening. She gave us minimal instruction but managed to capture the perfect snapshots throughout the evening. She even ventured off with us for a vision we had of photos with the skyline in the background at the end. We’ve only received the sneak peek photos so far, but they are so gorgeous and we love them so much. Truly cannot wait to see the rest!

I went through polaroids, video cameras, disposable cameras, waterproof cameras, and film cameras; all the cameras! I was so fascinated by photography and the ability to preserve moments. I'm an ENFP, 7w6, and extroverted-introvert who is not only thrilled but humbled to be a witness and historian to the significant moments in your life we are able to share together!

Lindsey is such a sweet soul, and so wonderfully easy to work with. She’s so kind and personal and obviously loves her art. I am so thankful I chose her to be a part of my special day!

My name is Laura and I am bilingual (English/Spanish). I moved to Arizona in the beginning of 2022 from New Jersey. It has been bittersweet to redefine myself in a new state. One thing I absolutely refused to leave behind is my love for photography. I moved here with my husband for a change of speed. It has been such a beautiful change! Just like you, I too am in love with the views Arizona has to offer. I am a nontraditional wedding photographer, I am there for all the feels that come with your big day. The tears, the smiles, the laughs, the dancing... Moody, warm and candid photography. Photos to make you relive the moments later

We did our engagement photos with Laura when she just started up her photography business and after we received them we knew she had to shoot our wedding. Laura was so amazing to work with leading up to the wedding, very thorough, extremely detailed and she made sure our visions were on the same page. Day of the wedding she made it so fun and easy for us to enjoy being photographed. Our families loved her and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos, and I may be biased but they have been her best photos up until that point. They’re like photos out of a movie, so ethereal and beautiful!!! 20/10 choose her for all of your photography needs you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Lauren was one of the first vendors we hired in our wedding planning process. She was easy to communicate with, super flexible, professional and kind! She captured beautiful photos in what can be such a chaotic environment. We received a large portion of our photos just a few days after our wedding (queue the tears!!) and the other photos we received about a month after the wedding. These photos are absolutely perfect and so very special to us! Thank you!

I'm Abby! and I’m hopelessly obsessed with love. There’s nothing like watching a couple look into each other’s eyes and realize they just got married. Being able to capture that moment- and then deliver it to the couple to keep forever- it’s truly the best. I’m here to capture so much more than just memories. I’m here to capture feeling. . The sweet glances that make your fingertips tingle. The look that makes your heart thump in your chest. The loopy butterflies in your stomach as you’re about to walk down the aisle. Those feelings. The photos I produce allow you to hold those feelings in your hand, and keep them safe for eternity.

We booked Shelby after checking out her Instagram and website portfolio. Initially, we were going to use her for the proposal but due to timing ended up using her for our engagement photos. Shelby was incredibly sweet and responsive throughout our communication. No question was too small, and she helped us solidify our location based on the vibe we were looking for. On the day of our pictures, Shelby was very good at helping us relax and ensuring we had fun. We were both a little nervous as we didn't know what to expect but the time went by so quickly, and our photo session was so fun and romantic. Shelby is hilarious, sweet, compassionate, and high-energy. We completely trusted her vision and we were rewarded with wonderful photos for it. She sent over a preview incredibly fast and those pictures were gorgeous! She truly captured the essence of our relationship in her photography. We received our full album a month or so later and are so happy with how the photos turned out. Our friends and family LOVE them and were so impressed. You can genuinely feel the love jumping off the screen, as well as the overall New York energy. If we hadn't hired a photographer for our (CA) wedding by our session, we would have hands-down hired Shelby for that as well. That being said, we look forward to taking pictures with her again! Without a doubt - hire her! You won't regret it.

I’m Monica Cassell, and I’m on a mission to ensure your photos are really damn good. When you choose me as your photographer, you’re not just choosing another vendor who’ll punch in and punch out. Hell no. You’re choosing a comprehensive client experience. I prioritize spending time with you, getting to know you individually and as a couple, and serving you in this season through engagement photos, recommendations, and anything else you might need. By the time you run through the sparkler tunnel to your getaway car, we’ll be so close you might just ask me to come with you (JK, unless it’s Disneyworld).

The communication was great with Monica and Tyler. They let us know before hand what we were going to do and helped out a lot during photos with things that they didn’t have to help with. They gave great and fun vibes to us for our wedding and during wedding. They made us feel comfortable while doing photos and videos. I hired Monica and Tyler because of their professionalism and great work we seen online. We definitely would recommend them for a Wedding or a lifetime experience.

When I first started looking for coordinators, I had the opportunity to speak to several different individuals. Alissa was able to stick out among them given her amazing personality and strive to build relationships. From day one she was committed to every detail and going above and beyond to help me in every area needed. She was always just a text or phone call away throughout the year and always managed to make time for me. As we got closer to the big day, she made sure every little detail was in order and made sure we got things done, even in the midst of all the crazy! Come day of the wedding and I truly could not have imagined a better team. Alissa and Regan MADE my wedding. They made sure everything went smoothly and tackled any issues I was aware about and not aware about. I was taken care of all night and it was quite obvious their number one goal was to make sure my husband I were happy. Our entire family and friends had nothing but great things to say and have asked for their contacts to recommend to everyone. Needless to say…. Grant and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Sweet Bliss Media!

The first part of wedding planning for us was finding the photographer because it was the most important to me (other than the man I was marrying). I was prepared to search high and low to find the perfect photographer, but Jessica found us! After attending a wedding expo she reached out and offered her services. We met for coffee and discussed our hopes and dreams for our upcoming wedding. There was an instant connection! I told Jessica wedding photos were at the top of my priority list, because they’re what lasts forever. I can look back on those photos and remember the excitement, happiness, and pure joy of marrying the man of my dreams. I told her I was looking for someone to capture the little moments along with the big. Jessica promised us everything we asked for and, man oh man, she delivered!!! I cannot speak highly enough of her. Every part of the process was made simple because of her organization and talent. Every communication we had was prompt, thoughtful, and respectful. She listened to our wishes, offered her expertise, and created unbelievable results!! Jessica and her assistant (Crystal) were fun to be around and made our sessions with them fly by. They made sure every detail was picture-perfect… even during our freezing cold outdoor engagement session. If anyone asks me for a photographer, Jessica is the name I give, every single time. She signed on to do our wedding, but we are now her clients for life because no one will compare to the incredible job she does. Let me squash any doubts you have and help you with the best decision you’ll make when it comes to finding a photographer… just hire Jessica Yahn!! We are forever grateful to have crossed paths with her!!

Justina was flexible and communicative the whole time. More importantly, I loved chatting with her and I felt like I was chatting with a friend. I felt like Justina really “got” me and what I was hoping for from our wedding pictures. After the wedding, Justina returned a HEFTY preview gallery with stunning pictures. Hullo! So you're gettin' hitched (YaaY!), but you’re not super into the idea of the overly-manicured wedding. A+ for you, because this is not your parents’ wedding photography. I'm a farm kid who floats between the journalism and art worlds. I love telling stories as much as I love listening to the stories of others. I’m the type of person who makes up musicals for my own amusement and nurses a soft spot for sci-fi and fantasy. If I’m not taking photos, I’m usually dancing. Or cooking. It’s possible I may have a baking addiction and try to mitigate the damage by forcing the goods on loved ones.

While we can always get down with a classic editorial portrait, we steer clear of photos that feel posed or stagnant. Obviously, we make images that are aesthetically beautiful, and it's our priority to capture you in your best angles & lighting. But more importantly, we are seeking split-second, cinematic, and emotive moments that pull you in and make you think "this looks like a still from a movie!" Every single wedding contains moments like this, and it's our job to be alert enough to catch them. We are very, very in sync and unobtrusive. We find corners to nestle in to watch & eventually work our way into the heart of the action.

Josie and Alex are geniuses and really were the best choice we made in our wedding planning. They were extremely proactive and very responsive. The photos are absolutely stunning. I want to hang every single one!! We love this dynamic amazing duo. Thank you for everything!

I'm also a HUUUUGE Detroit Red Wings fan, if you're into any of that, we'll get along great!

Hi there! My name is Amandha, but you can call me your professional third-wheel. I’m a 26 y.o Brazilian Denver photographer who’s obsessed with capturing the most imperfect perfect moments of you and your love - especially on your big day - here or wherever you’d like to take me. I’ve been photographing love in all of it's shapes since I was 15y.o so I grew up loving people’s authenticity and their unique way of seeing life and showing themselves. Then I got in love with how amazing it is be able to tell all of their story with a still image. And that’s what I’m here for, tell your love story in the most unique and “you” way possible.

Awarded Best of Zola
Amandha is an awesome photographer!! She’s very sweet and creative. My girlfriend and I had so much fun in our session, and we absolutely LOVED the pictures!!! Amandha made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, which helped us to get what we expected from this shoot: very natural, sweet and spontaneous pictures! I highly recommend her!!

I’m McKenzie, a photographer who embraces my couples who desire physical visual memories of their connection at any level, so you can have the stages of your relationship captured to look back on and remember all of the little things that feel so big; the way they brush your hair out of your face or beam at how beautiful you are, or even the smallest thing like a hand on your thigh. All of these things help you feel exactly how you felt in that moment. If you are here, you are the brave and courageous people who are willing to step in front of my camera and be honestly you, and who desire a photo gallery that makes you feel something.

If you want top notch photos and a super professional and friendly photographer look no further. McKenzie was so amazing to work with. Not only where my photos amazing, but she was amazing to work with. Her energy and vibe are unmatched. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Kara was a pleasure to work with! We booked her almost a year out for our September 2020 wedding. She always stayed in touch, and when the pandemic hit made sure to let us know that she is available to figure out solutions incase we cannot go through with our original plans. Kara was incredibly professional and gave us suggestions for poses, scouted photo locations, and met with us before our elopement. She was very flexible and understanding when we had to change our wedding to be smaller and then to an elopement all together. On the day of she came to photograph us on time, gave us great direction and made us feel comfortable during the whole process. It was like having a friend around, which meant a lot to us since we had o one but us on our special day due to COVID. We had so much fun shooting we didn't notice our time was up! She was so excited about our photos she send us sneak peeks within hours of our ceremony, while on her layover. Needless to say we were thrilled and amazed with the end photos she provided. She had the final gallery ready for us within the timeline she provided in her contract ( actually even earlier than we expected!) The photos were presented in an easy to access gallery where you can also print them or make them into an album. We are absolutely in LOVE with the photos she took of us! We will cherish them for the rest of our lives. Thank you Kara!

I was that kid enchanted by Disney Princess movies and the idea of "true love". My true love revealed itself through photography. At 8, I grabbed my dad's camera and was hooked, thrilled to show people my world. I started with zoo animals, friends, and siblings, eager to freeze moments in time. As I grew, I learned from local photographers and knew by 17 that photography was my calling. Since then, I’ve captured love in all its forms: couples, new parents, best friends, and the joy of seeing your favorite band live. The world is full of magical firsts, and I'm honored to capture these moments forever.

When your man hugs you so strong, that you can't breathe or when your dad is crying (for the first time in his life!) listening to your vows at the altar. I do believe, that these un-staged moments are more meaningful than classy portraits on a sunset (but no worries, you'll plenty of both!) If you feel like we are on the same page - let's talk! Write me a few words about who you are, tell me your story and let's create something beautiful together!

However what sets a great vendor apart from and incredible vendor is two things. Comfortability and Personality! She makes it so easy to be photographed and she's confident at it. My heart burns with a fierce and undeniable love for photography. It's a passion that runs deep, rooted in the belief that every image has the power to speak to the soul and evoke emotions that can't be put into words. My love for capturing moments behind the lens encompasses all aspects of life. It's these moments of raw and genuine connection that ignite my soul and drive my creativity. Because to me, a photograph is not just about being aesthetically pleasing or technically perfect. It's about capturing the essence of a moment, the emotions that can't be replicated, and the stories waiting to be told.

Where do I even begin. I met Dominque almost a year ago. I was looking for a photographer for our (now husband and I) wedding shower. I met with a couple photographers and reviewed their portfolios. I was drown to Dominque’s work. The warm touch is a favorite of mine. Then I met her via zoom and that’s when the search ended. Instantly we connected with her vibe and excitement. We hired her on the spot. She was amazing at the shower. Making sure she hit everyone on the list we credited together for the shots. After receiving her photos (incredibly fast) from our shower we were blown away in the beauty she captured behind the lens. To say we were obsessed would be an understatement. We then decided to hire her for our destination wedding approx 6 months later in Saint Lucia. She was amazing leading up to the date. Meetings with me to go over ideas, set up wedding day timelines and even coming up with additional photo sessions we could create during the wedding week. She was more than a photographer she wanted to do more and she exceeded all expectations. To say the least she became a blessing throughout this process. Leading up to our destination wedding Dominque became more of a friend with how she makes you feel as she is capturing your day in the best way. If that wasn’t already the best we received all our photos from the wedding, sunrise shoot, boat shoot and a mini boudoir session in the ocean. All we can say is we were blown away. The photos … breathtaking. As I’ve already told her. She’s stuck with us. She’s officially our family photographer. I highly recommend Dominique. You can see the glow behind her lens and it shows in her work.

We help outdoorsy lovers get married in beautiful outdoor venues provided by Mother Nature herself. Our couples have the wedding of their lifetime doing things that matter to them with their closest family and friends. We create inexpensive intimate ceremonies in expansive settings in the woods, river canyons, mountain ridges, deserts, or beaches. We give couples an opportunity to create their own ceremonies and trail-blaze their own traditions as they begin their Forever Endeavor Together. And we document it all with stunning, bold, crystal clear photographs that are a reverie both in nature and love.

Awarded Best of Zola
Our life together has been an adventure. I knew I wanted something special to encapsulate the essence of us for our 10 year vow renewal. Natural Unions' photography was perfect. The day was an adventure itself. They were flexible with our sporadic nature and changing weather. We went to many locations to find the Goldilocks of what we were looking for. When we verbalized our commitment to each other it was in the serenity of nature. The photos are absolutely breathtaking and ones we will cherish for the rest of life’s adventure together.

Cannot recommend Joe Banker Photography and Videography enough! We hired them for our wedding and received a free engagement shoot in our package. My husband and I are very nervous and uncomfortable with our pictures being taken but Joe and Ashley immediately made us feel comfortable and confident. Our engagement pics were STUNNING! Because of this, we ended up extending our wedding package to include our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Joe and Ashley were part of our entire wedding weekend and were one of our favorite parts. They were calm, extremely professional, constantly being flexible with weather and lighting, and so accommodating to my husband and I and our entire bridal party. They were so unbelievable that we received texts and calls from guests about how appreciative they were of Joe and Ashley - and this was BEFORE our wedding day pics even were released! Needless to say, our pictures and videos from our wedding weekend were perfect. Joe and Ashley have a keen eye for beautiful shots and what works for each couple. I’m a photographer, a mom, a wife, a snowboarder, a surfer, a roller coaster enthusiast, a college instructor, and a former mechanical engineer. I recently earned my Ph.D. in Education (but you don’t have to call me Dr.)! I have an extremely short attention span, am addicted to wearing beanies, and am fueled by chai tea. I'm socially awkward most of the time I'm in public, and I make weird faces when I concentrate to take photos. I dress for comfort and for rolling around on the ground, standing in creeks, and climbing into trees to capture the best angles for my photographs — but I do clean up reasonably well on wedding days!
